Daddy's Girl #3

Poor Little Daddy's Girl

Rate this book
Twenty-four-year-old Charmaine Bainbridge appears to have it all—beauty, fame, and tremendous wealth—yet behind all the glitz and glamor hides a sad little girl who has been abandoned by every man she’s ever loved.

When firefighter Hunter Baldwin saves Charmaine from a fire in her penthouse apartment—a blaze started by her own carelessness—he’s appalled by her nonchalant attitude. Forced to carry her to safety, he throws her over his shoulder, but not before correcting her behavior with a well-deserved spanking. Something about Charmaine arouses him deeply, and it isn’t just her gorgeous looks. This girl needs to be firmly corrected and thoroughly dominated, and a part of Hunter demands that he be the one to take her in hand.

Though he’s used to charging into burning buildings on a daily basis, Hunter knows taming Charmaine’s wild ways may prove to be his greatest challenge yet. Undeterred, he takes on the role of Charmaine’s daddy dom in hopes of breaking down her defenses and healing her wounds. But can she bring herself to open her heart to him, or will she remain the lonely little rich girl forever?

Normandie contacted me to read this book because of the MC being called "kitten".. she knew that I wouldn't be able to resist that! She was right!

I snapped this book up and devoured it!

Charmaine is the spoiled, bratty, little rich girl, and Hunter is the level headed, hard working, middle class, (and oooh so sexy), fireman. They meet, when Charmaine sents her kitchen on fire due to neglect, and Hunter is the fireman that comes to her rescue.

Hunter is not impressed with antics and her lackadaisical attitude about things. He sees that she is a woman that needs to be taken firmly in hand, and it's his hand that he'd like to firmly take her in!

Charmaine is a little girl looking for a Daddy Dom. She likes to be the brat, whether it's just her personality, her need for attention, or both, not even she is sure.
"She could manipulate most men into doing whatever she wanted. But Hunter was different. She respected Him too much to try to manipulate him, at least not very often."

When Hunter and Charmaine come together, there are lessons for both of them to learn. But, can their relationship survive these lessons? Can Charmaine really be with someone without money? Someone that won't stand for her brattiness? Can Hunter learn to not be judgemental about people with money? Can he tame the tiger that is Charmaine? But most importantly, can they both learn to love again after a past of heartache?

This book is well written and a page turner. And the sex is hot, Hot, HOT!

I don't normally read Daddy/babygirl stories, but this is twice now that I've read them by Normandie Alleman. There isn't a lot of age play, but you get the point that they are Daddy and babygirl without it. Ms. Alleman writes about the lifestyle, of which I'm a part, with respect and well researched stories.

Some of my favorite lines from this book:

"Yeah, you're a tiger most of the time, but when I tame you, you turn in to the most adorable little kitten."

And my favorite.. mainly because I've heard it said to me before by my own Sir. *winks*

"Relax, Kitten. You know it will go easier if you do."

Thank you, Normandie for allowing me to read this book for you.

Right where do I begin apart from saying THANK YOU NORMANDIE!!! she kindly provided this ARC for a good honest review and she know's she will always get the truth from my mouth :D

So let me begin my review of this deliciously hot addictive read and I mean bloody hell this shit is smoking hot that even I felt like fanning myself hehe
I've always said that Daddy's Game by Normandie was my go to for a naughty read and that it was my favourite but Natron and Carmen...you gotta go!! Because there is a new couple in town and they are taking over everything!

In this book we have the very 'oh god lord' sexy Hunter, he is a firefighter we met in Daddy's game and he is also the big sexy hero who saved Charmaine after she was a very careless naughty girl!! I will continue about Hunter but first
can I just put in here that I love a smoking hot dirty talking alpha and when I read
“You want to be a little whore?” … “Then you be Daddy’s little whore. No one else’s.”
that just made me feel description this book had me at start to finish and it's my favourite one now because these two made me laugh and made me blush and the toys they used were freaking amaze-balls.

Here is my Hunter description he is the firefighter with a taste for dominance in the bedroom, but never found someone who he could be his true self with but he is also kind and funny, he is someone you can trust and he would never lead you down the wrong path. Along with all of that is his mouth is like a sailor at sea hehe he is a very crude talking dirty man!!

