Sleigh bells and wedding bells will ring in this cozy and spicy holiday novella, featuring the entire cast of the Enchanted Legacies series.
It’s been two years since Alix Knight first fell into the fae realm, and now she and Daemon—her bodyguard-turned-king—are finally getting their happily ever after.
With their wedding set for Christmas day, Alix is excited to share her joy with the entire kingdom. Yet, nothing in Ellender is ever simple. According to old fae tradition, the new king and queen are required to grant any request during the week before their wedding, no matter how impossible. Alix and Daemon will need a Christmas miracle, and help from all their friends to play politics with neighboring kingdoms, find, two missing children, manage Alix’s pushy human family, and fulfill every wish, before they can finally make it down the aisle.
A Holiday in Every Heart is a holiday themed novella in the world of Enchanted Legacies. It follows the events of A Thorn in Every Heart and A Storm in Every Heart and cannot be read independently.

Super cute Holiday Novella with a splash of winter magic. I adore all the characters in this world, so getting to see a peak into their time around the holidays and Alix’s & Daemon’s Wedding !!!! Yes please. The heat, passion and love between all these characters is just always a joy to read !! Can’t wait for the next book !!
“Do you bind your fate together for better or worse?” “It could always be worse."
A round of Christmas tree cakes in celebration of A HOLIDAY IN EVERY HEART.
This is one of my favorite worlds, and it felt so good back.
The gangs all back together in this holiday novella, and between ruling a kingdom, impending nuptials, and couples dynamics...chaos is always around the corner.
This is a continuation of books 1 and 2, and if you haven't read them, this is your PSA.
I didn't realize how much I missed Daemon and Alix until I read this funny, engaging, swoony holiday novella! I really enjoyed being back in their world again as Daemon and Alix were preparing for their wedding!
There was a cozy holiday vibe that was interrupted by a slightly more sinister Hansel and Gretel retelling. Both were melded perfectly together in a way that left me unable to stop reading!
I was so excited at every hint at Aurelia and Fox's book coming up next, and I cannot wait to read their story!🖤
First off, thank you Kate for providing me with an eARC of this book.
I wanted to love it, especially because the first book of Daemon and Alix was my favourite of the series and we barely had moments with them in this novella. It focused more on other issues and characters. However, it was nice visiting this world again with previous characters. The overall plot was mid and a bit boring but the holiday vibes and atmosphere are definitely there.
Novellas recently are very a hit or miss for me (mostly a miss) and the books in this series are getting worse (by the rating) for my liking; however, I will read the third book in the series and see if I like it or not.
I was so excited for this holiday novella that follows up with Alix and Daemon (and other favorite characters too!!) This is part of The Enchanted Legacies world and does need to be read in order.
This was such a fun read - I couldn’t put it down! It was cute and cozy and full of holiday cheer. I was so excited for Alix and Daemon to get married…but do they make it down the aisle???
I loved seeing the other characters and the found family and fairy tale vibes were perfect.

I can’t imagine a more perfect holiday read than this book! It was so amazing getting to read about my favorite characters again with the rush of winter solstice spirit! As usual, Kate wrote an entertaining, spicy, and butterfly-in-the-stomach inducing holiday novella that is sure to make your season bright! I’m so excited for the next book in the series!
**Received this book as an ARC for an honest review**
"...all I can think is how much I love this man and how lucky I am that I found my way here to this very moment."
Kate has done it again. After recently finishing Odessa and Kastian's story, I am quite happy being back in Ellender.
In the novella it's Yule and a few days before Daemon and Alix's wedding, except that it's snowing and everything seems to be going the opposite of 'according to plan'.
So when a man approaches the king to ask for help finding his two grandkids who may have wandered off into the dangerous forest in the middle of the snowstorm, Daemon and his 3 closest friends head off to help look while Alix travels back to the human world to visit her mother.
With night coming on quickly, the men find themselves trapped in a tale they were told as kids, and Alix brings her mom into the Fae world.
The only question is will Daemon and the guys get back, and will Alix be able to convince her mom that Daemon exists, all before the wedding?
I really love a little quest book (novella) that adds to the story while showing us a little of the daily life of the characters before the next big one comes out, and this one just increased my excitement for the next one.
It's a festive, found-family bundle of feel-good between two pages.
Kate, please keep imagining this world because I LOVE being here.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of A Holiday in Every Heart.
Please note this book should not be read before book 1 and/or 2 in the series, it has some big spoilers and won’t make much sense if you haven’t read the others.
