I loved the cartel aspect of this one!
Harper and Sergei.
Harper dips her toe into something exciting, dangerous and WAY out of her league.
Sergei is supposed to hunt well her.. because she stole..? WTF
She gets under his skin.. he shows her a new way of life.. together they rule their worlds..
ALSO THE END!!!!! omg so good!

Great book!!
This book sucked me in and didn't let me go. Southern woman meets cartel boss and the rest is history. I love the wriing style, the descriptions made me feel like I was watching a movie. Had goosebumps throughout. I liked the fact that the FMC was a strong, smart, independent woman and the man she met meets her right where she is because he sees her for who she is. Cant wait for the next boo in this series!

Great job for a debut author. The plot was great. It gave me Good Girls meets Robin Hood meets Beth from Yellowstones vibes. And I’m here for it. If you like cartel romance with a strong country girl fmc, this one’s for you. Chapters are a bit short, but the pace is good. I’d rate 4.5 overall, and round up to a 5 star.

Mafia readers, this one was GREAT! I got hooked early and read it fast. The short chapters made it feel like you are getting somewhere but they went somewhere too.
I really liked how the FMC evolved and was a total badass. I liked the relationships and how things connected. I would love to read more to this series and see how the empire evolves! I will be watching for book two for sure!
