La Lune Noire has a pulse. It rules apart from its owners. Backroom deals and electro swing. Extravagant parties and bootlegger tunnels. The walls have secrets. The doors have codes. Ashes and lies. White oak and screams. Champagne and delusions. Hope is the gateway to hell.

The house always wins. Unless it’s concerning Mercy Phillips. My brothers and I own La Lune Noire, a resort and casino that caters to the criminal underworld. To them, we’re kings. To her, I’m the friend she left behind. Some say absence makes the heart grow fonder. For me, it bred obsession. Three years searching. One offer she can’t refuse. Countless rolls of possibilities. Cognac. Contracts. Coming home. And someone lurking in the shadows, playing us all. But the house will win again. She’s always been mine.

That’s not even my name anymore. Much less who I am.

Other than my precious baby boy, only shards remain of that girl. Scars from a monster. Until Ryker Noire—my best friend and a reminder of the worst night of my life—breezes into town with a tempting proposition. Three years running. One haunting phone call. Countless reasons to stay away. But the choice isn’t mine. What a Noire wants, a Noire gets. No matter the battle, hope is the last thing to die.

I am fully convinced that if Brandy Hynes writes it, I'm going to devour it and won't leave a single crumb. The way that this book consumed me. I couldn't put it down. The vibes of this one was immaculate. The writing style, as always with Brandy's masterpieces, was so poetically beautiful. The happily ever after is one we had to fight for but in the end was everything that they deserved and more. And lastly, the suspense element, superb!

I first would like to say that I am so freaking excited to be in my Noire Brothers era! If you have read the KORT series by Brandy, then you have already been introduced to the Noire's and to say that these boys are going to over succeed my expectations is an understatement! All of the Noire Brothers have such different personalities and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT. [I have already licked and called dibs on Cash... just throwing that out there] But we are here to talk about Ryker Noire! Ryker, this man is low key obsessed... like OBSESSED with his best friend Mercy. FOR 20 YEARS! For 20 years this man has been pining over his best friend. And when she "erases" herself after fearing for her life, Ryker has spent the last 3 years trying to find her and bring her home to La Lune Noire. And yes, he does in fact find her and brings her home under the "false" pretense of being his fake fiancé but lets face it, there is nothing fake about it in the eyes of Ryker Noire.

Ryker and Mercy's story was mentioned in the KORT series and I was so excited for their story. And boy do they have a story to tell. Their love story is not for the weak. I mean it will make you weak in the knees because let's face it, Ryker will do anything to make Mercy his queen. But their story, is filled with trial and tribulations. The one that Brandy is so good at, is making you work for their HEAs and this one is no different. We have 2o years of trauma that needs to be healed and these two lean on each other for that. It was truly such a beautiful love story. And the way that Noire's accepted Mercy and her son Remy back into their lives brought tears to my eyes. Ugh, what can I say, this one pulled on my heart strings.

Brandy, I am so excited for this series. This one was pure perfection. I loved everything about Ryker and Mercy. And I can't wait for the rest of the brothers. And if you have never read one of Brandy's books yet, now is the time! You truly won't regret your decision to pick her books!

You should read this book if you like:
- Fake Engagement
- Friends to Lovers
- Single Mom
- Romantic Suspense
- OTT J/P Morally Grey Hero
- Trauma and Healing
- Found Family
- Man Obsessed
- Billionaire

* I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Brandy Hynes for allowing me the absolute honor to read ROLLING 75 as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, opinions and review.

Rolling 75 isn't just a dark romance; it's a haunting, raw, obsessive, and beautiful story. I devoured every single word.

Ryker and Mercy are the definition of 'meant to be' but their path is anything but easy. It's twenty years of yearning, guilt, and ghosts of the past finally crashing into a second chance. Mercy, a survivor who went through hell and clawed her way out for her son, is fierce and fragile all at once.
Ryker is obsessed; unashamedly, irrevocably, protectively obsessed. The man has been down bad since preschool, and yes, the preschool biting incident somehow made their story even more compelling.

