[3.75] It didn’t quite hit the same high as the last volume but it still had enough heart and charm to keep me invested. I really enjoyed seeing Kaoruko’s birthday and their first anniversary, it was sweet without feeling over the top and it gave me that warm, familiar feeling this series is so good at. What stood out the most, though, was how we finally got to see the boys figuring out their post-graduation plans. It felt satisfying to watch them come to their own decisions.
mikami the woman you that you ARE! the goku of female mangaka
if mikami has a million fans, then i am one of them. if mikami has ten fans, then i am one of them. if mikami has only one fan then that is me. if mikami has no fans, then that means i am no longer on earth. if the world is against mikami, then i am against the world.
now you have witnessed my daily prayer ( ◡̀ ᴗ ◡́)و in mikami we trust ♱
Their kiss in this volume might be my favorite one 🤭, so daring of them 😏.
What's wrong with Kaoruko's snobby teacher ?, I hate her already 😒.
Why do I have the feeling that Rintaro won't be able to continue in the path of making cakes. They keep mentioning how he wants to protect his hands and I don't know ?! something might happen but I'm not sure, it's just a theory 😅.
Still not quite feeling the career arc — it seems to be hitting much of the same beats as before and while I like how realistic and down-to-earth it is, it just seems very slow and uneventful.
