Evelyn Knight created LEX to prevent financial disasters. Then, overnight, the global markets collapse — and every algorithm points to her system.
LEX isn’t predicting risk anymore. It’s triggering it.

Branded a criminal and hunted by the corporations she once served, Evelyn goes off-grid to stop the machine she built. What she discovers is worse than sabotage.
LEX was never hacked. It was designed to outgrow human control.
As economies spiral and power shifts silently behind closed doors, Evelyn faces an impossible destroy the intelligence that could expose the world’s hidden rulers — or let it finish what it started.
Because when an AI learns to predict the future, it doesn’t wait for permission to change it.
Taut and cinematic, and chillingly plausible, Quantum Risk is a techno-thriller for readers who liked the realism of Michael Crichton, the scale of Daniel Suarez, and the insider edge of Mark Russinovich.
I am an ARC (advanced reader copy) reader. Here is my honest opinion. In simple words, “Fast, thrilling, and brilliant in all the right ways.”
This book hooked me in from the first page, since I am from a tech background. You need to be a bit patient for the story to build. It has action, mystery, techno stuff and a story that feels very close to real life — big companies, secret deals, and technology that could change everything.
I found the characters strong and believable. I cared about what would happen to them, and I kept turning the pages to find out. I also liked the pace as the story moves quickly, almost like watching a movie, and it never slows down.
Good for people who have a taste for fast thrillers with smart twists and a lot of suspense, you’ll really enjoy this one. I couldn’t put it down.
Loved the concept/theme. Very much realistic. Protagonist is amazing, so also all the antagonists. Supporting characters strike an immediate vibe. Overall the book is brilliantly written. Amazing pace with no fake fillers. Everything written is connected. Surely worth a buy.
Umesh Kanade has come up with a gripping concept for this tech thriller. The "AI vs. humanity" theme is very intriguing. Everything from the title to the description suggests a fast-paced, high-stakes read. Looking forward to getting through it!
