Everyone’s favourite reformed underwear thief turned hitman returns in his latest escapade following the events of Discreet Rear Entrance. But this time, there’s a very good chance that Jimmy Eyebrow may have bitten off far more than he can chew.

When an old friend turns up asking for Eyebrow’s assistance on what should be a simple job, things quickly spiral out of control in true Jimmy Eyebrow fashion as he and his madcap group of travelling companions soon find themselves dodging more danger than ever before. Whether it’s by plane, boat, ’72 Kombi or pedal-powered rickshaw, the race to stay one step ahead of their pursuers will push Eyebrow and his friends to the limit. And with the stakes higher than they’ve ever been, one thing is certain – not everyone’s getting out of this one unscathed.

While this book can be read standalone, it is best enjoyed after reading Discreet Rear Entrance Volumes I and II. But whichever way you choose to approach it, strap in, clench the sphincter and ready yourself for a wild ride like no other.

About the author

Lou Powers

3 books1 follower
Ex soldier, sports coach, former IT professional, previously unemployed bum and one-time pizza delivery driver who once fell agonizingly short of the one-night delivery record at the shop that served as inspiration for one of the settings in this book, Lou Powers weaves aspects of his entire life into his stories, often drawing on real-life experiences for inspiration.

In full understanding that his works are as likely to win a literary award as he is of being appointed the Archbishop of Canterbury, he instead hopes simply that you get enjoyment out of his stories and read them through the same ridiculous lens with which they were written.

The first two books were a hilarious farce but in this one, you can see the author's evolution with regards to structure and storyline. The first books were a lot of fun and this one is no different, except for the fact that it's also a REALLY good book. Don't get me wrong... the first two were also, but in their own way. This latest book is a great addition to the series and if the author continues on this trajectory, big things might be ahead. Highly recommended, although it's best to read the first two books first because there's a lot of background information that's useful. It can be read by itself if you must, but you're far better to read the first two as there are several recurring characters that play key roles.

Love this series. Still odd to read a book set in the USA that uses terms that are decidedly not American.
