Total War: America's Roadmap to Victory

Rate this book
Total War is an idea created by Carl Van Clausewitz. It is the concept that all available resources and tactics should be brought to bear to win a war and destroy the enemy. The US used to fight using this style of warfare up until the end of World War II. The US has fought every war since then in a limited capacity, which has also limited its capacity for victory. This titled covers what total war is, how it has been used, and what must be changed in order to return to a place where America is once again winning wars. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand war and how to win it.