Here is my Charmaine description she is a rich spoilt party girl who mainly loves to drink and do all the wrong things for herself but her love for her close friends is lovely to read, she cares so deeply for them and that is enough to call family but she is missing out on one thing and that is companionship!
I wasn't a big fan of her in Daddy Morebucks but in this one I loved her, now I know what's happened and reading her thoughts and feelings, I've seen her in a different light and I think she should get all the happiness in the world.

All in all, this is a great read for anyone who has all different kinks up their alley, Normandie done it again and wrote a brilliant book and one that will be my go to. I can't wait to read more by her.

I received a copy from the author, as a member of the BDSM Group, in exchange for an honest review.

This book is difficult for me to review but I will try my best.
NB: I have not read any of the prior books in this series.

Firstly, the story was well written and followed a clear plot line. The characters were well developed and stayed true to their personalities throughout the story.

Charmaine was spoiled, rich, and apparently shallow. Thankfully we got glimpses of who she really was quite early on, so she was likable, even with the bratty, rich-girl persona. Naive, inexperienced, unaware, would sum up her behavioural patterns. She hid her true self well for a while.

Hunter is a firefighter..... is there really anything else we need to know? His personality fit what I would expect from a firefighter. Responsible, smart, reliable, and a little bit wicked. I really liked him, and thought he was a perfect fit for Charmaine. Someone to teach her that there is more to life than parties, and shopping.

The issues I had with this story.... I was expecting age-play and there was none. Sure, Hunter liked being called Daddy and Charmaine liked calling him Daddy (a lot), but that is the extent of the DD/lg experience (he called her Kitten!!!!) With how Charmaine behaved there was HEAPS of material that could have been used in a role play situation (even non-sexual role-play), or even expanded on her 'discipline' but there wasn't. So I was disappointed.

I don't know if I was expecting too much from the title and the blurb. I mean there wasn't a specific warning that this would have age-play, but given the use of terms "Daddy Dom" and "little girl", and my prior experience with this sub-genre, I didn't think it was an unreasonable expectation.

Nevertheless, the story was sexy, sweet, and enjoyable. If you are not looking for age-play but think the term Daddy is sexy in the bedroom, and you enjoy bdsm-lite play, this is a great gateway story.

Until reading this book, I completely forgot about Charmaine and Carmen burning Natrons things. I thought is was awesome to see parts of the other books in this one! Um, to say that Hunter was hot would be an understatement. The man was smoking, on fire and yes, those puns are intended. There's something about a fireman that drives me wild.
I found it adorable how opposite of each other Hunter and Charmaine were. But I felt they complimented each other well. Charmaine truly does need a Daddy. She's out of control and her life is falling apart. Can Hunter get her in line? Mmm, you'll have to read to find out, but let's just say, make sure you have something ice cold to drink nearby. This is one sexy story.

This is my favorite of the Daddy's Girls books. Charmaine is as naughty as they come, and Hunter is a real everyday hero - plus he's incredibly sexy. When these two come together the fireworks are off the chain!

Gosh. Can I just say this book is a major turn on! Doesn't help that it's dd/lg, such a sinful pleasure! If you are into the whole being punished kink, then this book is definitely right for you! The sexy factor and dirty talking in this book is off the charts!

"You're nice and wet. That's a good girl," he said stroking her waist with his other hand.

His praise warmed her insides and she shivered with pleasure at his words. "And do you know what good girls get?"

"A good fucking."

I enjoyed that first half of the book immensely but it kinda went downhill towards the second half. I enjoyed how they met and how Hunter spanked her the very first meeting but I get that we are all humans and mistakes can't be avoided but...it just made him seem less appealing to me. Charmaine was pretty okay and quite relatable though nothing really made her stick. She was a lil too bratty for my tastes though it often leads to very very hot steam.

When they reached the bottom, he had the strangest urge not to take her outside, but to trap her against the wall and press his lips hard to hers. Invade that sassy little mouth with his tongue and squeeze her breast hard enough to make her flinch.

I'm into the whole sassy/bratty thing but have that scene being repeated over and over and over again throughout the book can get a little flat and boring :P Overall, still a panty-wetting read though!

Pouting prettily, she said, "I love your place but...your little kitten has needs."

This made him chuckle. "You have needs, huh? Well, right now, you need to stop talking and let me fuck you senseless."

He touched a warning finger to her lips and she widened her eyes to show she was complicit with his plan. They hurriedly dispensed with the rest of their clothes and he picked her up and tossed her on the new sofa. "Need to christen this anyway," he teased.

