Sawyers Cove #2

You Found Me Broken

Rate this book
Harper Rhodes has always been the girl who keeps it together — loud, determined, and fiercely independent. But when a storm tears through Sawyers Cove, the life she’s worked so hard to build begins to unravel.

Cameron Callahan, her best friend’s brother, is the one person she can’t seem to get along with. Their constant bickering hides a spark neither of them wants to come to terms with. But when circumstances force Harper to move in with him, the tension becomes impossible to ignore.

Then there’s Tucker Hayes, the contractor hired to repair her home — and somehow, he starts fixing much more than just the roof.

Torn between the man who challenges her and the one who calms her, Harper must confront feelings she’s long buried. In a small town where lines blur and old wounds resurface, she must decide if a broken heart is still capable of choosing love.

I was given the chance to read this as an ARC🫶🏼

This has been my favorite read so far this year. I giggled and kicked my feet for pretty much all of the book.

“Accepting help is not a form of weakness, but a show of strength.”

The love and acceptance that flows through this book is so endless that makes me emotional🥹

Being able to watch Harper & Cameron fully discover themselves was amazing. And the fact that they were able to do so together made it even better. Tucker being there also helped with the opening eyes and hearts. Honestly couldn’t have asked for better chemistry between the 3 of them.

“Labels don’t mean shit when they don’t fit exactly who you are. No one expects you to conform to one word.”

This book healed some things in me that I didn’t know needed to be healed💗

-ARC REVIEW-

This is my first Talia Everhart book and after reading You Found Me Broken? H.O.O.K.E.D

Ugh this story was so beautiful for being less than 300 pages. Harper, Cameron and Tuckers story and journey, really pull at your heart strings and makes you feel all the warm and fuzzies!! It made me realize that I 100% need to read Reed and Wrens story, to get the full effect.

Harper was such a stunning character. I loved that she had fire, and spoke her mind, like a true Leo. I love Cameron's character growth in this. He was giving daddy, but also baby girl vibes and I was 100% her for it. Tucker???? How's the saying goes? Save a horse, ride a cowboy??? Ugh LOVEDDD Tucker. His comforting strength made ME feel safe. These characters just flowed so naturally and I couldn't be happier with how it ended. Also, they way they TALK HER THROUGH IT?!?!?!?! I was blushing!!!! **mind you I was reading this at work because I just couldn't put it down!**

I can't wait to read the next book in this series. It truly was a joy to read and I'm so grateful that I was able to get this ARC. Talia, girl, you have an amazing gift and I literally cant wait to read what you put out next!!

If you are a lover of, best friends brother, small town, mmf, bi-sexual awakening and forced proximity, THIS is the book for you.

Plot:5/5
Spice: 5/5 (that DVP SCENE?!?!?)

🩷 Thank you, Talia Everhart, for the ARC of this book 🩷

At the end of book one, You Found Me in the Dark, I was pretty confident I knew where the next book would be headed, with Cam and Harper as our main couple.

Surprise! Enter hot cowboy contractor, Tucker. 🤠

One of my favorite things about the Sawyers Cove series is that although our characters have depth, history, and real trauma of their own, it never feels like we're being beaten with that trauma as a reader. The stories are focused on the ✨️healing✨️ and ✨️growth✨️ the characters experience, rather than the painful parts. So they make a really great read between heavier books (dark romance fans, you know you need a break sometimes!), or just something cozy and contemporary to dissociate from the real world.

We do get all of the MC's points-of-view, which is always a plus for me. Especially when they're secretly thinking or wanting the same things, even if they haven't told each other yet. 👀

I loved the timing of the big surprise, at the end, rather than the story being centered on that. (It's one of the listed tropes, but I'm keeping this spoiler free.)

And that ending. Talia! It's kind of diabolical, in a "I know you'll fix it, bit oh my god how is that going to work out?!" kind of way. I'm trusting the process. It will be okay. But oh boy, does Sawyers Cove book 3 sound like it'll be fun!

5 ⭐ 3 🌶️

Whelp. Talia did it again. Just tore out my heart and handed it back to me like it was nothing. Cam, Tucker and Harper were the danged cutest, but also so, so broken.

The spice was a little lighter than I expected in volume, but the scenes we got were fantastic. I loved how Tucker led the way for his broken boy and broken girl—especially with Cam's bi-awakening. That check in after their first kiss? E V E R Y T H I N G. Everything, I tell you. Really hoping for an epilogue novella that's got more of these three doing dirty things to each other.

