Xandar and his team have successfully managed to defeat the Vorath on the mining planet, but when they get home, chaos awaits them. There’s a traitor working for the Vorath queen, attacking the humans from the inside where they are most vulnerable. Xandar and his crew need to pull out all the stops to find the traitor in their midst before it’s too late. Because the Vorath are coming. And with all the chaos surrounding them, the humans are sitting ducks.


Here, you can really see how much impact AI can have on the future. So many jobs have been taken over by AI here that when AI doesn’t work anymore, humans become useless. Because they don’t have anything left to replace AI. They have given away that knowledge, those skills and those old technologies out of convenience. For example, humans don’t drive cars anymore, an AI does that for them. What happens when AI is taken away from them? They’re forced to walk because they don’t have any alternatives. They have simply become too dependent on AI.


The stakes are high in this one. The mystery is good and builds up nicely as the final battle approaches. It’s interesting that we get a few chapters with the Vorath queen as the narrator too. We see how different the humans and the Vorath are and think. I also like how the Vorath queen asks if the humans really have the audacity to claim that they always take the moral high road.


Interesting ending for quite a strong trilogy. Recommended. Though I have to admit there’s one plot point in particular that feels a bit too predictable. I wouldn’t have minded the story taking a path less travelled.

This finale hits with intensity from the very first page. The Vorath queen’s advance raises the stakes to their highest, and the fast, twist-filled pacing kept me turning pages late into the night.
Xandar’s growth is the heart of the book—watching him evolve into a compassionate yet powerful leader was genuinely moving. Ranjana Joshi uses those final chapters to explore life, death, sacrifice, and meaning with surprising philosophical depth.
It’s rare for a trilogy to stick the landing this well, but The Last Stand absolutely does. Vivid, emotional, and impossible to put down.

This is the third and final book in the trilogy of sci-fi series Gravity’s Edge.

Xander returns to a planet full of chaos. Politics, sabotaging and machines all hell bent on destroying humanity. With Vorath deploying the ultimate weapon, the Annihilator, will Xander be able to stop the extinction of lives and planets on time? Or will everything fall as per the plan of the Vorath queen? Read this to find out.

A fitting ending to a thrilling space saga. It has all the elements of its predecessors. It is full of twists and turns, fast pacing and high octane drama, making it impossible to put down. All the characters do justice with their roles with Xander having the most growth. I loved his evolution since the first book.

Author has done a commendable job in creating panic, air filled with tension, the darkest moments of a planet which is at the edge of a collapsing, very beautifully. The world building is at its peak. A gripping tale of hope over despair and good over evil.

Highly recommended!! If you are a fan of sci fi, space thrillers or adventure series, then this is the perfect trilogy for you. Go for it.

From the beginning , Erythro is already burning and riots are malfunctioning healing machines turning it into killers, the political drama is at peak and it creates atmosphere of chaos. The narrative straightaway take you into collapse of a planet and is brimming with thrill.

The looming threat of Vorath, the destruction narrated truly stand out. Captain Xandar’s evolution in this final installment is powerful. You watch him stumble, break, rebuild, and rise again, carrying the weight of a world that may already be lost. Its his character which provides a human core to space war story into a sentimental, moving journey.

The author has delivered a story that is reflective, raw, and filled with the existential crisis that is profound.

This book offers a strong and immersive world that pulls you in from the start. Erythro feels alive even in its darkest moments. They feel wild, untouched and full of secrets. The antidote hidden within them feels like the last breath of hope. The looming presence of the Vorath armada adds a strong layer of fear. Their weapon, the Annihilator, feels like a shadow stretching over the planet. What makes the book memorable is the blend of emotion and world building. You experience fear, despair, courage and unity through every chapter. It is a powerful story of survival set against a grand and dangerous universe.

Gravity’s Edge: The Last Stand was a fast-paced and gripping read. What I liked most about the book was the feeling of tension throughout the story. The author has shown a very desperate, almost “last hope” kind of atmosphere, and it really kept me hooked till the end.

The characters, especially Captain Xandar and his crew, felt more human in this part of the series. Their struggles, doubts, and small moments of courage made the story feel real instead of just another sci-fi adventure. I also liked how the book balanced action with emotion—there were fights, but there were also moments that made me pause and think.

The plot moves quickly, and sometimes I had to catch up, but that actually added to the excitement. The threat they face feels huge, and the sense of sacrifice is strong, which made the ending hit harder.

It has action, tension, and emotional depth. If someone enjoys space adventures with high stakes, this one is worth reading. I personally enjoyed it more than I expected, and it left me thinking about the characters even after I finished.