She nodded, wide eyed, showing great restraint by not saying anything - just like Daddy asked.

Charmaine is a spoiled rotten princess that thinks only of herself. Hunter is a firefighter that has had a bad experience with a spoiled rotten princess. When Charmaine sets her penthouse apartment on fire, it is up to Hunter to rescue her. After Hunter spanks her on the way down, Charmaine thinks he would make the perfect Daddy Dom for her.

I waivered between 3 and 3.5 stars, before finally settling on 3.5 stars. The story was fairly well written and well edited. I just found both character to be somewhat unlikeable. Charmaine was over the top spoiled and Hunter could be a real jerk at times. In some stories unlikeable characters make the story, in a light hearted story like this I felt it took away from the story.

I received this story from the author through the BDSM group on Goodreads.

I was looking forward to reading this book. I don't mind a bit of kink and BDSM but this wasn't terribly well done kink. I found the motives of the characters confusing and it just didn't sit right with me..

I also didn't particularly like the characters. Charmaine was awful. I didn't find anything redeeming in her character at all. Hunter was a bit more likeable but he was a flat one dimensional character as well. By about half way through the book I really didn't care about either of them.

On the positive side Ms Alleman's writing style is easy to read although there were a few little grammatical errors.

All in all a fairly forgettable read for me.

Poor Little Daddy's Girl by Normandie Alleman is a book I have been waiting for. I’m such a fan of this series. The first two books were great fun, but this one may be my favorite. Hunter was such an incredible hero, saving Charmaine, first from the fire, then from herself. He took my breath away. The BDSM in this book was a bit heavier than in the first two, but it suited the intensity of this couple. Now, I am looking forward to book four. Don’t make us wait too long, Normandie!

You ever read a book where half the time you're wondering why you're reading it and the other half you're so infatuated with it and the characters? This was it for me. There were some parts I seriously questioned but I loved it overall. Their dynamic is so unique yet perfect for them. I love how different they are, even their statuses in life, yet they work so well together. Hunter is so bossy and dominant, they way he tames Charmaine is amazing. He doesn't change her or naything, he just makes her safer to herself. If anyone needed a daddy figure in their life, it's her.

~~~~~~~~~~Sharlene's ★★★☆☆ Review~~~~~~~~~~
This is the third installment of The Daddy's Girl series. Hunter and Charmaine were introduced in previous books but are the main couple in this one. You still get to see some of the characters from the other titles as well. The multiple POV is always a popular one for me. I feel like I get more insight into both of the characters that way. The author does not disappoint with her scene and character descriptions. I did feel like I was right there with them on several occasions. Although sometimes wish I wasn't as I am not a true BDSM fan. That being said, the author does tell a very good story. I wanted to smack Hunter for the humiliation he put Charmaine through. But Charmaine is the typical spoiled, bratty rich kid so maybe she needed it a little bit. The two definitely have their work cut out for them in this relationship. Although this is part of a series, it is a stand alone and does have an HEA.
~~~~~~~~~~Michelle's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~~

WOW….JUST…HOLY AMAZABALLS…..BEST ONE IN THE SERIES. I just don’t know where to start….maybe the beginning…..maybe I should start backwards from the end…..Aw hell…..the middle was delicious. In fact, the whole series was yummy but Poor Little Daddy’s Girl is my favorite.

Charmaine is the spoiled little rich girl and Hunter is the sexy dominating firefighter (swoon). Reading about spoiled rich girls who are “saved” by the Alpha male can get boring and repetitive but let me tell you……This book is not the case. It’s hot, seductive, steamy and down right scrumptious.

Again, Alleman’s writing is phenomenal and she does an excellent job in keeping the book flowing nicely. You must 1-click this as well as Book 1 & 2.

Thank you Ms. Alleman for creating suck amazing stories - I will forever be a fan of hers!

