Five Heart is the kind of book that gets under your skin and stays there. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy from Bees Publishing (thank you!!), and honestly, I couldn’t put it down. From the very first chapter, the story pulled me into the world of the five girls: Dani, Clare, Jonna, Sabrina, and Nora. Their friendship, the way fame both bonds and breaks them, and the darker secrets that unravel along the way, it all felt so raw.
Without spoiling anything, the mystery element and emotional twists had me literally gasping out loud. By the end, I was completely invested in these women and their story. It’s heartbreaking and empowering all at once, and it made me think about how trauma, ambition, and love all collide in ways we don’t expect.
If you loved books that mix music, drama, friendship, and real-life stakes, this is absolutely for you. Five Heart is more than just a comeback story. It’s about survival, resilience, and the strength of chosen family.
Huge thanks again to Bees Publishing for letting me read this early. This is one of those books I’ll be recommending to all my friends the second it officially drops
Five Heart completely surprised me in the best way. What starts as a story about five girls, Dani, Clare, Jonna, Sabrina, and Nora, and their rise to fame quickly turns into something much deeper.
The book does such a powerful job exploring friendship, ambition, and the pressure that comes with living in the spotlight. Each character feels distinct, and watching their relationships evolve as secrets and past trauma surface kept me turning the pages.
There were moments that genuinely shocked me, and the emotional depth of the story stayed with me long after I finished. It’s equal parts heartbreaking and empowering.
If you enjoy stories centered around complicated friendships, music, and the realities behind fame, Five Heart is definitely worth the read!!!

Five heart tell the story of a former girl band who reunites to honor a fallen band member and take revenge on the dirty manager and studio execs who victimized them (aka the smallest MEN who ever lived) who tried to rust their sparkling summer and made their well earned fame a nightmare. I loved this book!!! It reminded me in many ways of both Taylor Swift and Kesha’s battles with their old record labels. I loved the female rage and revenge story spin. I was so invested in getting to know each character and rooting for their individual love stories and character development. My heart broke for their fallen member, Nora, but the way the group rallied to honor her is so beautiful and a true testament to friendship and found family. The book ends with an absolutely insane plot twist that left my jaw on the floor, leaving me hoping and praying we get a sequel!!!
Five Heart is a book that will linger long after you’ve turned the final page, and tells a story about the dark side of the industry we know all too well. A former girl group revisits their shared past of teenage fame and the resulting trajectory each member found in life.
From the beginning, I became immediately invested in each character. Dani, Clare, Jonna, Sabrina, and Nora, whose rise to pop stardom was glittering on the surface but fractured underneath.
The author navigates alternating timelines with such ease, letting the past and present gradually meld together into a poignant culmination of clues. She’s not afraid to give her characters flaws, which only makes them more human and more relatable.
Jonna, Clare, Dani, Sabrina, and Nora, are vastly different people. Whether it’s the juggling mom, tenacious professional, or famously infamous star, the bond they share is undeniably the heartbeat of the book.
The story captures the messy, beautiful complexity of friendship: how fame ties people together, how secrets tear them apart, and how the truth never really stays buried.
There were moments that literally made me gasp out loud. It’s heartbreaking and empowering in the same breath, exploring trauma, ambition, survival, and the strength of choosing your own family.
Five Heart manages to blend drama, music, suspense, friendship, and love in a way that feels raw and real. It’s a story about sisterhood, resilience, and what happens when the stage lights finally go dark.
Five Heart broke me out of a reading slump that felt like it would never end. From the first chapter, I was completely drawn in and reminded of why I love reading so much.
What makes this book truly special is its universal appeal. Whether you’re in the mood for drama, suspense, friendship, or romance, Five Heart has you covered! It strikes a perfect balance between so many genres that I can truly see myself recommending it to every one of my friends.
I couldn’t believe how easy it was to connect with the characters. They felt real, layered, and impossible not to root for. By the time I turned the last page, I found that I wasn’t ready to let the girls go. I would love to see more books featuring these characters in the future!
A huge thank-you to Bee’s Publishing for providing me with an ARC. I’m so grateful I got to experience this story early. Five Heart is something special, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!!
Five Heart is the story of a teenage pop band in the 2000s who come back together for a tribute show over a decade later. Together they navigate the adversities of what it means to be celebrity and lift each other up in the face of tragedy.
Typically, I am not big into the music group drama novels, but I received an advanced copy of this and figured, why the hell not.
I am very glad I did! This book is told in alternating timelines and the author navigated this quite wonderfully for it being her debut novel.
While I wouldn’t say that these characters would be my friends in the real life, the way they were written and portrayed in the book were FANTASTIC. Each girl had their unique personality and it was easy to tell them apart. You have Jonna, the juggling mother; Clare, the resident diva; Dani, the one that stayed famous; Sabrina the one that craves the spotlight but just misses it every time; and Nora, the tortured soul.
As always in a thriller, you have the villain and this villain, did not disappoint. What a grade A piece of work. He was meant to be written sinister, and Sollitto did not miss the mark.
Overall, this was a page turner for me, especially as truths began to uncover, to the point that I did not want to put this book down towards the end. Definitely recommend this emotional thriller! Thank you Bee’s Publishing for this Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for my honest review.
Four women reunite after a hiatus from their world famous musical girl band past. Each character is relatable, lovable and it was easy to see a little of myself in each of them, or hope to be like them. I felt connected to each character, either through their style, their choice of men, their jewelry or their cocktails; I connected to them all. I sometimes found myself wanting to be the 6th Heart. With their foibles, their different perspectives and experiences of their collective past and present, together their lives weave an engaging tale in a modern, trendy way that had me giggling and crying a few tears. I was engaged until the last page and left hoping that there is a sequel to come soon-this isn’t just a book about friendship and romance, there are definitely some riveting plot twists and turns that I did not see coming!
This story felt really personal and heartfelt. I loved the concept of the five girls and how each of them represented different facets of identity and growth. It made the characters feel layered and meaningful in a unique way.
The beginning pulled me in quickly, and I especially enjoyed the nostalgic, almost dreamlike feel of their shared experiences. There’s something really compelling about the way the story explores friendship, ambition, and the paths we imagine for ourselves versus the ones we actually take.
If you enjoy character-driven stories with emotional undertones and a touch of escapism, this is definitely one to check out. It’s clear a lot of heart went into this story, and I’m excited to see how this author continues to grow.
Rebecca A. Sollitto writes with honesty and energy. She captures the highs of the spotlight as well as the quiet, painful truths that hide behind it. The friendships between the women reminded me of my own youth, when loyalty mattered more than anything. At times it was heartbreaking, at times uplifting, but always compelling. A powerful debut. I can see this one appealing to readers across generations, not just those who grew up with girl groups on the radio. Many thanks to Bee’s Publishing for providing me with this ARC copy.
Wow! I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of Five Heart. What an awesome read. The author really hooked me at the end of chapter one, I truly wanted to meet all of the girls from the band. Each character is very different from one another and I felt connected to each of them. The girls of Five Heart facing the challenges of tragedy and the dark side of the music industry are chilling and exciting to read. Each chapter leaves me wanting more and more. I really hope Sollitto will write a sequel! Thank you Bee’s Publishing for the advanced copy.
I received an advanced reader copy from the author. This book is not the genre I gravitate to however I enjoyed this book. The story unfolds from the viewpoint of multiple characters. I was never bored and always wanted to know what happens next. There is a twist—no spoilers here—that I didn’t see coming. I think this is an excellent debut story from the author and I can’t wait to read her next book!
