Many of us lived previous lives as keepers of sacred knowledge that was taught in the ancient mystery schools. Much of this knowledge was lost through time due to disasters and destruction or death.
The knowledge was reserved for a select few who devoted their lives to understanding and teaching it. Down through countless centuries this knowledge was protected, those with the knowledge often died rather than let it fall into the wrong hands.
Now it is no longer reserved strictly for oracles in temples, hermits in caves, or the wise few cloistered in secret mystery schools. It is returning to our time and is now available for all to learn.
In Dolores Cannon's last book she continues the story begun in two of her previous works, Keepers of the Garden and The Custodians.
Dolores Cannon (1931 - 2014) was a self described "past-life regressionist" and hypnotherapist who specialized in the "recovery and cataloging" of "Lost Knowledge". Her roots in hypnosis went back to the 1960s, and she was specializing in past-life therapy since 1979.
Dolores became, perhaps, the world's most unlikely expert on the prophecies of Nostradamus. A retired Navy wife from Huntsville, AR, USA, Dolores was nearly fifty years old when she began experimenting with hypnosis and past-life regression. The results were, to say the least, quite spectacular!
Working through several different subjects, Dolores was able to establish communication with the living Michel De Notredame, better known as the prophet Nostradamus. His revelations and their impact on our own time are both fascinating and at times frightening.
Dolores has written the three volume set "Conversations With Nostradamus", the series on the translation of Nostradamus' quatrains. This series contains the translation of almost 1000 prophecies, all interpreted for the first time and have been in print since 1989. It is considered the most accurate interpretation of the prophecies ever printed.
Dolores has been a UFO investigator for twenty years, using her skills as a regressionist to help people that had been involved in abduction cases. She has written several books on the UFO information volunteers have revealed while under hypnosis.
Her unique technique of hypnosis is being taught all over the world via the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy.
Dolores has written 17 books about her research in hypnosis and UFO cases. Her books are translated into over 20 languages. She founded her own publishing company, Ozark Mountain Publishing, in 1992.
Dolores has toured in the USA, England, Europe, the former Soviet bloc countries, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia to promote her works, and to discuss her particular brand of psychic research. She has spoken to radio and television audiences worldwide. She has given lectures at such locations as: Whole Life Expos in Los Angeles, New York and San Diego; Global Science Congress; various A.R.E. Edgar Cayce Foundations; Conscious Living Expo and MBS Expo in Australia; The College of Psychic Studies in London, England; The Theosophical Society in London, England; as well as many other organizations. Dolores was the first American and the first foreigner to receive the "Orpheus Award" in Bulgaria, for the highest advancement in the research of psychic phenomena.
Articles by/about Dolores have appeared in several magazines including: "Body, Mind and Spirit"; "Magical Blend"; "Connecting Link"; "Kindred Spirit" (an England magazine); "People Magazine" (an Australian magazine); "Conscious Living Magazine" (an Australian magazine); "After Dark" (the Art Bell magazine); "The Unknown Magazine"; "The Washington Post"; and "New York Times". Also magazines and newspapers in Russia, Spain, South America, Bulgaria, Japan and Arab countries.
Dolores appeared on various TV specials including "A Current Affair" (in Australia); BBC Documentary Series "Divine Magic"; "Ancient Mysteries of the World" (a two hour special on CBS); "Ancient Prophecies I and Ancient Prophecies II" (two hour specials on NBC); "Encounters" ( a one hour special on FOX network); "Good Day LA" (in California); "Mysteries, Magic and Miracles" (the Sci-Fi Channel); "Marilu Talk Show" (ABC); "Biography" (series on A&E Channel); "America After Hours" (CNBC); "CNN International Entertainment News".
She has spoken on over 1000 radio shows including Art Bell’s Dreamland, George Noory’s Coast to Coast, and Shirley MacLaine, plus speaking at innumerable conferences worldwide. In addition she had her own weekly radio show, the Metaphysical Hour, on BBS Radio for nine years.
I never thought I would read a book so darn fast! This is my first Dolores Cannon book. This book has expanded my mind as to who we are as spiritual beings. Looking forward to reading more of her books.