~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~~
This third book is the story of the journey to love by Charmaine and Hunter. Like the previous two books, it is filled with adventures that keep the reader enthralled. Two people from two different worlds with hangups from their past experiences struggle to build a fresh, new relationship. Hunter's biggest stumbling block is his pride, his insecurities and shame about his poor background. Charmaine's problems are her addictions: the need for drama, attention, chaos and her own self sabotage. Hunters appearance in her life, without a doubt, saves her from self destructing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two begin to influence and transform each other, bringing themselves into a place of happiness, peace, trust and love. Just as a teaser for you to ponder, here is a quote that you will need to read the book in order to understand its relevance. "....she'd found a man with an endless supply of worms...." Hmmm, think about it! I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars
~~~~~~~~~~~Katheryn's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~

Another very erotic book in the series of Daddy's Girls. This one gets 5 stars also. Charmaine was an easy character for me to like. She was let down by both her parents, her mom didn't try to make it better. Her dad did, but only with money, not affection. So sad that he was married so many times that Las Vegas informed him the next one would be the last one. Charmaine was a character that was a little scatterbrained. Not a good idea to go lay down when you are drunk and have something cooking on the stove, she was lucky no one got killed by setting her penthouse on fire. Really couldn't blame Hunter for tanning her hide, (giggle, giggle) when she was being such a brat. A little butt smack doesn't hurt anyone (wink, wink). Had to admit when her driver got hurt in that wreck, it had me getting emotional when she did. Hunter was very stubborn about the difference in their finances, but it was understandable. Glad they finally worked it out. Oh my goodness the sex scenes in here were hot as hell, no pun intended, lol

