I love Duke's writings. I don't get on social media much anymore, but when I do, I make sure to check out his daily devotionals. They bring a smile to my face and challenge me. But, that is not surprising. Because if you have ever met Duke or sat underneath his teaching, you will understand what I am saying.
When I was 21 years old, I was at an event where Duke was teaching. He taught on holiness. It greatly impacted my life. Need proof? That was 34 years ago this coming July. When I was going through an interview process to receive my minister's license, he spoke life to me. When I was at one of my lowest points, he was there beside me and my family. That's Duke Stone.
You may be thinking, well there is no way this guy can write an honest review of this book. I get that. But I challenge you to buy this book and read it. The daily devotions are short. Pray the short prayer at the end. A few minutes to start your day is life-changing. In a few minutes each day, you will see a passage of scripture come to life in a grace-filled, loving way with practical application.