What you can expect:
♡ Fake engagement
♡ Friends to lovers
♡ Single mom
♡ He falls first
♡ Found family
♡ Grumpy alpha with a soft spot
♡ Touch her and 💀
♡ Trauma healing
♡ Forced proximity

There’s something so intoxicating about the atmosphere Brandy builds; lush, moody settings dripping in secrets, smoky jazz club energy, hidden danger around every turn. Underneath all the darkness is a deeply tender story about choosing love, even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.

Ryker doesn’t just want Mercy. He sees her - beyond the scars, beyond the trauma - and he’s willing to burn the world down just to bring her home. Their chemistry is so unhinged.... and the emotional payoff? It's so satisfying!
And the Noire brothers? I already want each and every one of their stories, especially Axel. 👀

If you loved the KORT series, Rolling 75 is everything you hoped for and more. If you're new to Brandy Hynes, prepare to become obsessed!

Rolling 75 was the perfect way to kick off the Noire Brothers series and I am already in love! We’ve seen glimpses of Ryker from the KORT series and knew he was trying to track down Mercy, but finally getting their story was everything I needed. I binged this book because I quite literally could not put it down and I fell in love with these characters.

Ryker might be OTT possessive, but his heart is so big for his family and I was swooning every time his actions showed this side of him. He’s been down bad for years and I loved seeing the glimpses of their past friendship! Mercy has definitely experienced some trauma, but despite all that she also fights for her family and to move on with her life. She’s strong and inspiring and I absolutely love every time she gives Ryker some trouble. The tension between these two is INSANE and the spice is HOT.

🎧🎧: This audiobook was so freaking good to listen to! I loved having Ryker & Mercy in my ears and I had been so feral waiting for this audio after all the teasers! Performed in duet by Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis - I love these two and how amazing they both are at truly bringing this story to life!

And while this was Ryker & Mercy’s story, I loved seeing more of the other Noire Brothers! Their love for each other and their family is so strong and I cannot wait for all of their stories too!

What to expect:
🖤 Morally gray MMC
🥂 Friends to Lovers
🖤 Forced proximity
🥂 Fake engagement, but it’s not fake to him
🖤 Billionaire Romance
🥂 Single mom
🖤 Obsessed, jealous, and possessive MMC
🥂 He falls first and HARD
🖤 Touch her and die

I’m always left amazed at how much meaning Brandy packs into every word she writes. Always. If you think a simple scene is unimportant, think again it will leave you guessing.
This book was filled to the brim with obsession from both sides. With years of yearning, guilt, hurt, and so many secrets. The ghosts of the past still haunt them, but they’re determined to leave them behind.

Mercy was intriguing from the moment she was mentioned in the KORT series. I knew there would be so much more to her story. Let’s just say she met the wrong person someone who broke her both verbally and physically. After she escaped successfully with her son, the only thing that mattered to her was protecting him. She disappeared from everyone, even the people she loved especially Ryker.

“My heart, my soul—everything I am is yours, Merce. It always has been. You’re my heaven, but if you need me to be, I can be your hell. Prepare to be ruined.”

Ryker was intense. The definition of an OTT alpha-hole who would lay his life down for his siblings. Obsessive to the point of counting the days since he last saw her his viper. She haunted his dreams, his waking thoughts his everything. And he had enough of her running. He was going to bring her home.
Even though he was obsessed and friend-zoned for nineteen years, now was the time to break that zone and make her his. forever.

Also the fact that their past includes her biting him in preschool just makes everything ten times better.
I lift my sleeve to show her my bicep, where her pretty teeth left a forever branding on me—yep, she pierced that deep into the flesh.
God, this is so funny to me.

Maddox, Cash, Axel, and Jax let’s just say I’m impatiently waiting for their books.
Especially Axel. I need to know what the oldest Noire is hiding under those suits and that calm, unreadable demeanor.

This series was fantastic!! I will have to come back and write a full review once I have processed everything. One thing that I can say now is, I have been dying for Rykers story and Brandy delivered!!!

Update now that I have collected myself 🥵

Wow. Just… wow. This book took me on a wild ride from the very first page! Ever since the Nories showed up in the KORT series, I’ve been lowkey obsessed and this gave me everything I was hoping for.

It was funny, spicy, and the plot had me flipping pages like crazy trying to see what would happen next. I’m still thinking about the vibes (and a champagne bath 👀). I seriously can’t wait for the next one!

