Idk wtf going on here but it’s not enjoyable, none of the characters are actually likable. I’m over drama for the sake of drama with no real reason behind it. The writing was immature and it just felt disjointed I’m 7 chapters into a 15 chapter book and I don’t know anything worthwhile about my characters. I couldn’t make it to the end because I like my characters to have more than 7 braincells split between them.

Nothing about this book made sense. The description doesn’t match the storyline… at least not in this part. It was so much going on. We have Annika watching her neighbors daughter… who happens to be Wolf’s daughter but somehow Annika doesn’t know that he’s the father..even though he’s best friends with his sister. Ok.

Annika and her friends witnessed 2 women being murdered in front of a liquor store and the killer chases them. They lose him and still go to the club? lol Ok.

Wolf gets out of jail , gets his daughter and finds her mom sexin the dude he got into it with while he was in jail.. okay.

We have a random cooking competition /tv show that ended in just about everyone being murdered? The shooter happened to be someone Wolf went to culinary school with? Ok

These two fight and f*** then repeat basically. Just toxic as hell and at the end of the book I forgot this was supposed to be about an arranged marriage. Both end up in jail and we’re left with a “to be continued”. Honestly, not every book needs to be a series 😭😭😭

This was a Tubi movie I couldn’t look away from, but as bad as it was.. will I read part 2? Probably lol because WTH is going on.

Loved it!!!

Overall this is a good read. Take your time reading it. It's a slow, but progressive story. I can't wait for the next part. Just read the damn book.

WT F did I just read

Don’t let anyone tell you this book was good. That’s a bold face lie. It was written well, like the grammar was perfect. The thought process was all over the place. Didn’t need a cliffhanger. What was the purpose of the killer cook off? The sex isn’t even worth the attitudes between the two. How has this felon been caught with a gun numerous time and nothing. Like, just, no.

They were so childish...

Annika and Wolf were behaving like children, the only time they got along was when they had sex. The word nicca was used so many times, the dialog was choppy. I did not like this book at all and that's rare because I love exploring new authors catalogs but this was not it.

Annika pissed me off a little bit but I get it but I don’t get (that’s all I’m a say on tht) Jane I wanna fling her dumba** across a river somewhere like wtf 🤬 permie FIGHT ME!!! That’s all abt her. And cheekie I just wanna hold and squeeze her. Anyway part one is the set up but this next part princess bout to throw her whole damn body in there. I’m seated and waiting.

I really enjoyed this even tho it was a slow burn but however I’m upset my girl Annika is locked up bc of Big Perm couldn’t bow down gracefully. Ik the addicted Janis was going to pull a goofy I thought she was going to kidnap Cheekie or tell the police about Basik but this cow went and told the police he kidnapped their daughter.. and now we have a cliffhanger

Not My Cup of Tea

I hate when things don’t make sense. So Wolf was in prison for 4 years but he has a baby in diapers, that can’t walk or talk? Then you can tell that this book is a spin-off. However, it’s no warning at the beginning so that you can go reference the other book. Then lastly, all of the characters are immature. Definitely a waste of time.

Whew… this one was a ride. Annika and Wolf don’t even meet until about the halfway mark, and then out of nowhere we take a sharp left turn into a cooking competition 🤨 that honestly went nowhere and added nothing to the story. By the time I hit 80%, we still hadn’t gotten to the actual arranged marriage part of it all.

And the kicker? The author didn’t even mention it’s a series! If I’d known, maybe I would’ve set my expectations differently. As it stands, it just felt incomplete.

FINALLY!!!!

I am so glad to finally get to read about Wolf and Annika but, damn why did it have to be a cliff hanger!! I loooove the way Wolf brings that BDE but he needs to work on his communication skills, and Annika needs to play it cool with play boy Wolf until she knows the lay of the land cause don't play with her!! I can't wait until the next book so we can get a peak into who shot up the restaurant, what's gonna happen with Janis junkie a$$, and definitely what else develops between Wolf and Annika!! 🎉🎉🌶🌶🌶🌟🌟🌟

Book 2?

Firstly, Book 1 does not match up to the title… arraigned marriage? Wolf’s wife? Maybe this was the set up for us to get the back story but it did not match up to the title. It was a really good story though… I will give it that. However, it progressed really fast. The love between the MMC and FMC was almost instant, but it’s a love/hate situation and I HATE it so much. They are so exhausting. I can’t wait to see how everything ties into each other in the next book, and that cliff hanger? Yikes

Absolutely Wolf

This book was just as good as all of Ms. Diamond’s others. I am so happy to reunite with this family. I hate that Quick had to get left in Jail but Wolf is already out on his crap. However Annica is the one to put him in his place. I’m so over Janet crazy insensitive self. However all hell is about to break loose, my girl in jail and now these brothers are about too loose it with what just happened. Great read I need book 2

Wolf is a mess

Wolf is hell. How you have a baby with a crackhead your on and off again gf is crazy af and he’s even crazier. Annika is looking for a man to be a man and not play games but she has a lot of growing to do herself. Annika and Wolf are very good together just TOXIC but I believe they can be way more especially when he see she knows his daughter. This is a very good read

Disappointed

First time saying this for Cole Heart but the story line is horrible. Like how did the entire book just by pass that the woman Wolf is seeing lives next door to his baby mama. And how could the new girl be so close to the baby and keeps her all the time and the author not bring that together as in him being seen with his baby and the baby recognizing Annika. Like what? Too many loop holes in the story smh.

I knew you were going to get me. Wolf my kind of guy. Can cook, joke,wear you out,command the room and make you jump for joy. Can't wait for the next rollercoaster ride. Wtf did i just read lol. there were so many parts just thrown together and im like how do you think this made sense. i feel like there was multiple drafts for different books and it was like fuck it let puts this shit together. idk i just dont know. i kept reading because i was hoping it made sense, by the end i was still lost.

Annika has a good heart and does everything for her friends and has a hand in cooking and kept getting the jokers till she bossed up with a King Wolf , I hope Janis get everything she has coming to her and Wolf will be ok ,what will seal the deal is when Cheekie sees annika that will make Wolf fall deeply in love with her more

So where the arranged marriages??

The plot does not give off arranged marriage vibes, so that is misleading. The chemistry between Wolf and Annika is there, but they are dysfunctional as hell. Overall, while the book was enjoyable, I will not be returning for book two.