~~~~~~~~~~Sara's ★★★★☆ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Charmaine doesn't trust she has only ever been abandoned by men. Then Hunter comes charging in literally when he is saving her from a fire in her penthouse. She doesn't go easily and he has to give her a good spanking and then throws her over his shoulder to get her out of there. This book was Hot even though Hunter was stubborn when it came to their financial differences. I am happy at the end that they found their way to each other. This book had me crying, laughing and getting Hot. The sex Scenes OMG get your batteries ready lol. You must read this book.
Review for Poor Little Daddy’s Girl by Normandie Alleman
Poor Little Daddy’s Girl by Normandie Alleman is the third book in the Daddy’s Girl series; each book can be read as a stand-alone.
Warning: This book depicts a Daddy Dom/little girl relationship. If you are not comfortable with that dynamic then you should avoid this book. *There is NO age play nor taboo relationships*
I was extremely excited to start this book, it’s extremely hard to find an author who can write a Daddy/little girl book with great character development and storyline without heavily focusing on the smutty aspects of the relationship. Don’t get me wrong, there is some seriously hot smut in this book, but the story is there to provide a great balance. Not to mention amazing character development and growth.
Charmaine is a rich party girl and local celebrity. She has everything she could possibly want in the world and happily lives it up, at least that is what people see when they look at her. The reality is she’s fumbling and on a path to self-destruction. This book follows Charmaine as she struggles to find her place in life.
Hunter. Where do I start with Hunter? Well, he is a firefighter. A sexy-as-sin firefighter with a taste for dominance in the bedroom. He is also, kind and respectful with a very dirty mouth. I love, love, love how he could be completely sweet one second…
“You’re Daddy’s girl, Kitten. Never forget that.”
then say something dirty and melt your panties off…
“You want to be a little whore?” … “Then you be Daddy’s little whore. No one else’s.”
Pretty much everything a book whore could want in a BBF.
Charmaine and Hunter had chemistry from the start. The fact that he showed his dominant side from the get-go cemented Charmaine’s interest in pursing more than just a quickie. I really appreciated that Hunter wasn’t a ‘Daddy’ prior to his relationship with Char. It was interesting to see him learn the ropes while she pushed against him at every turn.
I’ll admit that Char had me tearing up more than once. I got so wrapped up in her emotions and her story that it just bubbled up without warning. I don’t want to give any spoilers so I’ll just leave it at that.
If you are a fan of romance with a twist of kink and a bit of the forbidden side of BDSM relationships this is the book for you. I can’t wait to read more in this series. Poor Little Daddy’s Girl will take you on a sensual journey of dominance and submission. You won’t be able to get enough of Hunter and Charmaine. Four well earned stars for storyline and four drenched panties for some seriously hot Daddy Dom lovin’.
This is the third installment of The Daddy’s Girl series.
We met Hunter and Charmaine in previous books; they are the featured couple in this installment. I liked that we still get to hear from some of the characters from the previous titles.
As with the previous books this story is told from, multiple POV’s which I adore. For me it always helps to give more insight to what each character is thinking. Getting each take on what happened at that point in the story. I love it.
Once again, Normandie’s knack for character and scene descriptions made this another amazing story.
Charmaine is a spoiled bratty rich girl with a need for drama and attention. She tends to cause pandemonium in her life, which in the end hurts no one but herself. She needs someone to keep her grounded. In walks or rather slams Hunter a sexy dominating firefighter. Hunter’s appearance in her life definitely ends up saving Charmaine from self-destructing. Charmaine doesn't trust easily having only been abandoned and disappointed by the men in her life.
When Hunter comes crashing into her life literally as he saves her from a fire in her penthouse she does not go easily. His fireman and dominate side have him giving her a good spanking and slinging her over his shoulder in order to get her out of danger. Talk about sexy alpha male! Whoa! My kind of male character.
Hunter has his own issues. His pride tends to get in his way of having good relationships with woman. His own insecurities about his poor upbringing tend to disrupt his relationships. Hunter needs to feel needed he has that strong alpha male way about him that craves a woman who needs him to take care of her. Charmaine turns out to be exactly what Hunter needs.
Normandie did not disappoint when it comes to the sex scenes in this installment. As with the other books they are hot! hot! hot!.
In the end, this couple comes together in love, trust, and happiness and I was so happy for them. They both found a love they could cherish and count on.
Alleman’s writing is amazing; the stories flow so nicely together. I love how the author writes about two very different people coming together and building a relationship with real problems and real struggles. It was a pleasure to go on the journey with this couple and the couples in the previous books as they begin to influence and transform each other. They become closer and learn that they can have a place of love and happiness in each other’s arms.
This is a standalone with an HEA for a wonderful couple.
I was given this book for my honest review
Fine tea leaves mixed with an exquisite flavor is a most sensual drink whether it be cold or hot we all love the flavors that come through to have a soothing effect upon our souls. Tea is a reminder of sitting around the table with our grandparents remembering our childhood. The after dinner drink that just wasn’t for our grandmothers but our grandfathers as well. Having the family sit around, the eating of our favorite deserts of yesterday but also the memories of what today’s society is missing at times. Family values of yesterday carry such great memories of love that we all cherish within our hearts.
