The first and even the second part of this story had been believing she’d find a way and escape for good. I am a huge sucker for happy endings, and after everything she did to seek help, he was somehow never caught. Only reason I gave it a 4 star. But if you’re looking for a story where the danger continues to escalate, and you’re okay with the dark ending, then this book is for you! I stayed up late reading through it and woke up early to find out the ending. Sad it didn’t go the way I hoped for Sally, but the book certainly kept my interest.
