Needs work

This story felt rushed and under written.
Some things were repetitive. I wish the story was told a little more from the characters instead of narrating their thoughts, feelings and actions then it would have been more room for details.
Chapter 8 the detectives leave Lilian’s home after telling her about her husband. Lilian gets an upsetting call and decides she needs to get rid of evidence that incriminates her so she rushes out of the house and drives to a river bank. The problem with this part is Lilian five year old granddaughter is in the house. Did we forget that? She used that line so much as to why she could not leave the house. If she left a five year old in the house by herself that should have been addressed in the story. If she had her in the backseat and took her with her that should have been in the story.
Here is one more thing that had me puzzled . Jonathan and Porsha take Saint to the hospital. When they arrive Jonathan gets ready to get out the car , but Saint tells him no Porsha will take him in. They go back and forth as to why he can’t. Saint sees a security guard rushing their way with a wheelchair. Why?! Why is a security guard rushing their way, no one got out of the car so how would a “security guard” know to rush to their vehicle for assistance.

This book made as a good page turner, with the characters and the plot, but the repetitiveness and lack of details in some areas could not be overlooked for me. I can’t even speak on the epilogue if that’s what we are calling it.