Charmaine-spoiled, pretty
Hunter-hot, sexy and a firefighter
Charmaine is a woman that is vibrant and pretty she is any guy’s wet dream woman. She knows that she has an explosive personality and that whims are just her thing. She is a tiger in every sense of the word. She knows what she knows and doesn’t know any other but she feels like her heart is missing something but what is that something? Is it a man? A puppy or is life passing her by with no one to answer to but her own. Will she be able to feel complete?
Hunter is a firefighter that is a hunky hunk. Every woman dreams of the hunky firefighter that can do no wrong they are to protect us from the fire in the night. What happens though when the firefighters heart needs his flames to be ignited is there such a woman that can ignite the flames within?
Charmaine and Hunter’s journey is one that will have you getting the ice-cubes out and keeping them on hand to the very end. The issues that each possess are burning bright but the water that puts out the flames burns even brighter. The hotness in the bedroom is demanding and explosive, sensual yet calm, loving yet binding. With all the issues that each possess will these two find it in their hearts to reach a calm stream or will one walk away with the others heart not knowing the true meaning of love? This is their journey
To the author: Amazing you have taken opposites and brought them together in this sensual read but also brought out more than the expected in Hunter that he truly captures the essence of whom he is and can be.
To the readers: Sit back and enjoy
PS: Enjoy the erotic sex
Happy Reading
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
To write a story about a rich, spoiled adult brat and show enough of her vulnerable and tender side to make her sympathetic but not a cliché requires an amazing amount of talent by the author. Well Normandie Alleman has the writing skills necessary to write that type of character and she displays that in her newest release Poor Little Daddy’s Girl.
At first glance, Charmaine appears to have it all. She has more money than she could ever spend, she is stunning and she can do whatever she wants. But underneath all of that lays a lonely woman who is just looking for someone to love. No one is more surprised than she that it turns out firefighter Hunter is perfect for her. Actually, if you ask me, Hunter is just perfect. Not only is he a hero because of his chosen profession, but I love the way that he looks out for and takes care of Charmaine.
Don’t be scared off by the Daddy’s Girl title, this is not an age play story. Instead Hunter is a Daddy Dom who sets rules and boundaries for his little girl to ensure her safety and well-being. It is surprisingly sweet of how he looks out for his girl because it shows a high level of love and caring. But there’s nothing paternal about their relations in the bedroom. Ms. Alleman is brilliant at writing sexual scenes guaranteed to raise your temperature.
I devoured this book in one sitting. The writing flowed naturally and the chemistry between Charmaine and Hunter was hotter than a five alarm fire. All the characters are well-developed and came across as believable. Their actions and emotions were authentic and helped me grow to care for each of them.
Poor Little Daddy’s Girl is the third book in Ms. Alleman’s Daddy’s Girl Series. While the series resolves around the same characters, each book focuses on a different couple. Therefore you can read each book as standalones. However, if you choose to read the whole series (and you really should) then you will have a better understanding of the different characters and their motivations. There are certainly more stories to tell and I can’t wait for the next installment in this addictive series.
Be prepared to be razed by Charmaine’s recklessness and the tension between Charmaine and Hunter in Poor Little Daddy’s Girl!
This is the first novel I have read from the author, and also my second ever novel that has the daddy dom and little girl BDSM aspect. Usually it’s just the Dominant and Submissive relationship with hot and rich billionaires and definitely-not-reckless-and-rich but beautiful female protagonists.
Usually, it’s always the males being the rich ones around with control issues but in this novel, the lady’s the rich one. It was definitely a fresh read to see the story from both Charmaine and Hunter’s perspectives.
Charmaine plays around guys and thinks that she would never ever have the feeling of being safe and secure in a relationship. So, that explains her not being serious about everything, even when it comes to the safety of her own life.
That, my dear bookies, is when Hunter Baldwin, the smoking-hot (literally) fireman comes in!
When the both of them meet, Hunter can’t decide whether to love her or hate her. Okay, not hate but he doesn’t know whether to keep her despite his growing feelings for her.
For me, I feel as if both Hunter and Charmaine need each other. Hunter needs a dose of Charmaine’s recklessness and Charmaine needs Hunter’s seriousness.
THEY COMPLETE EACH OTHER.
With Hunter being Charmaine’s sugar daddy, Charmaine seems to feel secure, something she has not felt in a while and I could see her maturing…or growing up. Though I must say, their first meeting and that spanking is just…wow!
Their tension is literally burning when they first met.
Literally. Actually, this novel has my heart beating way too fast for a couple of times. ESPECIALLY WHEN EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE FINE BUT BAM!
Something happened.
Recommended for readers who don’t mind a few heart-stopping moments!
I've only read a few books with a Daddy Dom/little girl dynamic and I've found they are rather like marmite for me - I either love them or hate them. Happily Poor Little Daddy's Girl firmly falls into the love category and it is by far the best book I've read in this sub-genre. This is the third book in a series, but it can be read as a stand alone. I really enjoyed Normandie Alleman's style of writing and I couldn't put this book down.