I adored Harper's journey through this story. She has such a heartbreaking past and getting knocked up really put all of that in the forefront. Her visiting her dad's grave and the events after had me close to tears and I rarely cry. The ending about broke me, especially when Dax's epilogue piled on. I'm not only excited for him and Lena, but I need more of my original five too. Whatever it may be, I am so excited for what's next.

Thank you so much to Talia for the advanced copy, I loved it!

You Found Me Broken was such a deeply moving and emotional read.

This story pulled so many feelings out of me as I followed Harper, Tucker, and Cam’s journey. Each of them is carrying their own struggles, and watching how their lives intertwine while navigating grief and personal challenges was both heartbreaking and beautiful.

Harper’s story, in particular, really stayed with me. The way her pain and healing were portrayed felt raw and genuine, and you can tell so much care was put into writing these characters and their experiences.

I absolutely loved both Cameron and Tucker—but I won’t lie… there’s just something about a cowboy that gets me every time. 🤣 What stood out most, though, was the bond the three of them share. It’s powerful, supportive, and plays such an important role in their individual healing journeys.

I only wish this story was longer because I wasn’t ready for it to end. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author.

Huge thank you to Talia and Bianca for the opportunity to read this gem early!

ARC REVIEW: YOU FOUND ME BROKEN

4 ⭐️ Congrats on your second book, Talia!

This book was about 3 lost & pining souls, truly just looking for love. Harper Rhodes has been in love with her best friend’s brother & isn’t aware he’s felt the same. She also has been crushing big on her retired-cowboy contractor who has saved her house on more than one occasion. When a storm throws all 3 of them into each other’s lives more than they’re prepared for, this triad gets on the same page REAL quick.

This book is honestly a cute read, it was quick and just about people wanting to be loved. Some big topics are talked about, but I feel they’re handled with grace. Definitely add to your TBR!

Thank you to Talia for the ARC!

This was my first read from her and oh man, I am absolutely going to be reading more! The characters were done so well, the plot was great, and I loved her the relationship played out between the three main characters. I think this is one of my favorite bi awakening stories I've ever read!

The writing was solid, everything flowed extremely well, and I was super happy with the ending (that epilogue though 😭).

Definitely recommend this time the small town romance fans, the why choice fans, and the fans of just cute romances!

ARC review, all thoughts are my own. Talia’s done it again! This book was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. I again loved the relationships and found family aspects. I definitely felt like I could relate to Cam in this book, which was nice to read. I was NOT expecting the ending but of course it just makes me even more excited for book 3. Everything Talia writes is gold, she’s one to watch for sure

Book two in the Sawyers Cove series is easy to read, with the loveliest characters. If you've read book one, you'll relate to them more, so I do recommend that.

I liked the way the relationship was explored, even though it was a bit too sweet sometimes for my liking. It totally fit the characters, so it doesn't take away from the story.

Loved the ending too, unexpected and I'm already looking forward to book three!

Thank you Talia for choosing me again as an ARC reader!

Tropes- MMF romance, best friends brother, found family, surprise pregnancy, small town, fast pace

“We were all smiling, teary-eyed, but so thrilled shit was moving fast, but we all knew what we wanted. I think it helped that & have known Harper for age and we have known Tucker for a bit, too. l am so ficking lucky the together”

I am loving the MMF books I've been reading this year and this is definitely in my top 10 cause it was so good, sometimes you just need a fast paced book with amazing writing and that will have you going through all the emotions and this was definitely it. The dynamic between everyone was fine so done so well the chemistry, banter, and spice was just chef kiss I couldn't get enough I read this book in one sitting. They all just so perfect for each other, love each other, and they just take care of each other and I loved seeing it. This is my first book from Talia and I will be reading the first one and definitely the next one after that ending.

Thank You So Much for giving me this incredible arc !💐🖤

TALIAAAA!!!

As was screamed multiple times during this read.

From Harper's strong personality to Cam's intrusive thoughts to Tucker's easygoing vibe there is so much to love about this trio. The deep bond came simply for such a complicated relationship and they were given the space and support to fully embrace this new territory. Plenty of giggles and moments of reflection with this one. I can't wait to dive in further into Sawyer's Cove
