The correct book description for Be My Pal follows:
Preschoolers are invited to join Rolie Polie Olie and his little sister, Zowie, as they figure out how to be siblings AND best friends.

My thoughts:
This is a wonderful story for a little boy welcoming a new baby sister into the family. It eases sibling rivalry fears and offers a positive spin on the process of becoming a big brother. Plus, it is so darn cute visually and the rhyming text is just irresistible for little ones and their parents.

This was my daughter's favorite book when she was little. She had to have it read to her every night before bed. One night she spent the weekend with Da (Grandma) and Da let her stay up until she fell asleep. At 2am, mt daughter woke up in a panic and wanted the book read to her. In distress, Da called me after not being able to find where the book went and an hour later after being unable to calm her down (full blown toddler tantrum), Da called me. I had the book memorized and read the book to my daughter over the phone. She fell asleep shortly after.
My daughter passed away 2 years ago. I keep the book close to me and still read it often.