Charmaine is a spoilt rich girl who is drinking too much and running wild. Hunter is the oh so sexy firefighter who rescues Charmaine when she accidentally sets her penthouse apartment on fire because she is drunk. I admit that I expected to find Charmaine annoying, but I was pleasantly surprised. She has everything money can buy - except someone who loves and cares for her, and this often causes her to be a brat. I found myself feeling sorry for her as her life is empty and there really is a nice person hiding behind the bratty persona.
Where do I start with Hunter? Oh My God, he is such a sexy character! Hot as hell, fit, caring and a heroic firefighter - he has it all. I'm a real sucker for dirty talk, and Hunter gets ten out of ten for it! Hunter is naturally dominant and is the ideal Dom for Charmaine. He lovingly corrects Charmaine's self-destructive behaviour and the sexual chemistry between them is off the charts. Hunter has never taken a 'Daddy' role before but he assumes this role for Charmaine and he is perfect as the nurturing, caring Daddy to Charmaine's Little Girl.
Daddy/little girl play is an often misunderstood area of BDSM that is not often written about, but Normandie Alleman represents it well. The subject is treated with respect and portrayed as the loving kind of relationship it often is. There is no age play, instead their relationship focuses on care and discipline - along with plenty of hot sex and bondage.
I definitely recommend this book, it gets five out of five stars from me and I will be looking out for other books by this author.
This is my first read by Normandie Alleman but it will not be my last. I found this story line very interesting and it was on the lighter side of BDSM.
Charmaine is an irresponsible, spoiled, rich girl but she is also a delicate little girl beneath it all, it was an interesting dynamic of personalities at war with one another. She is a total party girl and drinks way more then she should, and she gets away with a lot of the things she does because she is the eldest daughter of the richest man in Dallas. Hunter is a firefighter that is always safety conscious so when he is called to the penthouse of an apartment building and has to walk up 70 flights of stairs, he isn't happy at all when the spoiled rich girl who started the fire when starts making demands.
I really enjoyed the way Hunter and Charmaine each had something that the other needed in a relationship. Hunter was usually dominating in the bedroom but found that he liked dominating Charmaine out of the bedroom as well. Charmaine enjoyed a "daddy/little girl" relationship years ago but hadn't perused it again but with Hunter she let her guard down and showed him what she needed. I was happy to see that even though Hunter hadn't had this type of relationship before not only was he open to it but he asked questions with other men that were in similar relationships.
I will go back and read the two books in the series before this one although this can be read as a standalone I enjoyed it enough to go back and see how the other couples started.
#3 in the Daddy's Girls erotica series
This series has been OK so far, with a nice romance even though the daddy/little girl relationship just seems kind of weird to me. I was looking forward to this book about Charmaine (the poor little rich girl) and a hot firefighter. But instead I actively disliked both of these characters, but especially Hunter. He started out being very inappropriate when rescuing her from a fire, then he proceeded to take charge of her life, claiming to know what's best for her, even though he doesn't really know her personally, just knows of her. Unfortunately then, because of the chip on his shoulder about her wealth and a bad experience in his past, he decided that they were done and he basically dumped her with no warning. He didn't bother to tell her he wasn't going to Kimberlee's wedding until Charmaine asked him about it. Then, when he decided to surprise her anyway, he was angry that she had moved on to someone else. Although I know he's supposed to be a dom and she a sub, his arrogance and condescension seemed over-the-top to me and made him very unattractive, no matter how hot he was. Charmaine's need to be loved and cared for (and dominated) made sense, but she came across as whiny, although that may have been the narrator since I made the same comment about Carmen in the last book. I was all set to end this series here and now, but the final book in the series (actually a prequel) got good reviews and sounds good, so I'll finish this series and close this chapter.
Charmaine has been on a self-destructive path since her failed relationship with Preston. All she knows in her life is that men let her down and her own mother doesn’t love her so how can she expect anyone else to? A party girl and a socialite she feeds the media frenzy with her bad girl ways and guards her heart. When after a night of partying she sets her home on fire she is even more adrift than before. Hunter responds to the fire call at the condo and when he sees the lovely young lady who he rescues he is instantly entranced. Yet her attitude brings out a side of him that begs to tame her and shoe her how irresponsible she is. When he sees her again and finds out who she really is his mind tells him to steer clear but his body has other things in store. As they enter into a relationship It is fraught with all sorts of challenges. Having been burned once by a rich girl Hunter is on his guard. Can Hunter get past his past hurts and truly give himself and Charmaine a chance? Can Charmaine stop her party girl ways and allow Hunter in? Can these two put their differences aside and realize that they are exactly what the other needs before it is too late? A great story filled with love, loss, hurt, betrayal, understanding and sex that will leave you panting.
This was really good, and I wasn't sure I expected it to be that good, so it was a nice surprise!
The story is of our consummate poor little rich party girl and a down-to-earth firefighter. Straight up insta-love, with out there Dominant and submissive just as instant, and of course, Daddy-Dom needs. Our party girl has had one Daddy dom, which was when she was still a school girl, so that was a little creepy, and there is some sort of story there, but we don't know it, and I guess it doesn't matter. Willful and bratty, our party girl needs to be taken in hand for all things, not just the bedroom
