Their love was naught but a dream. Now it's time to wake up.
Karlyle has put an end to it-- he will no longer meet with Ash Jones. Their encounters left him too confused, too hopeful, when clearly Ash did not feel the same. By order of his grandfather, Lord Arthur Frost. Karlyle life is to progress is planned. He will wed another, an omega of his family's choosing and return to his rightful post.
Meanwhile, Ash is at a loss. This man, this Karlyle Frost whose stoic face melted at his first kisses and whole body dissolved under his touch, had been but a mystery to him for so long. This is nothing like he love he has experienced thus far, so why does the end hurt so much? But on his way to reclaim Karlyle, Ash finds Karlyle gone. How ever will he find him to finally admit that perhaps this was love all along?
I am undone. I can't express how incredibly happy these two make me. Karlyle makes me just !!!!!! does that make sense? idk but it's what I feel
The yearning is so palatable and visceral that I found myself gasping out loud and my chest aching. I cried a bunch, both happy and sad when I caught myself longing as desperately as Karlyle. did I want to smack Ash sometimes? yes, but I still love him dearly.
I did read the manhwa first, but honestly I love the novels more. peaking into Karlyle’s and Ash's thoughts and actions that just can't be translated to a visual form is just... ugh. I wish I could read these for the time again 💜
Continuing our Story between Karlyle and Ash, it is important to notice that the main story will only be continued to the middle of the book. Starting with our Misunderstanding and the Angst, which slowly turns into a bright side and brings a happy end for both of them. The other part are side stories, which i read half heartedly. In my opinion a side story should stand apart from the main plot and serve as fan service... which happens here luckily (Some Korean Boys Love Stories will forget that). The side Stories pick up again on their domestic life and has depicted some Sexual Scenes in considerable lengh (be a judge yourself, for me the scenes are well written, yet lack any significance in the story and are there for pure fan service of the readership).
Volume 3 is said, if my memory doesn't fail me, to be released in 2026. Under circumstances i will finish this Series, if i am financially able to order them. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- - Series ☆ 3.3/5 ☆ - [ Define The Relationship: Vol. 1 ] ★ 3.4/5.0 ★ 7/10 ★ [ Define The Relationship: Vol. 2 ] ★ 3.2/5.0 ★ 6/10 ★ [ Define The Relationship: Vol. 3 ] ★ TBA ★ ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
I finished the main story and didn’t bother with the side stories. The melodramatic miscommunication really got on my nerves and I still hate the instalove. By the end of the story these two barely knew anything about each other and had cumulatively spent like… 5? days in each others’ presence but I’m supposed to believe they’re in love? I’m too demiromantic for this.