You have to have an open mind and perhaps have been exploring these areas before, or this book will be too "far out there". I enjoyed it very much. It brought me some comfort for the future of our planet and our enlightenment. I take comfort in knowing we have help and support from other galaxies and planets. I believe it. Why would we ever consider ourselves the only planet in a Universe that goes on forever? Why would we ever think we are the only living beings out there? I take comfort in it, and I'm fascinated with the idea of other civilizations.
One person was frustrated that he couldn't find any sacred knowledge in the book, however, it is through out the book. It's in the stories of past lives. You have to pay attention, there is all kinds of hidden information through out the book, just mixed in with the past lives and the SC's advice for the future. It won't just be handed to you.
My understanding is that Dolores Cannon was well respected in her field. She wasn't doing this for fame or money. She drew a following by word of mouth and only those interested and able to believe and understand. I will be reading more of her books to understand this wonderful, magical Universe.
I was disappointed that after reading the whole book of The Search For Hidden Sacred Knowledge there was no actual Sacred Knowledge revealed. A discussion of past lives and the importance of retaining this knowledge is fine but a real opportunity was missed when discussing the subject of this so called important knowledge with folks under hypnosis.
This is a book by American writer and hypnotherapist Dolores Cannon. It documents a series of dialogues with clients who are encouraged to explore their past lives through hypnotic regression. I’ve had my own experiences with hypnosis in my training as a psychologist, so I’m open-minded on the topic, even if it seems a little weird. If it’s presented well, it might have something interesting or even insightful to say. There are some ideas I’d heard before, such as beings of light, travel at the speed of thought and life after death on other planets and in other dimensions. Here it’s superficial and lacking in detail, but still conceptually fascinating.
Unfortunately the author loses all credibility when she starts talking about things that are demonstrably false. She says extraterrestrials played a key role in the development of life on Earth, even though there is no archaeological evidence for it. She claims some of her clients had lived on the fictional continents of Atlantis and Lemuria, that humans were alive at the time of the dinosaurs, and that planet Earth is made entirely of crystals. The dialogues are all much the same, babbling on about vague experiences teaching or collating unspecified information in unnamed locations that always strongly resemble medieval European villages, or ancient Greece, Rome, or Egypt – images from the history of western culture. No Asian, African, Oceanic or completely new cultures exist in this vision at all. There is an occasional mention of highly advanced technology but it’s nothing I haven’t seen before from years of reading science fiction in my youth.
The text provides no definitions for its esoteric references and would have been hard to follow if I wasn’t already knowledgeable in this field. Ms Cannon constantly advertises her other books throughout, which comes across as vain and self-aggrandizing rather than a helpful reference to additional sources of information. She even has the temerity to inject political opinion into the text, with the spirit beings she communicates with dismissing Bush No. 2 as terrible and praising Obama like a saint, in a clear reflection of American politics at the time of publication. Considering the depth of corruption in human political systems, I doubt spirits would be showing their support for any Earthly president.
I read this book because I hadn’t heard of the author before, and I thought she might have something new to say. I’m afraid she didn’t introduce any concepts I hadn’t heard already, and has repeated many of the old tropes of the New Age hucksters without anything substantial to back it up. She doesn’t reveal any hidden sacred knowledge, and in that respect stays true to her title: the search is still on by the end. If this is reflective of her output, I don’t think I will be reading any more of her work.
Healing through hypnosis and being enlightened in a book
When I found this book, I was very excited. I have not read any other Dolores Cannon books, but I have seen many of her videos on YouTube and know of her theories and I am very impressed with the amount of healing she can do with her hypnotic therapy. This book did not disappoint.
To be brief, the format Dolores Cannon uses is that of a transcript of hypnotherapy sessions. She starts this book with several cases that highlight other dimensions, higher knowledge, healing, etc. She then moves to Lemuria, then Atlantis, then Pompeii, Stonehenge, and finally Mary Magdalene (spouse of Jesus, or Yeshua). It all is very interesting, but to me, and what I take with me, is that there is so much healing that can be done with her Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique. Yes, there is lots of sacred hidden knowledge in her book, but also lots of healing.
"Knowledge that people died for in other time periods is now readily available..." I enjoyed reading the descriptions of strange worlds that once existed, such as Isis, Babylon, ancient Egypt, people with unusual powers, and so on. Is it true? The subjects were not making it up, but it is difficult to imagine what these other earth worlds were like. If it is not true, these accounts give reasons for the old temples and mysteries of earth.
