This series will FOREVER live rent-free in my heart 🧡 and this book was the most incredible ending to the journey. To think Vanessa almost didn’t write it blows my mind — because honestly, it’s everything I wanted and more.
If you’ve read book 2, you’ll understand why I begged for more (and let’s be real… you probably did, too 😆). And if you haven’t started the series yet, consider this your sign — strap in, because the finale will absolutely ruin you emotionally.
Emma (our FMC) and I haven’t always seen eye to eye! In book 1, her youth and what I called ‘whinging’ sometimes made it hard to root for her. That being said, i guess she did have valid reasons to complain... so maybe it was just me in my late 30s finding it hard to identify? OR....im a b*tch 💁🏼♀️😆 BUT her character development has actually been phenomenal. In book 2, we watched her grow, and in this finale, she reached new levels of awesome! The fact that her 'trying to fix things' becomes a running joke is simply brilliant.
On top of all this, the book brings a brand new POV (no spoilers 👌), ride-or-die friendships, and a love interest that will make you absolutely melt 🫠
It’s the perfect send-off for a series I’ll never forget.

I just finished the final book in this trilogy, and it delivered everything I was hoping for. The character growth, especially for Emma, was phenomenal. Watching her evolve felt so natural and earned, and the emotional depth the author poured into her journey was so vivid it practically breathed off the page.
I also loved the addition of the second POV. I don't want to say who because of possible spoilers. It gave so much insight into a beloved character and added layers that made the story even richer. Their arc was handled with such care, and likely an abundance of research.
This finale tied the series together with heart, honesty, and a warm, satisfying conclusion. I am glad the author chose to give them an ending that felt both realistic and hopeful.
Oooh this book. This book did something to me. The fact she was the fricken descendant of Jesus Christ! And her blood was the only way to kill the antichrist! Oof and her and Gabe do get back together. But he dies in the end because of a demon knife. But in the end, they were given the choice to go back to earth as new humans or move on to paradise. They both choose to go back to Earth. Where they meet each other again. And he did get his Labrador in the end.💙💙