✨🎧audio update🎧✨

Brandy’s audiobooks are always banger after banger, and Brandon and Andi did such an amazing job. Their voices fit the characters perfectly, the pacing was spot-on, and they pulled out every bit of emotion in the story. It was exactly the vibe I hoped for. I just can’t stop breathing about this one enough everything from the production to the performances to the story itself!🔥

This was all over the place.
There was no depth to the characters nor was there any chemistry that i felt.
Everything was just so sudden and even tho both main characters were shown to be childhood best friends, there was hardly anything to their relationship than what they described in the past.
How did FMC fall in love with him after all that platonic friendship?

Remy (FMC’s son) called MMC daddy by the end but how did we get to that development?

Again, the story was not constructed well

Omg—what an “excruciatingly beautiful” read! Drink and Conspire!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I think I’m officially obsessed with Brandy Hynes and her writing. And don’t even get me started on Ryker and Mercy—I’m so in love with this couple! They’re strong, flawed, funny in their own ways, and the emotional journey they go through—both apart and together—completely wrecked me. One of my favorite parts was watching them find their way back to each other.

Ryker Noire is the perfect mix of gentle and dominant, intense and passionate. A man who’s quietly carried pain, regret, and longing—and still became that man for the woman he loves. 🫠🥹
Mercy is wild and wonderfully strong-willed. A little weird in the best way. She’s been through hell and still refuses to lose her fire. 😍

This story is all about hope—or in Ryker’s words, “champagne and delusions.”
Not the sunshine-and-rainbows kind, but the messy, stubborn kind. The kind that clings to you in your darkest moments and says, “we’re not done yet.” The kind you hold with shaking hands, knowing it might break you—but daring to believe it could save you. And that hope? It fueled them—and me—every step of the way.

I was howling at the spicy scenes, crying at the emotional ones, and totally undone by the raw, healing love at the heart of it all. There’s angst, pining, found family, morally grey choices, broken hearts, and soft redemption.

Brandy Hynes, you’ve outdone yourself. Another absolute favourite read of my year.

Fall headfirst into the magic that is La Lune Noire. 💫

Whew, this book had me. Like, fully. I went into Rolling 75 by Brandy Hynes expecting a bit of great Gatsby grit and New Orleans vibes (which it delivered), but what I didn’t expect was how deep and emotional it would go. I’m a bit of a softie, let’s be honest, so stories of healing after trauma hit me right in the chest. And the way this story holds space for pain, while also giving us hope, was just… something else. 💔✨

I’m normally the kind of person who keeps it together pretty well, but this had me curled up in a blanket like I’d been emotionally steamrolled (in the best way). Also, Ryker? Obsessed. Completely and utterly.

What I Loved About This Book 💕

🌒 The Setting – Dark, Lush, Mysterious
I mean… prohibition/ great gatsby vibes - Charleston and New Orleans? YES PLEASE. The vibes are immaculate — smoky jazz clubs, the hidden underbelly of a world we never see in the light, La Lune Noire, this secret little haven for the dark, exclusive and dangerous. You could feel the shadows in this book, and I lived for it.

🖤 The Rawness – It Doesn’t Shy Away
This book is raw. It doesn’t sugar-coat trauma, and it doesn’t romanticise pain either. It walks that fine line between showing us the reality of what life can be after abuse and the strength it takes to climb out of that dark place. It’s heavy, but it’s healing too. The MC’s journey felt so real.

💘 Ryker – The Man, The Myth, The Soft-Spoken Saviour
Okay, so Ryker is that man. You know the type – covered in ink, a bit broody, probably smells like tobacco and secrets, but has the softest heart under it all. He sees her for more than her trauma. He stands next to her, not in front of her. Swoon central.

👩‍❤️‍👨 The Romance – Broken Meets Broken, But Beautiful
Watching her pick herself up and slowly, tentatively, let Ryker in was so moving. And Ryker? He fell first. He stood by her when she couldn’t stand herself. It was marriage of convenience meets found family and OH, did it deliver!

🕵️‍♀️ The Mystery – Gripping & Full of Twists
I love thinking I’ve figured it all out and then being completely wrong 😂 This book had so many twists I didn’t see coming. Just when you think you’ve got it, Brandy Hynes is like “actually… plot twist.” And it worked every time!