Luckily, our hero is willing to do just that, well, a bit, before he loses his nerve. It was actually really sad when that happened, because he was so good for her and stepped back from her. Of course, his mom sets him straight, and our hot head hero tries to fix things. He finally realizes what he needs to do to keep his girl happy and in line, and they are both the happier for it
The story was fast paced, lots of interest and had depth of emotion. I could of read more from these two, and that is the best compliment I can give a book!
I received an audio of this book from IndieSage PR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the series' audio tour promotions.
I don't really care much for poor little rich girls (or boys, for that matter). The third book in Normandie Allen's Daddy's Girl series has a firefighter for a hero. Damn. Who knew that a brave firefighter could be so hot as a Daddy Dom? Not me, apparently. I didn't quite expect this hero.
The chemistry was great, and the sex scenes were scorching. Of course, I don't expect anything less from this author. However, I would have liked a more complex plot that would strengthen the bond between the main characters. I wasn't too sold out with the heroine, either. The hero was a bit flat, but it was still easy to love this firefighter.
At this point, I think I'd have to say that I liked the first two books better. However, that does not mean that this third book was inferior than the other two. It's just a matter of preference, especially when it comes to the main characters. I'd still say that you should check this book out (the whole series would be better) because it's fun, light, and easy to read (or binge-read, like I did).
Poor Little Daddies Girl
By Normandie Alleman
Review by Heidi Lynn
Thank you to NH Kuhn and Normandie Alleman for providing with an advanced copy of this book so I could bring you this review. Poor Little Daddies Girl by Normandine Alleman had me cracking up laughing at some of Charmaine’s and Hunter’s dialog. Who says, “Who peed in your Cheerio’s?” My favorite line was “You know you’re about as much fun as a colonoscopy with no drugs.” Charmaine is your typical wealthy, spoiled brat who gets into trouble and is only famous to be famous. She is lonely, on a destructive path, and dates all the wrong men for her. That is until Hunter a hunky firefighter rescues her from her apartment fire. The apartment is not the only thing that sparks a flame! I love how Normadie describes all the naughty scenes between the two characters. As they say firefighters find them hott and leave them wet! That is exactly what these two characters did! Poor Little Daddies Girl by Normadie Alleman gets 4 out of 5 hot steamy kisses from me.
*****Poor Little Daddy's Girl (Daddy's Girl #3) by Normandie Alleman *****
This Book is a Must Read... You can read with the series or stand alone. I cant tell you how Normandie went above and beyond. This book is HOT and Very Sexy...
Charmaine Bainbridge is a very spoiled rich girl that has everything and more than she ever needed or wanted except the man that can be her Daddy that can actually calm her wild ways. After a night of drinking She returns to her lavished apartment being hungry and decides to cook up some food when she falls alseep and wakes to her apartment burning.
When firefighter Hunter Baldwin comes and saves Charmaine for the first of several occasions. He has hidden his secret desires of being a Dom, but has hidden his desire for fear of scaring women away until Charmaine.
Charmaine gives him every reason to Spank her and to put his dominance side to light, especially after seeing how she really enjoyed calling him Daddy.
This book is definately my favorite one so far though I love the first 2 books too...
Charmaine is a wild child looking for a good time. One night she is drunk and gets hungry but passes out before she turns the burner off. Needless to stay it causes a fire and the fire department shows up. Hunter Baldwin in a lieutenant and reaches her first. She fights him all the way down the stairs. Hunter has enough and spanks Charmaine. She is shocked but yet turned on at the same time.
Charmaine and Hunter meet again at a bar. Neither wants to let on that they like each other. The girl needs to learn her lesson but she and Hunter come from different sides of the tracks. She is a rich girl and he is a fireman making a living. He has been down this road before and it did not meet a happy ending will Hunter and Charmaine reach a happy ending?
I loved this story as we see Charmaine grow up a bit with Hunter's help. The characters work well together. The BDSM is not too much in my opinion and works well in the story. I would read more stories by this author.
Charmaine Bainbridge is a rich socialite. Hunter Baldwin is a firefighter. They met one night when Charmaine was drunk and set her penthouse apartment on fire. Charmaine is a spoiled girl who wants everything her way or so she thinks. Hunter got so mad at her while trying to get her out of the building and she wouldn't co operate with him. He told her she needed spanked like a little girl so he did. She was taken by Hunter after that. This book contains a lot of profanity and way too many sexual scenes for my liking. If you are a fan of erotica books you will like this one. The story is good. It follows Charmaine as she tries to deal with her father and her relationship with Hunter. Hunter is a dom and he thinks he can teach her to be his sub. If you like erotica romance you will like this one
Charmaine is a spoiled young rich girl who has everything, except for someone to love her. Her whole life she is the wild one, partying, attention grabber, and trouble maker. After a night with the man she was seeing she goes home where by the end of the night her whole life will change. Hunter a smoking hot fireman is called to Charmaine's place to put out a fire, but what he doesn't realize that his life will also change after meeting her.
I loved the struggle of power exchange between the two. They have such great chemistry together and Charmaine is a character that grows on you one you will eventually end up loving. It was also nice to have previous characters from the other stories in this one. All in all another great story and I loved that Charmaine was original and fresh .
