I love this world so much. And that’s definitely because I am a theme park junkie and cast member! But seriously I adore these books!

Madison has done it again!!! When Liarland first came out, I always wished for another book and WOW did she deliver!!!! Not only was the first book’s plot perfectly recapped but the plot developed so well for this book and the world! Dare I say, I loved it even more?!!!! Higher stakes. Multiple spooky season settings. The characters arcs?! It had me questioning everyone and everything right until the end which I LOVE about her books!

The Liarland world is so perfect for anyone that is a theme park fan or loves spooky reads without it being too much! And this one is perfect for the Halloween season and anyone who loves going to Halloween events in parks!

Cannot wait to see what’s up next for Madison! And always hoping for more books in this series of course! Until the next book announcement, I will be telling everyone I know to read her books cause she’s a genius and just the coolest!🗣️👻🎠👏🏼

This is the 2nd book in the LiarLand series. It is a YA thriller with twists, romance, and suspense. It also takes place in a theme park!

Gwen thought working at Pineland’s Halloween event would be perfectly fine and safe, until a stranger approaches her with a terrifying challenge.
They said “You know me. You know who I’m going to kill next. Catch me if you can or enjoy the show.”
Now Gwen can’t stop wondering who it could be. It could be anyone. As she starts digging deeper, she realizes everyone has secrets, and certain people can’t be trusted. Even those closest to her begin to look suspicious.
One way or another, Gwen is going to figure this out.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the first one so much! This book hooked me right from the beginning! It definitely keeps you guessing.

This was a decent follow up to the first installment, but it didn't meet the spotlight of it!

It felt like Scream met up with the concept of the first book and made a love child. It follows Gwen six months after the events of Liar Land and the team is back at trying to decode another mysterious death. The premise for this one didn't keep me involved like the first book and I wish that there would have been more depth to the storyline, but it wasn't terrible. A lot of the plot felt too obvious for me, but I suppose that is normal with the young adult thriller genre. Overall, it was a good book, but I don't know that I would dive back in.

I read the majority of it in one sitting, something I do maybe once a year - if that - so this obviously compelled me! Like the first book, I think the ending reveal is a bit contrived; but in its execution, and in most other parts of the story, Rupp has clearly improved as an author. I’m so excited to see what she writes next.

Purchased at Writer’s Block Bookstore in Winter Garden, FL, the same place (and on the day of the same event, the town Christmas golf cart parade) that I purchased book 1 last year 🥰❤️

Both book 1 - Liar Land and this one were ok. I felt this book drag more and it took me days to finish it. I even skimmed the last few chapters because I couldn't take the back and forth indecision of the main character. She actually annoyed me in this book. Maybe it was my mood, IDK just didn't care of the duology. Maybe its better for teens (even though I enjoy YA).

Lair go round and round

I dare say I liked this book better than liarland. I love that despite all the odds our main couple made it out stronger. I loved how that stacks were uped in this book compared to the first. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat through the whole book! The twist that kept coming had my head spinning round and round. Ugh liars!

It’s good for the spooky vibes but resolution and motivation of some of the characters need work. Also the narrators constant inner monologue got redundant and felt like she was over justifying her thought process. Still support an Orlando girly but this didn’t hit as much

Scream 2.0

It feels very much like a Scream do over. The first one was good and had an interesting concept but this one just felt like... Meh. Imo it didn't need to be a duology, I hope there isn't another one.

Good spooky season vibes, but the characters fell short for me. The narrator got so repetitive and kind of annoying.

Fun read

If you enjoy theme parks, Halloween, true crime and crazy teenagers, you've found your book. I enjoyed this one even more than the first Liarland. Some good twists.