👨‍👦 The Noire Brothers – Need. More. Now.
This family?? Gah. Each one was interesting and layered and left me wanting their story immediately. The found family vibes were chef’s kiss and I’m ready to read about every single one.

The Tropes 🍸💥

Best Friends to Lovers Marriage of Convenience “My Wife” Energy 😍 He Falls First Single Mum Mafia Vibes Found Family Secret Tattoo 👀 He’s Pierced 👌 Emotional Healing / Trauma Recovery

Ending Summary 💌

This one isn’t just a book — it’s an experience. Rolling 75 by Brandy Hynes is a smoky, soulful, and gritty tale that lingers long after the last page. If you’re into dark romance with depth, mystery that grips you, and a romance that heals, this one’s calling your name. Just… bring tissues, okay? 😭📖💕

I am obsessed with Brandy’s writing! She packs so much into every word she writes! Something that is super simple and seems unimportant, isn’t and will have you second guessing! Ever since the end of the KORT series I have been so excited to start the Noire Brothers series and it did not disappoint! I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for the rest of the books!

This book is filled with obsession from Mercy and Ryker! Years for built up emotions, memories, traumas and so many secrets. They can only stay secrets for so long! Their past can also only stay a past for so long before those memories and people start catching up with them and bringing everything back.

Sweet Mercy has been through so much! I just wanted to give her a big hug! She met the wrong person who broke her physically and mentally and she was able to escape with her son. Her only goal in mind was to protect him even though that meant disappearing from everyone she loved.

Ryker was obsessed! He did some really sweet things for his viper! Mercy was his everything even when she disappeared he still didn’t stop thinking about her all the time. He knew she had been through a lot and knew her walls would be going up and down but he went slow and what she was comfortable with. They have insane chemistry together! I am so glad they were able to get their happy ending.

This was my first from @brandylhynes and now I need to read more from this world! I was so engaged with the characters, and I loved every second I got to spend with them.

Rolling 75 is a friends to lovers, fake engagement, single mom, forced proximity romance between Mercy and Ryker.

Mercy is such a strong heroine. I don’t know that I could hold it together the way she does with everything she’s dealing with. She’s such a dedicated friend and mom, always doing what she feels is best for her loved ones, even if it costs her dearly. I loved how she had to slow down and accept this family she’s become a part of, and watching her realize she doesn’t have to do everything on her own. So many readers will love her story.

If all of @brandylhynes ‘ heroes are like Ryker, then I definitely need to catch up on her backlist because this man is amazing! Nothing is off-limits when it comes to his loved ones, especially Mercy, if he feels there’s a threat towards her or her son in any way, that threat is dealt with swiftly and accordingly. He would follow them to the ends of the earth, and never rest until they’re all safe and sound, together. Seriously, if you love an obsessive man, say hello to your new favorite.

Thank you so much to @brandylhynes and @hambright_pr for my arc! I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us with this series.

This book took me for a wild ride between the tragedy, the hurt, the secrets and the love between the characters especially their HEA.
When they reunited you can definitely feel the pain between them.
There was flashbacks to their friendship before Dalton, Mercy’s ex and you can definitely feel how the incident between them changed everything considering they both fought hard to get back to what they were.
I definitely loved the banter and how this book was funny in a way especially when Mercy was constantly messing up popular sayings.

Definitely can’t wait for the next book!

I was hooked by 5%—no lies. Ryker is my new unhinged book boyfriend! The way that man loves Mercy so wholeheartedly and wholesomely? Whew. He could’ve just tossed her over his shoulder caveman-style, but instead, he got creative about winning her back—and I was here for every second of it.

I absolutely loved how Ryker loved Mercy, and watching both of them grow emotionally throughout the book was so satisfying. The character development was top-notch, and the cameos from the Kort series were a fun bonus for fans.

I’m usually not the biggest fan of friends-to-lovers, but this one really worked for me. That said… I still don’t think Ryker should’ve let her be with Dalton in the first place 👀

Overall, a solid 4-star read. Do I recommend it? Absolutely!

Rolling 75 by Brandy Hynes is the first book in the Noire Brothers Series. This series follows right after the Kort series, I recommend you as the reader to read the previous series as there are so many interconnections and build up to this story. I promise this review has no spoilers.

