The Factory Girl

Rate this book
One girl's journey will test her courage, her spirit, and the strength of her heart in ways she never imagined.

When Nell Carter is torn away from her sister Annie, she clings desperately to her younger sister Kitty as her only anchor in a cruel and unforgiving world. But fate has other plans, and soon Nell finds herself utterly alone, with nothing but her own determination to carry her forward.

From the dark confines of the workhouse to the smoke and noise of the Manchester factories, Nell battles hardship, betrayal, and loss. Can she find justice—not only for herself, but for countless others trapped in poverty’s grip?

Heartbreaking yet uplifting, The Factory Girl is a moving story of resilience, courage, and the power of hope against the odds. Will Nell’s journey bring her closer to reuniting with Annie and Kitty, or will destiny keep the sisters apart forever?

Perfect for fans of Dilly Court and Nadine Dorries, this is the unforgettable second installment in The Orphan Sisters series.