A Holiday in Every Heart is a Christmas theme novella and retelling of the classic fairytale, Hansel & Gretel. The author is great at weaving her characters and their stories through the fairytales making them feel fresh and new and giving them her own twist. This book is a bit of a check in with the characters from A Thorn in Every Heart (book 1) and A Storm in Every Heart (book 2). Everyone is back together again for Alix and Damon’s royal wedding but it seems like everything that can go wrong, will.
It’s short, has some dark parts, but also follows the authors usual writing style of funny and relatable. This novella sets the scene for book 3 and gives some hints about who the couple may be in that story, A Hunger in Every Heart.
If you like Raven Kennedy’s Heart Hassle series you will likely enjoy the interconnected, stand alone books in this series, Enchanted Legacies 💖

I missed Alix and Daemon in this series, and I’m so glad we got their perspectives in A Holiday in Every Heart! I was expecting a more lighthearted story with only 100-ish pages in the novella, and for some reason, I honestly wasn’t even expecting it to stay within the fairytale theme as much as the full length books, so I was pleasantly surprised when it turned into a Brothers Grimm retelling. This was still a quick end easy to read Christmas story where we finally got to see the HEA wedding for Alix and Daemon, but it was a little darker. I also really liked (what I really hope is) the set up for A Hunger in Every Heart.
I was so excited to get another Alix and Daemon story with this novella set in one of my favorite series. And as a bonus this is the perfect book to get you in the holiday spirit!
Alix is preparing for her Christmas Day wedding to Daemon, but what should be a magical week becomes complicated as traditions to grant requests from their subjects means they are doing unexpected tasks. They have to balance Alix's family, the requests from subjects and rising tensions with neighboring kingdoms.
This was such a great novella with all the characters we have come to love in the legacies series. This has solidified Daemon as an absolute favorite book boyfriend. I love the cozy holiday feelings in this book with found family.
I love this festive retelling and now I am even more excited for more of the enchanted

*M/F *Romantasy *Dual-1st-PoV *Fairytale Retelling *Hansel and Gretel *Holiday Themed *Found Family *Royal Wedding *Novella Wholesome novella for our couples ☺️ Aww this was a great extended epilogue essentially offering an insight into the futures of Alix&Damon with Odessa&Kastian starring as well! Alix and Damon are preparing for their Yuletide wedding yet in a tradition of granting wishes Damon helps to search for some missing children whilst Alix has to appease her mother 😳 each face a fraught path with its own troubles 😅 I do like in this one though that the girls have hero roles 👑💪 there’s not as much spice in this as the full stories but still heat and romance! 🥰 it’s a really good holiday addition to this world and a little insight into who our next couple may be 😄
eARC Review received for an honest review - happy release day!
Sleigh bells and wedding bells will ring in this cozy and spicy holiday novella, featuring the entire cast of the Enchanted Legacies series.
aahhhhh!!! I love how cozy this book is. this christmas novella is a spoiler if you haven't read a thorn in every heart and a storm in every heart. I love how Kate mixes in a new fun story with a classic fairytale. this novella is unique, quick, and a very cute inside look into Alix and Daemons relationship. I also really like that we got to see more of Alix with her family. 🥺
A Holiday in Every Heart is a holiday themed novella in the world of Enchanted Legacies. It follows the events of A Thorn in Every Heart and A Storm in Every Heart and cannot be read independently.
This was the perfect holiday novella and addition to Alix and Daemon’s story! (Before reading further, please note this is a novella that’s meant to be read after you’ve read both other books in this world, as there are major spoilers for them if not!)
It was such a lovely mix of magic and modern and had everything I loved about A Thorn in Every Heart but with a sprinkle of holiday cheer and twinkle of wedding bells! I really enjoyed the different elements in the story, including the action packed plot, character driven moments, and scenes dripping with winter and Yuletide imagery. For only being 100 pages, it packed such a punch and felt incredibly well paced and wrapped up well! I loved it and can see myself rereading this again around Christmas 🎄
This was a cute little Hansel & Gretel retelling that was worked into this world. Good luck to Alix, because I would have lost it with her mother a long time ago.
Literally 10 chapters plus the prologue. And it was such a sweet ending. I loved the Hansel and Gretel plot and it worked well with the wedding storyline. This writer can really make you feel like you’re right there with these characters. Daemon is still that male! And Alix is very relatable and can find humor in the oddity of her existence. I love that for them. It’s really light for a story about a disaster wedding and a cannibal creature of the woods who kidnapped 2 children over a wedding cake lol. I was disappointed we didn’t see a wedding in book 1 but this hit the spot.