In Rolling 75 we are following a feisty FMC, Mercy, who previously we learned was a victim and survivor of D.A. and went under a program to wipe her from existence with a new identity. That meant all her past and people from her past had no access to her, including our MMC, Ryker. Ryker is the definition of obsessive, possessive, maybe even a bit demented for this woman. With a heart of gold his love is only for her. He is on a path of finding her, even if his brother in law(we love him) is the one who wiped her identity and keeps her hidden.

You could say that this story is a second chance to love and to a life together.
As I don’t want to give anything away from this story, I will have to say that this book will live 24/7 rent free in my head as did the Kort series. Brandy writes crack on page and smut poetry at its finest. Every word has meaning behind it and there are so many Easter eggs you will find along the way. One thing I appreciate about her writing is that you never know where the story will take you. The banter is spectacular, the spice is hot as hell, the plot is leading us in amazing directions, and the inside jokes, omg, absolute perfection!
I think all her characters are meant for each other, but Ryker and Mercy have a special space and they are brilliant and beautiful together!

Thank you so much Brandy and VPR for this amazing opportunity to meet them earlier, I can’t be more grateful! Thank you !

Audiobook:

Rolling 75 by Brandy Hynes is the first book in the Noire brothers series, this is a spinoff from the KORT series so please, I will say this once again, I will recommend reading/listening to that before you dive into this.
First of all, I want to thank Brandy very much for being very kind and generous and allowing me to listen to this audiobook as an ALC, I would like to thank Valentine PR and their amazing team and providing the book.
As I have already reviewed the story, this time we are going to talk strictly about the audiobook and the performance, Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis brought to life not only the story but also the characters, the atmosphere and the brilliant writing of all the little details. Andi has embraced Mercy’s character in a very powerful performance adding to her personality in so many facets and playing so well on her emotions. She was the perfect fit for Mercy, the way Andi expresses the healing and trauma that she went through is not only amazing but very unique and on brand to her!
I have been waiting to experience an audiobook with Brandon voicing for a very long time, I'm happy that this happened to be my first from him, because him as Ryker is a full-on delight! I absolutely loved Ryker's character, as you might know, but the performance from Brandon was an entire push straight on the podium!
Both of them have delivered the banter, the amazing rage of emotions. I can't imagine a better team than Andi and Brandon breathing life into this story!
I have to say that I have realized how many details I’ve missed on the first experience and were so beautifully highlighted in the audiobook!
Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Rolling 75 by Brandy Hynes
4/5⭐
3/5🌶️

This was my first book by this author, and I loved it! There are so many twists and turns and secrets that I just couldn't put it down. I found myself racing through the pages to uncover the truth, and I was surprised by the identity of the villain! Mercy and Ryker are childhood friends, and Ryker has had a crush on Mercy for ages. When Mercy's boyfriend assaulted her, she decided to leave everything behind, including Ryker and her old life, to protect her son. But Ryker is determined not to give up on her. After three years of searching, he finally finds her and offers her a job she loves, safety for her son, and a place to live—all in exchange for pretending to be his fiancée.

I adore how obsessed Ryker is with Mercy! He'd do anything to keep her by his side, showing just how determined he is to win her heart. He's strong, protective, and has a bit of a dark edge, but around Mercy, he can be so sweet and thoughtful. Plus, his love for her son, Remy, is just heartwarming—they have such adorable moments together! After everything she has been through, Mercy feels a bit lost and struggles with her sense of identity. But I admired her strength and how fiercely she protects her son. Even though she’s hesitant about going into Ryker's world, she slowly realizes that she can trust him. He helps her heal and shows her just how strong, smart, and beautiful she is—that she’s truly perfect for him.

And oh my goodness, the spice in this book is fantastic! I loved how Ryker lets Mercy take the lead, and when they finally come together, it’s electric. That champagne bath scene? Wow, just wow! I also enjoyed the Noire brothers—their playful banter was so entertaining, and you can feel the bond they share. The world the author has created in this series is so captivating, and I can’t wait to dive into the next book!

This was my first time reading Brandy Hynes and I am completely and utterly obsessed! I’m definitely going back to read the KORT series because I need more of this family and these men !!

