Nora came to Briarwood for peace and quiet. A new job as head librarian, a cozy apartment above the bookstore, and absolutely no distractions.
Then three men walked into her life like they owned the place.
Ethan is the golden retriever history teacher who volunteers for every library event—and looks way too good in rolled-up sleeves.
Grayson is the grumpy author who insists on writing in the back corner and glaring at anyone but her.
And Liam? Liam’s the firefighter with a wicked grin who never learned the meaning of “inside voice”… or “keep your hands to yourself.”
They’re not subtle. Not even a little. And when late-night shelving turns into stolen kisses between the stacks, Nora realizes they don’t just want her body—they want all of her.
The quiet life can wait.
Because three men are making a very persuasive case… and the librarian might finally be ready to throw out the rulebook.
4/5 Stars ⭐️ 0/5 Spice This was an unexpected closed door romance lol
MFMM (tho potential for other crossings based on how the book was worded a few times). Why choose New beginnings Cozy/ No angst read
This was a cute book, no drama, all love. I was surprised by the no spice given I read another book by this author that included spice just earlier today. It was a cute read regardless
Truthfully, this felt rushed and shallow. The story lacks detail and emotional depth, and the characters never quite come alive. There isn’t anything particularly special about the FMC that explains why the MMC is drawn to her beyond the fact that she’s new in town, which makes the romance feel unearned. Nothing about this book stood out enough to leave a lasting impression.
Nora moves to Briarwood to become the Head Librarian, where she quickly becomes a respected community member, keeper of books, and enforcer of the quiet zone. I absolutely loved her character. Then there are the three best friends determined to tempt her—Liam, the firefighter who can’t keep his hands to himself; Ethan, the golden retriever type who’s always eager to help; and Grayson, the broody author who basically takes up residence in her library.
My only complaint? I wish the story had been longer so we could see more of the relationships develop!
