I’ve watched my brothers find their ol’ ladies one by one, an ache deep inside as I long for the same. Because of my past, I’ve always been a bit leery about relationships, but thanks to the examples I’ve seen, I know that the right woman is out there for me. I just have to find her. I never, ever expect it to be at the massage parlor I go to in order to have an injury worked on.
Tamara is everything I’ve ever wanted in a woman. The fact that she’s a single mom never bothers me, either. Chance is a ball of energy who needs a man’s influence, and I decide I’m the one for the job. Now to get his mother on the same page. Her walls are higher than Mount Everest, but with time and patience, I’m sure I can destroy them. Except… her past comes roaring back into Roanoke and he’s got an agenda of his own.

My one and only relationship gave me my precocious, beautiful son, and I vowed the day he was placed in my arms that I would protect him with every breath in my body. Seeing Scythe sitting in my waiting room that fateful day, the first chink in my wall leaves behind a crumbling pile of rubble. Little by little, I watch him interact with my son, his brothers, and their families and realize that what I’m seeing is genuine. There’s no artifice, no faking, it’s one-hundred percent valid.
He ticks off all the boxes on my list, the question is will my past derail a future with him before it even gets going? However, he steps up in a huge way, and I find myself with a shark of an attorney on my side as I fight for custody against the man who walked away when I told him I had a positive pregnancy test. I know Tim’s up to something, I just have no idea what it really is, but the club IT gurus are working nonstop to get the rest of the story. Hopefully, it’s before anything happens to either me or my son. Still, I trust Scythe and know he’s going to do everything in his power to ensure the safety of both of us. And that makes me love him a little bit more.

Absolutely Loved
I am absolutely in love with this book. Not only was it a great addition to the Imperial Knights series but the characters were awesome. I love a strong and feisty female main character and Tamara had that in spades. You add in the swoonyness of Scythe and this book just traps you. Who doesn’t love a single mom who doesn’t need a man but wants a partner and a guy who appreciates a woman and adores her kid?! I loved the set up for the next book and am so excited to see what happens and where things go. Bring on more of these amazing me and women! I am so here for it!!

Scythe's Salvation is book 2 in the Imperial Knights MC: Roanoke, VA written by the amazing author Darlene Tallman. I love this author's novels, and this novel did not disappoint. From the first chapters, I was hooked and could not stop reading. This book will make you squeal, cry, laugh, swoon and gasp, but the best part of the book for me? the paranormal twist in the story. This is Scythe & Tamara plus her cute little boy Chance. The story was filled with drama, angst, secrets, danger, a bit of mystery, second chances and romance. I loved every minute of reading their story. I was sad when it ended because it was so good. I am already looking forward to the next in the series. I'm left with an amazing book hangover, thanks Darlene.

Good Book
This is the second book,in the "Imperial Knights NC" series. It was Great. It was entertaining, unpredictable, couldn't put it down, Wonderful Characters, characters from the other books are in her, New MC name, single mom, tattoo artists, MC Enforcer, Ex is running for Sheriff, little action, massage therapists.Ex came back, he got a motive, DNA test, chosen family, boggles my mind that we’re moving at what feels like warp speed, but I guess when it’s right, it’s right,
Ol' Lady, Both were Kidnapped, shot, automobile accident or was it?, and so much more.
Can't Wait for Hawg story.

Scythe & Tamara
I love this MC (no matter the name). While it’s not full on paranormal, it’s got enough to make you think. There’s magic in the world, you just need to pay attention.
Scythe and Tamara are so good for each other. They both had difficult pasts, in different ways but with some similarities. They have that instant connection. It’s so easy between them. I enjoyed both their story and the continuing story that has been running in this series. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

This one was cute. I liked how Scythe and Tamara met and how instantly smitten Scythe was, as well as impressed by her skills. It was fun when he ran into Tamara with her son and how he was with the boy, which was just the start of how he treated him, precious, just like his mother did.
The drama at the end was crazy! I hated how it connected with the past troubles, but they managed to take care of them and do so in a way that the current threat is gone, so that this couple is free to live their lives happy.

Loved this one! Scythe hurt his back and being a tattoo artist he needed to get back in shape for work. Tamara is the massage therapist recommended to him by a friend. Sparks fly but he is even more entranced by her little boy. He is adorable and loves to fish as well. They work well as a family and just need to fix the issue of her ex who is fighting her for custody. Game on.....

Scythe & Tamara
Scythe meets Tamara when he got to get a message after a fall. From that moment on the chemistry between them is a slow burn as they navigate being in each others worlds and he builds a relationship with her son. Chance is adorable and I loved his excitement. I couldn't be happier for the three of them and they surprise that Hawg dropped in the preview to his story.

I loved it!!
This book tells the love story of Scythe and Tamara. I adore them and her son Chance too. This book has romance, angst, and dangerous threats. Of course the club is there to deal with those threats. I started to read this book and didn't stop reading until I reached the happily ever after ending. I absolutely recommend this book to you. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

great story and characters
Storyline is confusing as what is the IKMC was the Roanoke Raiders that turned into the RBMC, that turned into the IKMC. Now when did this all happen? Which books and why? Some things changed and some things remained but its confusing to the readers. I give it a 3 star because all the changes were never explained. Glad the paranormal aspect is still around.

Great story!!
This is the second book in this impressive series and this is Tamara and Scythe's story.
This is a well written story which has found family, friendships, emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, challenges, kidnapping, undeniable chemistry, and love which all leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

That was pretty good!! Scythe is awesome!! He hurt his back and finally broke down 2 get a massage 2 try 2 help his back. But that helped his future. But can he convince her 2 give him a chance 4 herself and her son? When her ex starts trouble they will find how 2 save them and find answers on what happened. I really enjoyed it!!

I adore Darlenes books. They’re always full of love. Tamara and her son are going comfortably on living their lives when Scythe meets Tamara and decides his single days are over. Tamara reciprocates his feeling, but unknown to her danger is on her tail. But Scythe will save her. I love the paranormal twist here.

Phenomenal!!!!

Scythe and Tamara are the PHENOMENAL couple who star in this book. We also get the sweet Chance adding to this little family.
This was a page turner! Action, adventure, mystery and intrigue along with spicy good stuff and a great HEA!

Loved it
This was sweet and had a little spice to it in places loved the story but I know I've read this series before another which Has I should have and I need to to know about some things because some of the story was lost on me because that information is in those books looks as though I'm going to be doing some research to find out and I'm looking forward it it

This is book 2 in the Imperial Knights MC.. such a great story.. you have Scythe (who is the MC enforcer/tattoo artist) and Tamara

Scythe is a tattoo artist, and he loves it. He having some problems with his lower back. He decides he needs a massage. He meets Tamara, who just opens her shop. She has a son of five. There are some twists and turns. This story is a must read.

such a great story…
I absolutely loved this book….. it has all the great feels. My only complaint is I wish there was an epilogue for them maybe two years down the road to see where they were or a wedding scene.