This book was both beautiful and heartbreaking. It didn’t shy away from the truth and pain that these two characters went through. And I absolutely loved that. Sometimes we get stories that sugar coat the pain in the name of romance and happy endings. And while these two absolutely get their happy ending, there’s nothing sugar coated about it. It’s gritty, painful and something they both had to work and fight tooth and nail for.

This book centers around Ryker and Mercy. These two have been best friends since Ryker bit her in preschool and their bond has only grown. Ryker has been harbouring feelings deeper than friendship for Mercy for over 20 years. To say he’s obsessed is an understatement. They both have been through hell and back. Both losing their parents at a young age…they leaned on each other to get through life.

When Mercy finds herself in real trouble. The man she thought she loved turns out the be a nightmare. Abused in every way possible, she takes the first chance she gets to save herself, her son and ultimately Ryker…she disappears into the night and is untraceable for the next 3 years. But Ryker is nothing but persistent. He’s determined to find her and bring her back home to him, where she belongs. And he does…under the guise of a fake engagement to keep her safe. But nothing is fake for Ryker…he’s wanted her for as long as he can remember and he has no intention of ever letting her go again.

There are a lot of secrets that both Ryker and Mercy are hiding. And when those secrets are revealed, that’s when the story really starts to pick up and the mystery’s really begin. I won’t say more than that because you truly need to read it and explore to get the full effect. But trust me…whatever you THINK is happening? You’re wrong ! lol it’s plot twist after plot twist tied with a sexy broody bow.

These two were broken souls looking for a place to breathe and they find that in each other. Ryker always knew Mercy was the one for him but it took a little longer for Mercy to realise that her true path was in front of her all along.

To see them get their happy ending made me cry. It was so well deserved and so heavily fought for. I don’t know that I’ve ever cheered on a couple as hard as I did for them. I just wanted them both to find happiness and love and I knew they would only have that with each other. So when they both finally realised that, I was over the moon!

I’m so excited to see what the rest of these Noires brothers have in store for us and who will be up next! 🖤

Thank you so much to Brandy Hynes and Valentine PR for the opportunity to ARC read this incredible book! 🖤

Brandy is a genius and I’m always so left speechless after one of her books!! The way her stories captivate me and fully emerge me into this world… I just will never get over how incredible her writing is!! I love the stories, the characters, this world, but truly it’s her writing style that really gets me! I devour it every time!!

I already had a feel for Ryker from KORT but this man.. this man knows what he wants and will do anything for it!! It being Mercy 🤭🤭 I love this man, and I love how far he was willing to go to protect her. I refuse to spoil anything, so this review is super vague BUT just know this man PINES over her for YEARS. The tattoo… 🫠

The suspense is freaking mind blowing. I was on the edge of my seat eating up every crumb along the way. And when I thought I knew what was happening, I was completely shocked with something else! It’s just brilliant writing.

I loved seeing all of the Noire siblings and cannot wait for all of their stories!! They’re all so unique, and I just know they have more to them than we’re seeing right now.. I’ll be here for every story that’s to come!!

This audio??? WOW. Just wow. It was everything. I followed along with the ebook, which is my favorite way to read — but really, I couldn’t pause this audio. I was so immersed in it, it was so good. The narrators made me feel like I was in the story with them. Highly recommend doing this one in audio 🫶🏼

FLAWLESS.

There is absolutely nothing about this book I would change.

Ryker and Macey are everything I needed in 2025. This hits all of my favorites:

Second Chance
Single Mom
Alpha Male with a heart of gold
Billionaire
HE FALLS FIRST
Witty Banter
Spicy talk off the charts

And do not get me started on ALL my slightly unhinged micro tropes that I am obsessed with… all in one book. I can’t.

This book sucked me in from the first page and I had to force myself to slow down and savor this moment.

There is me pre Ryker and there is me now. There will never be a French 75 consumed without a smile on my face and a baptismal request.

Thank you for the ARC opportunity Brandy and team 🥂🍾

Brandy Hynes’ writing is top tier and all of her books are guaranteed to have the perfect blend of plot and spice. This book has everything you could think of and want out of a book. Banter. Intensity. Spice. Romance. Character development. Every character in this book will forever be stuck with you. I literally find myself wondering how they are or what they are up to.

