August. Spain. The country is on the verge of revolution and civil war. Discontent is brewing in Barcelona, which soon escalates into clashes between Catalans and police on the streets. Eva Duran spends a vacation with her parents in the family home. The next day she goes to a teenage camp, where she leads a group of teenagers on a trip to Madrid, despite the danger.
I enjoyed reading this book while traveling, as it was both engaging and easy to get lost in. I would recommend it to everyone, as the author does an excellent job of portraying the characters in a way that feels grounded in the real world, making the story even more enjoyable.
The book is so amazing that it could be read in one breath! Especially was interesting part about captivity and how they helped each other. I wish every girl could get such Marco ;)
Amazing story with a great final. Was excited to discover this adventure with elements of romantic story, national rebelion, development of a young teenagers soul
