I have to say this book amazed me because it was so different from Nycole”s previous books. This book will definitely make you hate men that’s for sure and also keep you shocked with so many twist and turns. Red is a bad as Angel of revenge that had me screaming heck yeah. Another five star read from Nycole, her writing keeps getting better and better. Can I rate this a 10 star? lol 😆

From the second I opened this book, I struggled to put it down and before I knew it, I read the whole thing. This book contains lots of revenge and notes of a slow burn. This writing style was very unique and this is a thriller I would recommend to anyone❤️‍🔥

Book grabbed you write from the start. One persons revenge for crimes committed against her sister turns into crimes for justice. A detective in search of the killer has to discover what he is set out to protect. The law of the victim. He finds her during his search, leaving clues for one another along the way. At some point there is no turning back and they are in this together. Truly enjoyed this books. Loved the ending

oh my freaking gosh!!!!!! This book was so freaking good. Ruby was my favorite character if I had to pick (her personality is what did it for me). Creed is a detective I could get behind for his determination to catch the culprit. Blacktop Revenge was definitely an excellent thriller because it kept me up until the very last page. Highly recommend it!!!!!

And she has done it again!!! This book was so good. I read it in two days. Its a short read but wow oh wow. The amount of details she puts into this and the character and scenes she creates. It truly was a book that I haven’t read anything like before

I received this as an ARC. I loved the overall idea of the book, so I signed up. I feel that the overall story was good, but it left me feeling like it was lacking something. I understand the story is about a girl who seeks revenge for herself and her sister and that she teams up with a detective to get what she needs. There were several instances where she said it was the final kill, and then the next one would be the final kill. I also dont understand how she could afford a big rig...several times over after destroying several. Those are expensive, so it felt not so believable. I did enjoy the concept, but I would have liked to have seen it written with more context. Maybe explain how they were in foster care and ended up in a position of such financial security that she could afford so much at such a young age in such a short amount of time? Talk about how she tracked each one down and go into greater depth on that instead of jumping from kill to kill with each chapter? Again, the story was good, and the idea was great, but I was expecting more.

This book was excellent. l loved the shorter chapters, the pacing, the characters....All of it. Just an overall well written book that I recommend highly if you enjoy thriller books with revenge, justice, murder, and more! I couldn't put it down, though there were a few times I did choose to for my kids and family time 🥰 Otherwise I would have finished this in one sitting. I do wish there had been a little bit more backstory on Jamie, Red, and Creed. Overall, though, I'd still give this between a 3.75-4 star rating. l am hoping for a sequel and/or a prequel, so we can get more of the characters stories and more of the story from where it ends in this book. I just want more from this author and story, Please! 😍

Ruby aka Red takes to the highway seeking thd justice and revenge for her little sister Jamie that the justice system denied her. She carefully maps out her route - each dot on the map the location of a person. A predator. Someone who had a hand in ruining her sister's life. Now she is on a path to burn it all down.

But someone has been watching her. Following her. Seeing exactly what she's been doing. A detective named Creed. He's figured out what she's been doing and what her victims had done but isn't sure how it all connects back to Red. By the time he has it figured out, he is in too deep. He knows and has seen more than he should have.

Does he give in and help her? Does he arrest her? Will she ever find the justice and revenge for her sister that she's after? Will she stop when she does?

The cat and mouse game with Detective Creed adds even more layers, and just when you think you know where it’s headed, the book throws you off balance in the best way possible.

Just finished Blacktop Revenge and WOW!! This is my first book by Nycole, and I loved it..
Dark, gritty, and absolutely addictive, this story had me hooked from the very first chapter..
Red is a total badass but still vulnerable in ways that broke my heart..
If you’re into revenge plots + dangerous tension + edge-of-your-seat suspense, you need this one on your TBR ASAP!!!!!

Revenge by a strong FMC!
This is the best description I can give I this book.
Red is the main character in this book. It takes you through her journey for revenge and making the world a better place. No spoilers!

❤️‍🔥 - Plot ( I struggle at times to keep up and understand)
I felt like some of the story was left out as well. More detail could have been given.

I received this book as ARC! And the only reason that I’m rating it at three stars is because it just wasn’t enough detail in the plot. I felt like the storyline was very grabbing,it was intense and it had great character development as far as the main female character went but I felt like there were some points that I would get really into it and then we would just rush to another part and I really desired more. My thoughts on the female main character is that she is a total breath of fresh air she’s got edge and mystery and a powerful demeanor. truthfully I feel like she was the female version of the male main character in the way that everything that he wanted to be she embodied and executed when he couldn’t. she was the real powerhouse the fire that kept everything burning when he was lost in the dark. Overall great read if you want something quick, but like I said I just wish that there was a little bit more detail like an additional 50 to 70 pages and it would easily be a six star read

This was a fast-paced thriller with ALL The Twists and Turns!
And I was ALL IN and there for it! I devoured this book in one night and I definitely wanted more of Ruby and Creed and their blacktop justice. This was my first experience reading Nycole's books and I was NOT disappointed.

Ruby's story was so compelling and pulled me in!! She is determined to be sure that those that harmed her sister and took her from this world were punished and then began her journey of hunting all predators! Her rage drives her and I felt it and could nothing else but behind Ruby 100%. Creed is the detective who is driven to discover who she is and the why behind her acts only to come to some realizations of his own. It's soooo good to read and experience these shifts and I definitely CANNOT wait to see if there is any more to their stories. No brainer! This is a Read that I will recommend to everyone that needs a new Thriller in their lives!!

Feminine rage, bone searing revenge that fuels deep seated need to avenge her loved ones, and scour the earth of the sick scum that walks it, DiCredico gives you a quick read and look into the mind of a person who just doesn't give a fuck anymore. This is my first dive into Nycole's writing and let me tell you chefs kiss. I was transfixed from start to finish. Our FMC is a woman on a mission and will not let anything get in her way. She is a ghost to the world and brings swift justice where the justice system has failed. This is a great read for me as a palate cleanser between all the fantasy and dark romance I normally read. I loved every word in this book.

This book has such a cool premise, and I really liked both the FMC and MMC. Red is a total Bad-Ass. I just kept wanting a little more from them—especially some extra tension before they finally met. The story moves really fast, which I usually enjoy, but here I felt like it needed a bit more to ground it.
Still, I did really enjoy it overall. It’s quick, dark, and easy to get through—definitely a good pick if you’re in a slump or just want something fast-paced.

This was a great read. It was fast paced and intriguing. I genuinely couldn't guess the twists and turns, which i loved. Red is truly a B.A fmc and a must read character.
The author writes in a way that keeps you hungry for more while you're in the story. It's never boring. I didn't know how it was going to end. I kept trying to guess but I was 100% wrong, which was welcomed.

Blacktop Revenge has had me on the edge of my seat the whole read.

Red had me tearful and angry for her as her grief and revenge was dealt with out on the evil and sick of the world.

With notes of suspense, a touch of slow-burn, a bad ass FMC, and Thriller.

This book was so addictive so if you are wanting a short read with a bunch of suspense, ADD IT TO YOUR TBR!
