In this gripping collection celebrating the EyeCU Reading Book Club’s milestone anniversary, Karma delivers tales that simmer with justice, payback, and poetic retribution. From quiet revenge to cosmic reckonings, each story explores the many faces of karmic fate—some bitter, some sweet, all unforgettable.
Whether it's a cheating lover who meets their match, a corrupt boss undone by their own games, or a long-held secret finally exposed, these tales serve every twist with spine-tingling satisfaction. Because in the end, karma doesn’t miss.
You’ll laugh, gasp, and maybe even cheer—because karma always collects.
Detroit represent. Damn! Yall did not come to play! Karma… more like Ruthless. This whole book is about when you FAFO, and they found out! I can’t even tell you which one is my favorite. The ones that stood out the most, that had my mouth on the floor: Karma Ain’t Kind… definitely ruthless. A Debt Called Karma… the reveal, WTF. Coming to the Stage: Karma… no words, just SMH. and Call Me Karma… it was the ending for me!
I snagged this book during BRAE because I love a good karmic revenge. This is probably one of the best collections of short stories I've read to date. Only one story fell short for me out of the entire thing, so that's a win. A win is a win LOL I would definitely not mind a round 2 of this.
Karma was all of that! I'm not just saying that because it was written by the ladies of EyeCU Reading and Social Network. The individual stories had me in a choke hold until the end, which came to quick once I got started. I feel like each story could be blown into a full novel of its own. If you're looking for a quick good read, Karma is the book for you.
Such a Creative Collective of nine different stories from nine different authors. I was thoroughly engaged because every single story delivered a different type of Karma. If you’re looking for something different to keep you entertained, look no further… Karma is Here!
2.5 This is my first time reading a couple of the authors in this book. I like the concept however, some of the stories I did not care for outside of the last one. I am open to read longer novels by the authors because the stories did not really get flushed out. Overall I really like the theme and the different plots. I just did not like the flow of the short stories.
I generally don't actually pen reviews of books I'm apart of. But this one is different. For this batch of first time authors, I was pleasantly surprised. Each story brings you something raw and real(maybe). You will laugh, anger and even perhaps have a grain of sympathy.
If nothing else I'm proud of my (now) pen sisters coming through with stories that ensure someone gets what they deserve in the end.
