In a world changing faster than ever, adaptability is no longer optional—it’s your greatest advantage.

Whether you're navigating a career pivot, leading a team through transformation, or simply trying to stay grounded in uncertain times, Future Proof offers a powerful roadmap to build what author Daphne S. Leger calls “changeability”—the skillset that allows you to not only survive change, but thrive through it.

With a blend of psychological insight, real-world case studies, and actionable tools, this book goes beyond inspiration. It gives you a step-by-step system rooted in four

Map the Reaction – Understand the initial response to change.
Recalibrate the Equation – Shift mindsets to embrace change.
Anticipate the Transition – Prepare for the “messy middle” of change.
Iterate to Success – Move forward through experimentation and growth.

Through stories, exercises, and practical frameworks, you’ll learn how to reframe resistance, manage uncertainty, and lead yourself—and others—through constant reinvention.

“Change isn’t something to fear. It’s something to train for.”

Whether you're a leader, entrepreneur, or someone navigating a personal transition, Future Proof will help you unlock your ability to adapt, evolve, and future-proof your life.

Start building your changeability today. Your future is waiting on the other side of change.

I picked this up expecting another dry book on adaptability.
What I got instead was something that felt deeply personal—like having coffee with someone who had the most crazy adventures and met the most random and cool people and have a tons of stories and lessons to share.
Most change books give you theory OR inspiration OR tactics. Daphne somehow weaves all three together seamlessly. She backs up concepts with actual neuroscience, then immediately shows you what it looks like in real life—through her own raw stories and interviews with everyone from blind alpinists to Fortune 500 CEOs to eight-year-old kids navigating major transitions. And don’t even get me started on the snake hunter interview—I won’t spoil it, but that conversation alone is worth the read.

This isn’t some superhuman telling you to “just adapt.” It’s someone showing you that adaptability is a skill you can practice, even when—especially when—you’re terrified. And that actually tells you HOW.

It’s an actual manual, a workbook where you can take notes and scribble in it, and come back to every time you’re going through any kind of change in your life.

Don’t wait to read this. Your future self will thank you.

Love how easy and practical was to realize my relationship with change. The stories help me realize that is normal to be scared of change, but mostly that there's another way to relate to it and even take advante of it.
Recommended if you feel stuck or if you know that you need a change but continue finding excuses (that was me hehe). Perfect to stop drama around change.
