Methods in Stomatal Research

Rate this book
After laying the foundations for investigations of stomatal structure, function, metabolism and behavior, under both natural and controlled conditions, the authors provide the complete spectrum of methods for studying stomata, ranging from techniques used to investigate populations of plants to those employed in advanced biochemical studies on cellular and subcellular material. A concise overview of each technique combined with a discussion of its merits and disadvantages is included. Although the emphasis is on practical applications, theory has been included where appropriate.