I have become an avid reader of the books put together by Dolores Cannon and this one is an exceptional read. It is a book that has sat on my book shelf for around 18 months, patiently waiting until the time came for me to be pulled by the calling of its pages. There are many resonating truths among the pages for me. Many of the insights confirm my own OBE's.
I've read several other Dolores Cannon books and found them quite fascinating, but this one was difficult. I found very little of substance, just a lot of past life confusion and stuff that sounds a lot like science fiction. Search for knowledge? What knowledge? What is the knowledge that they spoke of? Just move along folks. Nothing to see here.
I love it!
Although regressive hypnosis seems to have its merit in certain specialized modes of operation, but I think at least 90% of these tales are just products of activated imagination, maybe even all of it. Why does everyone have to be a priest of Atlantis, or a librarian of Alexandria? Why are none of these cases just boring farmers tilling the field, or pottery makers etc. Chances are if the persons soul has accumulated all these lives over time, there would be more of that than anything to do with royalty. Another problem I have is the people coming in for the case study are completely unknown to the reader, we have no idea of their intentions or imaginative dispositions, or any hint of royal bloodline descendants. For all I know they're just people bored with their own lives who need some sort of excitement so they go to pay a regressive therapist who teaches them to active their creative mind, which is all well and good for them but I don't see much value in that sort of work as a reader and researcher.
it embarks you on a journey to a parallel reality of our very well history of humankind. parallel cause it's not a view that normal people we have shared but it's time to fully live in knowledge and wisdom of our world, and beyond. it's time to move out from our comfort zone and explore within the hidden parts of our consciousness. Dolores is one of the path makers of our time. it's time to walk this path, the path of these new times that are coming. The new Earth
Great, expanding consciousness book! If you want to get it cheap the complete collection of all Dolores Cannon ebooks is available on Ebay UK and Ebay US.
As much as I was eager to learn something new from this book, it left me disappointed when all I found was a series of stories in which Dolores Cannon narrates her experiences with her hypnotized interviewers. What they said under hypnosis did not sound like new information.
Dolores' last book. Just enough to see through, not enough to be certain. Leaves you wanting to know more. Let a personal journey begin. Think for yourself, it is all available to you if you want it.
here's my problem with dolores. if all those "sc's"/collective/whatever you wanna call them are sharing hidden sacred knowledge, then how come no one ever mentioned buddhism? why is it always about jesus? jesus was hardly the only awakened being in history. there are many other people of different religions who were highly awakened as well. and buddhism is the only philosophy that actually teaches how to see the ultimate reality and experience oneness with all. many many times it's always about jesus' "secret teachings". but no one is able to mention what exactly those "secret teachings" are - even in the case of one lady, she and her posse were taught and assigned keepers of the "secret teachings". she even said jesus visited their posse after he died and then went back "to his father". if jesus was enlightened he'd go back to the source. not "his father" - that is an answer slanted towards religion. it's total catholic crap. so are you saying people of other religions or no religion are all hopeless and doomed coz jesus is the only way? also fyi, many people have connected to the source via entheogens, and let me tell you, it has nothing to do with "jesus".
she also keeps talking about stopping karma and not making new karma. there is no "stopping karma" even if you become enlightened tomorrow all your accumulated karma from this life and the past will still come to fruition. the only difference is when you're awakened you are able to stop accruing them. her solution to this is "love" in a way yes that would help, but it wouldn't really solve the issue. it's like your basement is flooded and the water is your karma. love = bucket, you can use to scoop water out of your basement. in the meantime your pipes are still leaking water so the flood's never going to end. practicing a meditation technique that actually leads you to see the ultimate reality = of sealing the leaky pipes.
so basically, i'm not buying all of her "secret knowledge" because it's quite biased and never touches on the real answers. learning how to use crystals and manipulating energy does not equate to ending dukkha, craving, aversion. and i just find it really really hard to believe that she never interviewed anyone who had this knowledge seeing as buddhist philosophies isn't exactly hard to come across. the only reason i'm looking into dolores is it's not easy to communicate with source outside of entheogens. reaching some form of dhyana/samadhi via old school meditation is hard so i was looking at other alternative options. but i'm not sure this hypnosis thing is even real when the info that comes through is so tainted by religion.