Thank you for the ARC! Absolutely loved being back with Daemon, Alix, and the whole gang! Yule time in Storia, Ellender brings with it family drama, mystery, and little easter eggs to the next book ☺️
A funny, engaging, swoony holiday novella. Thank you so much to Kate for letting me read this early.
We go back to Alix and Daemon’s POVs, which never fail to make me laugh, and now they’re finally getting married. The nostalgia of our favourite found family felt like a warm holiday hug, which perfectly matched the hallmark Christmas special vibes. With a fresh new take on more classic fairytales, sprinkles of new information, favourite characters, action, and a hint at where we’re headed, this story had me hooked the whole way through.
For such a short story so many thinks came together perfectly. You can see the world of Ellender expanding with new characters, intrigue of old characters, and growth of the kingdom. I’m so excited for what comes next!
Okay, this was just wonderful guys. I’ve read the previous two books in this series so I immediately jumped on the opportunity to apply for the novella ARC. I love what I call “Christmas specials” in book series. Anything that falls around the holiday and is short and sweet. I love them and this was no different.
A Holiday in Every Heart takes place after both book 1 and 2 so if you haven’t read them, you should! Its Christmas time in the human world and Yule time in the Fae world. Alix and Daemon have been running their kingdom and strengthening their military while also planning their wedding which is set to take place on December 26th. Naturally, nothing goes according to plan.
Alix and Daemon are set to make a quick visit to see Alix’s mother who thinks she is still in Ireland with poor phone reception. Just a short visit, then back they will come to finish the wedding planning. Instead, two children from Storia go missing and rumor has it the Yule witch is involved. This bedtime story told to children to keep them in line may just be true.
Daemon and the guys set off into the woods to search for the children while Alix handles her family. Neither of these tasks are as easy as they seem though. Alix’s mother Iris, in all her theatrical glory, is put through the shock of her life when Alix has had enough and decides maybe it’s time to see that fairytales exist. Daemon’s hunt for two little kids turns into a lot more than he bargained for when its turns into a Hansel and Gretel style rescue mission.
This was only 10 chapters long and I loved every single word.
A Holiday in Every Heart is just as funny, spicy and thoughtfully delicious as A Thorn in Every Heart and A Storm in Every Heart. Please do yourselves a favor and start there so that you don’t ruin the fun with this one first.
Heading back to Ellendor for a holiday wedding of two of the main characters where they have to grant 1,000 wishes (for fae customs) so that they can then enjoy their honeymoon (in honor of human customs) means that there’s bound to be a bit of chaos to wrangle as the clock winds down to Yule and Christmas and Wedding time. Add in two missing children, a wedding cake disaster two days before the wedding, a human type A mother with a major dose of bulls*** detector who’s determined to get her daughter in her old wedding dress and suddenly eloping seems like it might have been the better way to go.
The retelling of Hansel and Gretel to balance out the Hallmark movie style wedding plot was beautiful and well executed. Nothing in this story felt forced together and seeing the peeks at which couple might be next to tell their story was fun too. Plus it’s always nice to see how the rest of our found family, friends and captured pirate (and Sushi!) are doing.
Definitely a quick read and will get you ready for all the cozy wintery spicy romantic happily ever after books on your tbr!
Thank you to the author for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Two years after her arrival in the fae world of Ellender, Alix Knight is getting married and gaining the title of Queen. Trying to blend human and fae wedding traditions is complicated, particularly the fae tradition that the bride and groom must grant 1,000 wishes in the week leading up to their marriage. When two children go missing and their grandfather requests King Daemon's help to find them, it is an easy yes. But nothing goes as expected, including Alix's visit with her mother, who demands answers about where her daughter has been the past two years. Can Daemon and Alix grant everyone's wishes and still have enough time to grant their own wish: to be married?
I adored this novella! It was wonderful to revisit Daemon and Alix's relationship. Please note that you must have read both A Thorn in Every Heart and A Storm in Every Heart before this novella, or you will encounter massive spoilers. The mystery of the missing children had those dark Christmas vibes that I love, and then, of course, the wedding had all the happy Christmas vibes. Seeing all of the characters again and getting a hint of what's to come was a blast. Alix's mother was too funny and cracked me up every time she appeared on the page. I'm so happy I got to see the royal wedding and experience the magic of Christmas within this series. Also, the spicy scenes were perfection. A must-read for fans of this series!

Thank you so much Kate King for providing me an earc of A Holiday In Every Heart! This novella is perfect for the upcoming holiday season! It was a fast, easy read and you could easily finish it in one sitting! I loved that all our favourite characters make an appearance in the story; and it has me soooo excited for the next book!
