I enjoyed the conclusion of the kitty attack on Wendelstein, and seeing some brief memories from Kunagi- not much, but enough to bring even more mystery to his character. Jones is such a cutie, and I really love all the characters, especially Kunagi and Karoun.
With the defeat lingering, Kunagi and Karoun decice to go get Kunagi's bell back and investigate the strange building he remembers. I'm glad the story is finally expanding and getting to the root of the cause of the cat-tasrophe, but in this volume only half the book was actually main plot, the other half was some strange take on Squid Games but cat themed instead, and a whole load of new characters. I was slightly disappointed by this, but I think it's going to be relevant to the main plot, as it reads like backstory stuff.
Oh, and the side story about the manga author was good too, oddly inspirational and heartwarming for him to see that even during the apocalypse cats are enjoying his work...just maybe not in the same way humans do!
I still am enjoying this series immensely, I hope the next volume doesn't have as much filler as this one did, but regardless I'm always up for reading about cat shenanigans!!