I loved, loved this book—it’s my favorite so far! I enjoyed every moment of reading it. There's so much depth and wisdom packed into its pages; it truly opened my mind and heart in new ways.
The book is full of incredible knowledge—about ancient healing practices, sacred practices, and our deep, often forgotten connection to the universe. It explores our ties with beings from other planets, our hidden powers, and the vast potential that lies within each of us.
Reading this felt like remembering something I’ve always known deep inside. It’s not just information—it’s sacred truth that awakens something within. If you’re curious about spirituality, healing, or the mysteries of existence, this book is a must-read.
I thought that novel was going to be something different, and read through to realise that this is not for me. However, I gave it 5 stars, because it is still a good read. I am "into" the Akashic records. When I need to seriously meditate this is where I go. This is what I thought this book was about. Its not really.
Its more about past life readings, and while I am fan of that. I was duped by the cover, lol. I literally judged what the book was about, by it's cover. It really is a fascinating read. Its just not where I am at, but still a good book.
If you are spiritual like myself, you will get when I write that this book is just not part of my journey.
4.5/5 No hidden knowledge was given but only that they exist. No surgeries, no drugs. Ch.24 re Mary Magdalene was interesting. There were certainly some inconsistencies wrt the SC: 1- there is supposed to be non-intervention wrt free will, but the SC said, we had to take away her voice (bc she wasn’t supposed to be an opera singer) -that was intervention. 2- there are no accidents, but the girl who became crippled and went to the convent had an accident that was not planned. That seems unlikely that the girl did not know this would happen in her life.

You've never seen history presented in this way!!!
This is my first Delores Cannon book and I am awestruck at her ability to break through the left brain and tap straight into what she calls the SC (subconscious). The information she gathers from these clients is WILD.
It's all there, in our DNA. The sacred knowledge isn't hidden. It's in us.
I don't think I've ever gobbled a book so quickly. Off to find my next one!
Fascinating book, as always: lots of interesting stories but did not reveal as much hidden sacred knowledge as the title would suggest. Great information and tidbits of that lost knowledge but not as cohesively put together. Lots of details about the clients being regressed that feels as though it takes away from the flow of information, rather than adding to the knowledge. Wouldn't start with this book if you're curious about Dolores Cannons writing and work.
What a crock of you-know-what! This book is written so poorly it comes across like a failed science fiction writer with their head up their butt just wrote down anything and sent it to press. It frightens me that so many people found this book so enlightening. How this woman is considered a 'rock star' of past life regression is beyond me! I am going to attempt some of her earlier works and see what's there. My gracious! Just an embarrassingly badly written book!
This book tells us about many people who have had former lives were they have been hiding some sort of knowledge. Be it them alone or as a part of a group. Now that is all good and dandy but what I was hoping for was getting some insights in to this hidden knowledge. But from that field there was nothing. So to me a bit of a disappointment but I did how ever enjoy the book.
I read all of Dolorises books and will continuing reading them over and over. I find this hidden and sacred knowledge fascinating and in my other info it draws parallel. Read/ follow Dr. Steven Greer or David Wilcock (Youtube/ Amazon prime, CE-5/ Cosmic Secret.)
Highly recommend!!! There's so much that resonates and much more to discover! All in time. Sad in ways to know this was the "end" to Delores canons knowledge and experience but can't wait for what's to come! This information is the key to us finding our way and being able to live the way we should. Love and light everyone!
This was such a cool book, i thoroughly enjoy these types of books and will likely read more of her works. I listened to a audiobook, so i feel like i would prefer to just read a book like this perhaps. The reader of journey of souls was much more engaging and this one her voice slightly annoyed me lol
Awesome book! Dolores never disappoints! Past life regression, healing, ufo’s, it’s all in this book. I wish I would have met her or taken at least one of her classes before she transitioned.
A compendium of regressions tackling the purpose of people's lives through service and healing humanity. Very interesting parts about Atlantis and crystals at the end but I'm missing the cohesive quality of storytelling in her earlier books. Still priceless knowledge!