The time has finally come to dive in to the Noire Brothers series. If you’ve read any of Brandys previous books from the KORT series, you know a little bit about these brothers (and Rena) and how much of a mystery they’ve been to us all! We now get to dive in to the second eldest brother, Ryker(s) story. Here we go babes !

If you looked up the definition of OBSESSED and POSSESSIVE in the dictionary, Ryker would be standing there with a big smile on his face. This man is and has been obsessed with his childhood friend, Mercy since they were kids. I mean like, don’t even look in her direction possessive. Don’t even speak a word to her, possessive. It’s absolutely delicious.

Mercy had to disappear. Some things happen, some awful, brutal, nasty things.. and the best way to keep herself, her son, and Ryker and his family safe was to flee.

Now Ryker is determined to find her, bring her home where she belongs, and keep her there. Willingly.. but with some secrets. They’ve both got them. And when they finally come to light? Well, the mystery begins.

Without spoiling anything for you I’ll say this. These two were equal parts sweet, sexy as hell, fun, their banter was top tier, their inside jokes were phenomenal, the flashbacks were just so tender, and their story is both heartbreaking, and heartwarming. They’re both hurt, hurt by one another and by others, and they’ve lost so much time. But no more. These two feel that electric pull to one another, and try as she might, even Mercy can’t resist it.

Brandy Hynes writes absolute poetry in book form. Every word has a purpose, every scene tells a story, and every piece of the plot has about 10 secrets interwoven between them.. some to be discovered, and some to unfold later.

Ryker and Merce get their HEA. The sweetest, best HEA that they 100% deserve, and I can’t wait to be able to dive in to this family again. CASH, I’m coming for you baby! You’re my man.. I just know it!

Ryker and Mercy are perfect for one another. I have no doubt about that. There are no two characters better suited for one another than them. It’s always been them. Always Rolling 75. 🖤

ryker is HOT. the chemistry between him and mercy was soooo good.

this was a good first book in laying down the foundation and for meeting side characters to get a feel for this universe. i loved all the brothers and remy!

ryker has a mouth on him 🥵

the only thing is at times i felt like certain things were dragged on, and i found myself getting lost in the story. some moments didn’t hold my attention as much as i wanted it to.

this book was given to me as an ARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own

2.5 rounded to 3 ⭐️

I listened to this one on audio, and honestly… I’m not sure that was the move. 🤔 I think this might’ve worked better if I’d read it with my eyeballs.

I really struggled to connect with the characters. I wanted more of their backstory—especially to understand why Ryker was so obsessed with Mercy. Their chemistry never fully clicked for me, and I think that’s because we didn’t get enough of their history or emotional foundation. Same goes for Mercy and her baby daddy; there was so much potential there that felt like it never quite got explored.

The pacing was another hurdle—it’s very relationship-focused with the fake (but not-so-fake) engagement trope front and center. The spice was solid overall (minus the “pencil eraser” comment that gave me the ick 😂), but I kept wishing the story leaned deeper into the dark, gritty, underground crime-family vibes that were promised.

And honestly… the more I think about it, the more I’m side-eyeing Ryker. You were obsessed with Mercy but didn’t fight for her? You watched her get involved with a dangerous man, carry his baby, and still didn’t step in—even though you had a literal SOS code for her? Meanwhile, you went celibate, got multiple tattoos for her, and pined like she was a ghost while she was right there. Make it make sense. 😅

There’s a really good storyline here—it just feels incomplete. I think with more emotional depth and background, this could’ve been a standout dark romance.

3.5 !

This was a fun read that takes place in New Orleans. I loved all of the New Orleans references and how it impacted the whole vibe of this book. I was immediately hooked in chapter one with Ryker in his POV. It was the billionaire / low key mafia vibes that hooked me. I was engaged in the story and how him and Mercy fell into place with their past and present.

Rolling 75 was told by both Ryker and Mercy's perspective, which I always love. It makes me feel more of a connection with the story. While I was hooked at first, the story did feel a little long for me personally. Some of the flashbacks, while sweet, felt drawn out. The chemistry between both mercy and Ryker was good and the burn was slow, which I love. I also enjoyed getting to know the brothers, because we all know we will see them in the next few books. I look forward to Axel's story!

