One minute, everything is ordinary. The next, the world is a living nightmare.
A strange sickness creeps through the streets, twisting neighbors and loved ones into something unrecognizable. It spreads like wildfire. A single bite is enough to turn the familiar into the monstrous.
There are no answers. No warnings. Just blood and teeth that cannot be reasoned with.
In the ruins of ordinary lives, strangers are pulled together by terror and a convict returning home, a daughter searching for her mother, a band chasing their first taste of fame, an old man who thought his fighting days were over. Their stories collide in the shadows of a city devoured by madness.
This book will hook you from the prologue! An outbreak plagues the world, and you can either become one of the infected or band together to save each other.
I really liked these crazy short stories. These attacks from people who were infected with rabies was crazy but very interesting. I just liked the different people and how they was attacked. I think the Vet office was my favorite
Heart palpitations from the start and doesn’t let go of your throat EVER. Fast paced and multiple POV creating this intoxicating rush of adrenaline. Can’t recommend enough
Zombies that can run are one of the worst kind. In just 33 short pages Brody Butcher has fleshed out what would have taken some authors at least a hundred. Fast paced, each character faces an event, some tied to each other, all coming at the reader like rapid gunfire. My heart is pounding and I'm breathless. I'm completely stressed out by this story and I want more!
HOLY CRAP... Brody Butcher sure knows how to write horror stories, and I am OBSESSED! This was my first zombie related book, and I am TOTALLY here for it!! One of the things I loved most about this one, was the fact it was multiple Pov and they all connected with each other in different ways!! Another FANTASTIC 5 star read!!
Wow, Rabies. Rea.ly good quick short story. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Looking out your windows. This is going to be a very interesting series.
This book was excellent! The writing was good, the storyline great, and the pace? Wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be reading more from the author!
