Cute, no-spice hockey novella.

This was a cute second chance novella with a touch of fake dating. I really enjoyed the Hadley and Jett and how they overcome their past hurts with each other. The snark and sass Hadley gave to Jett and her best friend was great. I really enjoyed the ending and how Hadley stepped up with her big gesture. The story didn’t feel rushed and incomplete even though it was a novella.

This is book one in the Meet-Cute Match-Up series. A multi author series about the Brairwood Bobcats hockey team. A clean reads series.

I really good novella to read in-between your longer books.

Sometimes a novella just hits the spot: not too long, not too short and thoroughly enjoyable!
This one had some great characters who were recovering from their painful breakup of 10 years ago.

I like that, even though all the romantic/attraction feelings are there, both Jett and Hadley are adults and act like adults. It makes for some nice character arcs, some of which have already happened and some of which we get to be a part of.

The meet-cute in this story is pretty great!

Hadley and Jett

This is a fun quick to read story. I enjoyed reading as the characters overcame past feelings and learned to love each other again. Even though this book is short it’s well done and perfect when you’re not wanting to read a full length book.

I already know i’m gonna love this series, I wish this one was longer, and that’s the only reason it got 3 stars, it would’ve got more if it had more meat to it. But I loved Jett and Hadley and I just want to see more of themmm😩
