Have you ever wondered what happens when we die? Where do we go? Are we greeted by our loved ones? Is there life after death? Is there a heaven? When Sarina Baptista’s seven-year-old son, J.T., caught the flu and passed away in March 2007, she had many questions about Heaven. Why did he have to leave? Where is he now? Is this all there is? On a mission to find her son again, Sarina researched the afterlife from every angle. She knew her son was somewhere, but where? Six months after J.T.’s passing, Sarina discovered she was a medium. Through training and determination, she had found her son and could communicate with him! The stories he told of his experiences were beyond this world. He shared with her the secrets of Heaven and how to live a life of purpose on Earth. My View from Heaven is about a little boy’s journey to the other side, how he found Heaven, why he had to leave and what he is doing now. You will never look at your life, or death, the same.
Losing a child is one of the most horrific experiences a parent can ever go through. Losing my beloved, Brian to suicide in February 2018 has been a journey of discovering myself and why I and my family had to go through the intense pain. In my search I stumbled upon Sarina’s book. I had my son for almost 34 years, my heart went out to her and her family in losing JT so young. However, in my quest for answers I too learned about the soul, where we go, our contracts and how to talk to our loved ones. Thank you, Sarina for writing your book. I have found so many similarities to what I’ve experienced since losing my beloved son! Janet Dubrasky
I've studied NDE experiences quite extensively and much of what is said in this book just doesn't fit in with the actual reality of afterlife. This book seems more like what this boy's mother thinks what it should be like rather than what it actually is. As such, the things said in this book are more her own personal beliefs than anything else... even if she has convinced herself otherwise.
Much of what was said in this book simply didn't ring true. It didn't feel right. God is much more a part of each of our lives and has higher purposes for us than this book acknowledges. That's a simple fact and quite a primary part of our very existence. Missing that fundamental fact makes this story seem more contrived than anything else and seemed quite hollow.
There are much better books on this subject available. I honestly would not recommend this particular book to anyone else.
A book that answers most of lifes' questions about our earthly lives and the `other side'. Reassuringly comforting for the bereaved (especially those whose children have passed over), those terminally ill and the elderly. Written in a light easy to understand sympathetic, compassionate, conversational style, it is easy to assimilate the explanations and answers given. Without any religious bias it gives thorough coverage of most aspects of heaven, our soul selves and earthly purpose.
I did not find it in this book, although there are reasons for blind belief. It was a tad too religious for me, but it would be pure sacrilege for others. It wasn't so religious that I quit reading, and it did offer other options for translation that were nonreligious. My thinking has been atheistic, for lack of scientific proof of a god, but I really hope there's an after life of some sort and for whatever reason. There's a lot of dogs and a few people that I'd like to see again. This book is worth the read and offers food for thought.
