Ken Wade provides a compelling, though fictional account of possible major players in end-time events, bringing to life the "end-game" in the great controversy between good and evil. Thankfully, Wade's account adheres to the apocalyptic prophecies of Daniel and Revelation much more faithfully than the unfortunately better-known "Left Behind" series, which by comparison swing wildly into human flights of fancy and imagination.
This book examines the lives of different people in the time of the end. It took me a little while to get into the lives of the people, but after the first few chapters I found myself totally captivated by each persons involvement in the story. The more I read, the more engrossed in the story I became. Eventually, each storyline brought them all together into one main story. I found it so important to find out what happened next that I had a hard time putting the book down. My wife and I went to a move with some friends and I actually took it into the theater with me, I had to know how it ended. As I finished the last few pages, I could hear my friends saying: "It must be pretty good!" I read the last page, looked up at them with a smile and tears running down my face and replied: "That was a great book!" This is a great book of Christin fiction. I have and will continue to recommend it highly. If you get into the lives of the characters in book, you will have a hard time putting it down all the way to its climatic ending.
