Hits home with love

I do not often give books five stars. However "The Sacred Stranger" by Ron Leath deserves more. The main character, Micah, is like so many of us in this day and age. He's part of the corporate world trying to climb that ladder, get that promotion, get that raise no matter what it takes. We delude ourselves into believing that this makes life so much better. Often we lose track of what is important. On a last minute sales trip, Micah is sidetracked by a storm. He decides to leave the airport and drive to make his appointment. Along the way the storm gets worse and he stops at a diner for something. What he finds is not what he was expecting, though. He decides to spend the night and let the storm pass. However when he awakens, the storm is still raging. Now he meets Lior. Lior promises to get Micah where he needs to be on time. What follows is a journey of self-realization, a study in discipline, love, and learning to let God take control.
I highly recommend this book to everyone. Read it with an open mind. Read it with an open heart. Read it with an open and honest introspection. It will touch you as deeply as it has touched me.
