This is my review for the first story in this anthology
My Brother's Heat By - Abigail Hunter
Having read a fair few books by this author now, I knew exactly what I'd signed up for when grabbing this book with both hands!
In true style, we dive straight into the thick of things as we meet Beck.
His heat has struck and he wasn't ready! Especially having hidden his true designation from his room-mate brother since presenting.
I love how this first chapter introduced us so well to Beck and the situation at hand.
Being such a short story it's sometimes difficult to connect with characters - but Abby always manages to pack so much in these introductions keeping us fully immersed and rooting for the characters.
It was pretty obvious how things would play out in this story, but it's always a great journey and I loved seeing the dynamics between Beck and Asher.
This is obviously going to get steamy - and pretty fast - so do be aware before starting the read.
Our story unfolds with a dual pov chapters format and I love this as we are able to really get into both our main characters minds and really see how each feels about and views the events as they happen.
This was another brilliant quick read and I can't wait to read more from Abby soon.
This was a great collection of short stories by an amazing group of authors. There were even a few delicious cliffhangers that left me wanting more. One that even has we wanting to reread the series that is is a prequel too!! Love it!!!!
This was an anthology of forbidden romance stories and each one was spicier then the last. I loved each one and can not choose which one was my favourite.
Different troupes included are:
Age gap Dads best friend Step siblings Brothers best friend Revenge
Wow super hot and spicy a lot of my favorite!!! Absolutely loved most of the stories, all but one. Win win Author Ringer really knocked it out of the park with Objection!!
I found this anthology randomly on facebook and was drawn immediately to the cover. When I saw that it was a charity book for the International League Against Epilepsy, I knew I was in. My son has epilepsy so this was close to home.
The stories in this book were all well written, some were a little out of my comfort zone, but still well written. If you're looking for a book of short, filthy stories, and are looking to help a charity, this is the book for you.
This collection of short forbidden stories was a nice read. I haven’t read an anthology before but I thought it was neat. A collaboration of different authors forbidden stories, seeing how each varied from the next, and let me tell you, they were forbidden. They were fast paced so it felt a little rushed in order to get the storyline across to readers. I just didn’t expect for some to be continued as a regular story, so that threw me a little. But other than that I thought this was a great read. Fun forbidden little short stories. They were all very interesting and one where it was to be continued I am very much so looking forward to reading more of that story.
A fun, spicy collection of stories of forbidden romances. They have different levels of spice and darkness. There are contemporary, omegaverse, alternate worlds and some that are barely romances. I will say one ended in a full-on cliffhanger, which I am not a fan of in an anthology. The rest are complete stories. My favorites are A Forbidden Step by Dani Rose, The Objection by KM Ringer, Escape into Me by Lavender Nicole, and Who Knew by A Double. I will definitly be checking out more from these Authors.
Some of the stories were so good in here. Others were hard to get into. One was almost a duplicate that spanned a little further from another anthology I read. I really enjoyed the objection where she is trying to get her father to see he’s marrying a horrible person and falling for his ex best friend. Escape into me was my favorite. They meet and have a hot one night at her mother’s wedding dinner. Years later fate throws them together again after the unthinkable happens to his little sister. She navigates them through to a happy ending.

I read this as there are a couple of authors I love and several new ones - and who doesnt love an anthology!! I didnt go for the full stars as some of the stories I just didn't gel with for a variety of reasons and this is only my opinion! Each has its own plot and main characters - and each is worthy of its entry into a book entitled Forbidden! the writing styles vary for all and while they arent linked at all, they all work well as part of this collection I would (and have) recommended it!
A Forbidden Step - Dani Rose This short story was amazing! I cannot believe how much Dani Rose has packed into it! It was truly a dark and beautiful read. It was just filled with some of my favorite things…trauma. Taboo, revenge and so much spice!! I loved everything about it. The FMC, the MMC, the story and especially the settings…IYKYK!!!! Thank you, Dani Rose, for such a beautiful short story. I am so excited and cannot wait to see what new Dani Rose books will be released next!
Forbidden Flames is a great compilation of short stories from a variety of authors. There's a bit of all kinds of forbidden love and something for just about everybody to enjoy. The frosting on the cake is that the proceeds go to the International League Against Epilepsy. Grab a copy, sit back and enjoy this smutty ride!
I absolutely enjoyed all of these short stories. They're dark, twisted and push lots of boundaries. Some really peaked my interest and have follow ups coming which I'm so excited for. The fact that this benefits a great cause is just amazing.
This collection of stories by some amazing authors has something for everybody. The variations range from MM, female dominated magical societies, BDSM, age gap, plus size, and revenge, among other tropes. I enjoyed all of the stories, but some of them are only a preview of the authors work and I am definitely going to have to read the extended versions. I especially can't wait to see what happens in Caged, by Lily B. Rose. I highly recommend reading this anthology. All of the stories are short, spicy, and will draw you in. Make sure you check the trigger warnings before each story though because some of them are intense!
