Geoffrey Budworth co-founded the International Guild of Knot Tyers in 1982 and regularly contributes to its quarterly journal, Knotting Matters. He’s been described as “the father of forensic knotting” and occasionally gives evidence in court as an expert witness of knots found at crime scenes. Budworth is a well-known personality and author in the world of knots.
Good beginner book. learned a few things. Some of the knots were tied unnecessarily complicated but let's face it were learning to tie something three dimensional from a two dimensional book. You tie, then tie again and eventually learn how to tie it your own way anyway.
Good book for beginner to intermediate knot tiers I think. :-)
This book was really fun. I picked this up thinking it would be fun to find a craft to do with my scouts. The book has a wide range of patterns at varying difficulty levels.
