the scene where he compared her hands to flower petals? the scene where he reaches out to brush hair from her face but stops himself at the last moment and resigns to leaving with just the lighter? the scene where he bends down to tie her shoelaces and she pats him on the head and calls him a good boy? the scene where she calls for his hand and he indulges her and gives he the most adorable im so in love smile??!
One thing I thought was interesting with this volume specifically is that, mainly up to this point, we had a lot of "happy" moments of our leads being silly and doing random things. However, in this volume, we see some "hurt" feelings! I didn't really know what to make of it at first because it was the first time I've seen our female lead not "pout" from something that happened, but instead, was not able to "move on," so to speak, because of how hurt she seemed to be.
I liked it though! I think it made this manga feel even more "real" in the sense that these characters have a backstory that's not all happiness. Granted, I knew that, but like the moment where they are talking and our female lead makes a reference to her sisters or how she was told not to have long hair. Those few moments really pricked my heart!
On a lighter note, I think it has been confirmed that our male lead does, in fact, like our beautiful girl! No, he didn't say it outright, but there was one moment where you could see that longing! Plus, a later scene where they both are touching each other, and he looks at her to see if it meant anything more than the non-romantic act she was doing.
I'm very excited to see what happens next and truly hope that we see the next two volumes before the year ends!
About her skin, she says “like a boiled egg”. About cognac, she says “like the color of your eyes”. She’s not blonde, her hair is “transparent gold”. He’s not a red head. He has “auburn hair”.
Me tienen loca.
[chapter 37 - 45] ‘love is in the details’ in action. What do you mean he got distracted looking at her hands <3 is it because shes blind that their interactions are more sensual? And the different ways that she enjoys sightseeing (as she cannot see). Also, the way he expresses himself? ^.^ i wish my man is as gentle. “I wish I had a camera, I’ll just burn it into my eyes”. (Stop right there T.T) They are so cute