Thank you to HambrightPR and Brandy Hynes for the opportunity to read this book. I look forward to reading more books by Brandy in the future!

I didn’t think it would be possible for anything to even come close to comparing to the KORT series, but this book has set the bar so incredibly high for the rest of the brothers, I am speechless.

We’ve had so many bits and pieces of Ryker and Mercy’s story but holy smokes… this was INTENSE in the best way possible.

Ryker and Mercy were so perfectly matched and were able to go toe to toe on everything. Remembering things from their past and applying them to their current situations (Viper) Augh I melted.

The meaning behind Mercy’s son’s name, the napkin contract, the dice, so many small things turned out to be so significant and powerful.

Mercy is the one of the strongest characters I’ve ever read, and the Noire brothers only lift her up and support her making her the queen of their castle. They are an amazing family unity. The way that Brandy can write about family is absolutely incredible!

I am so excited to see where this series takes us! The lust, corruption, love, secrets, and power create such a dynamic world to immerse yourself in.

Oh my, it was a long time ago, I didn’t read a book in one sitting. But it doesn’t surprise me that I couldn’t stop reading Brandy Hynes’s book!

Like always everything is perfect, the characters, the story, the plot and all.

I needed to read Ryker and Mercy story since the first time I met these two in her last series. I was so happy when I saw that Brandy Hynes was ready to share it to the world! Ryker and Mercy are really two beautiful characters with a share of broken hearts. They lost their parents, and they’re ready to fight for their future and the people they love.
The story is full of twists and turns, and I was so in love with everything. Even if I figured pretty quickly who was the bad one, but a scene broke my heart so much. Because I wanted a character to have more chance to shine!

I’m a big fan of Brandy Hynes universe because each books unreleased some new things about this world and what’s really happening.

At the moment, I can’t say which Noire’s brothers is my favourite, because I need more of them before choosing even if Axel and Maddox intrigue me a bit more. Cash reminds me a lot of Ty from her KORT series with his playfulness and his humour. But my heart is so broken for Jax and I want to hug him!

I was so happy to see the characters from The Kort series appear!

I can’t wait to read the next one!!

I am absolutely obsessed! I knew I would be with all the sneak peaks we got of Ryker in the K.O.R.T series. He is absolutely obsessed, possessive, and the perfect shade of grey! Rolling 75 will take you on a journey you weren’t expecting and can’t get enough of! I am so grateful Brandy Hynes kicked off the series with Ryker and I can’t wait to see where the Noire series goes!

Stellar storytelling, strong leads, and the best spice.
I loved the way Ryker and Mercys story unravelled, and the adoration he has for Mercys baby.

“We’re not friends, right?”
“We are most definitely not fucking friends, are we, Viper?”

A sweet innocent meeting.
Welcomed into the family fold.
Drunken future promises.

Then a broken girl on the run and a desperate boy with a broken heart.

Will they ever raise a Rolling 75 toast again?

Once I find her, I’ll never let her go.

The story we’ve been patiently (or impatiently) waiting for since these brothers turned up in the KORT series. Ryker has finally tracked down Mercy and there is nothing stopping him from bringing her back home to La Lune Noire in New Orleans.

Mercy had to escape her past and start over with her baby son; it was the only way for her to move on. I loved finding out about Mercy, she was a survivor then turned into a fighter as she found her bite back.

“I’m either the queen by your side or a prisoner in a bell tower, but I can’t be both.

Ryker did a great job proving that she could find the girl who met him on the roundabout all those years ago. Mercy had a great comeback storyline and her love was shown through with the Noire kings.

Ryker may have gotten his girl back, but we knew it wasn’t going to be easy. With a roll of the dice, he took the chance to prove that he could be the man in her life to protect and support her, to be the queen alongside the Noire brothers.

Ryker & Mercy were burning up the pages! I loved the caring side, sweet tender moments, family bonding all over again, the banter and how they worked together falling in sync with each other. Brandy brings out the emotions for each of the characters in this story and really does bring them to life.

“You’re my heaven, but if you need me to be, I can be your hell. Prepare to be ruined.”

A brilliant opening to the Noire brother’s series!

Plus! We also have some familiar faces to catch up with!