Alix & Daemon are preparing for their upcoming fae wedding on Yule and to say things go smoothly would be a lie. Alix and Daemon just want some alone time but they've been swamped with preparation of the wedding and the rebuild of there country. Just days before there wedding Alix has promised her mom that she would visit for Christmas and an incident within the village transpires...
‼️ I strongly recommend reading A Thorn In Every Heart & A Storm In Every Heart first as it will ruin the endings to both. ‼️
A perfect blend of cozy holiday vibes and fairytale magic! I love a fast paced engaging novella! This one was so good I read it in one sitting! It was cute, sweet, spicy, & a little dark! This is part of the Enchanted Legacies series so it’s set in the same world as A Thorn in Every Heart and A Storm in Ever Heart and it follows the same characters. This novella is about Alix and Daemon’s (from book 1) wedding. It’s starts off as a sweet and cozy holiday vibe but then takes a sinister turn with a Hansel & Gretel retelling thrown in! I did not see it coming and thought this was a lot of fun to read! And as usual Kate King had me cracking up with her sarcastic character banter and fanning my face from the spice!! 🥵 Highly recommend this for a quick, easy, and fun holiday read!! Thank you to the author for my advanced eARC. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
This was a cute and fun little "Holiday Episode" and I loved it!
Alix and Daemon are finally getting married. But, just like weddings in the real world, not everything goes according to plan. One major thing they have to do before the wedding is grant 1,000 wishes. They are two wishes away from being done, when someone from the village asks for their help finding a pair of missing kids. Everyone thinks the Yule Witch took them, but Alix and Daemon don't believe she is real. They set off in search, and find more than they thought they would. It got a little hairy for a minute, but this is a fairytale after all, so we did get a happy ending.
This was a fun read, and helped me get into the holiday spirit! I loved taking a little peak at what happened after the first two books, getting to see Alix and Daemon get married, and I loved the subtle set up for the next book!
ARC Review (a little late 🙈) This book is out NOW!
SUCH a cute little Holiday novella, perfect timing to get me into the spirit of the season 🎄
Please make sure you have read the first two books in the Enchanted Legacies series before this novella because they’re awesome and this will spoil both endings for you!
Did you read them yet??
Okay, now you can proceed to my review 😊
I loved being back in Alix and Daemon’s POV, they are getting ready for a huge royal Fae wedding and of course shenanigans happen and it doesn’t all go to plan. Kas and Dessa continue to be adorable and we learn they are on land for the month of the wedding!
A little cheesy, but I liked the true crime/fairytale retelling plot line. It brought some slightly higher stakes to such a short book, while keeping the books true to their fairytale roots.
Alix’s situation with her mom was both hilarious and relatable for so many. When she finally brought her into the know and they mended their relationship a bit, it made her wedding even more special!
The hints (or breadcrumbs 😉) left about Fox and Aurelia have me so excited for the next full book in the series! A Hunger in Every Heart is out next year!
This novella was the trip back to Ellender I have been waiting for. Not only did we get to read about the royal wedding, but we also got a side quest along with it!
I enjoyed getting to see more of Aurelia and Fox, who are the main characters in Kate's next book. However, I really loved getting back to the original couple of Alix and Daemon! I missed them. I'm also not so secretly hoping there are kids in the future.
Overall, there was a good mix of sweet and spicy, along with a good dose of crazy! Thank you to the Yule witch and Iris for that! In some ways I wish there was more, but I 'm just glad we got something to tide us over!
Thank you Kate King for this novella as I did not realize how much I missed Alix and Daemon—but this novella made me so happy and I am thankful I was able to read it as an ARC reader.
If you are looking for a short and quick read that still provides spice, but also some sweetness and still transforms you to a fantasy world—you need to read this novella. You definitely need to read the first book (preferably the first two books though).
Alix and Daemon continue to provide the perfect dynamic (in my opinion), and I loved how much Alix’s family was involved with this one. I hope future books continue to dive into that a bit more.
I definitely plan to reread this again this holiday season ❤️.
This is an honest review provided after receiving the novella as an ARC reader.

Novellas for me are always a fun easy read but usually there’s nothing to them. They feel almost pointless. I’m genuinely happy and surprised as this one actually had a good little storyline to it.
It was really nice to jump back into Alix and Daemon’s POVs again. There was a missing children side quest plus the incoming wedding that was the focus of the book. It made the novella a really easy read but every major chatacter in the series had moments in the story. Probably one of the more enjoyable novellas I’ve read.
The little hints to the next book too! Can’t wait.
