Paesha Vox thought she’d found it all. A way to save Quill. Friends that had become family. A love to fight for. But one truth unraveled it all, and nothing will ever be the same.
Thorne Noctus lied. About everything. About his name. About his twin brother. About the blood-soaked war they’ve both been waging—with Paesha caught in the middle. Now that the veil between their cities is shattered, she can finally return to Quill, but the reunion isn’t what she’d hoped it would be. Quill has made a new godly friend of her own, and Paesha knows all about the dangers of making deals with gods. She’s still caught in a bargain with one, and failing to find the final broken soul ends up costing her everything.
Trapped in time when Paesha learns truths he’d kept hidden, Thorne is desperate to return to the woman he loves. He has a score to settle with his brother. A war that’s spanned lifetimes, but Thorne soon discovers Ezra isn’t his only problem. Paesha took more than just his heart when she left Stirling. She took the power his brother has always feared she would find. This is the Huntress’s final life, and Thorne will do whatever it takes to save her. Even if it means stepping into the domain of the Fates, where no god dares tread.
The gods are no longer watching. They’re afraid.
A sweeping romantasy filled with reincarnated love, ancient prophecies, and god-tier enemies, this is book two in a duology within the Never Sky series. Start with Nevermore or begin the journey at the very beginning with Till Death.
Blood and Promise was the debut new adult, high fantasy, fae novel for Miranda Lyn. She grew up smack dab in the middle of the United States with nothing to do but dream up stories of fantastical creatures and powerful heroines. Now married with three children of her own, an idea sparked a buried passion within her to follow a dream and teach her children that anything is possible if you’re willing to work hard for it.
What an incredible finale to Paesha’s journey! This book wrecked me in the best way, it’s heartbreaking and breathtaking all at once. The banter is razor-sharp, the emotions cut deep, and the found family element might honestly be one of the most beautifully written I’ve ever read.
The world building and mythology are nothing short of exquisite. There’s constant momentum action, tension, and twists that kept me glued to the pages. And then there’s Thorne… absolute perfection. He’s the kind of MMC who makes you swoon while also breaking your heart.
Paesha herself is everything you want in a heroine: strong, resilient, and clever, yet also tender, loving, and fiercely brave. Watching her grow and fight made me adore her even more. Add in the meddling gods, morally gray characters, and jaw-dropping reveals, and you’ve got a story that hits on every level.
A phenomenal, soul-stirring conclusion. I loved every moment of it. Thanks to Miranda Lyn for the gifted arc!
3.5 ⭐️ thank you to the realm studios and Miranda Lyn for the gifted arc!! The first half of this book took me over two weeks to get through, but I finished the second half within a couple of days. I really struggled with the first half and considered dnf’ing, but the second half was really good so I’m glad I stuck with it and was able to finish Thorne and Paesha’s story. If the first half of the book had been cut in half I think my rating would’ve been higher. My favorite part of this series is the found family, and some of the found family in this installment HURT. It took a hot minute for Thorne and Paesha to even start fixing things, but their banter and romance that I loved from the first book finally came back around the 50% mark. I don’t want to spoil anything because I will say I did really enjoy this duology despite the really slow first half of this book.
I really enjoy this book. I love that we had a recap in the very beginning picks up where the last book left off my heart Miranda you trying to break it. I love the story. I love the twist. I just loved everything about it.
Evermore by Miranda Lyn -Never Sky Series, book 3-
2.75/5⭐️ 2/3🌶️ (4ish scenes) 2/3🦋
•My Thoughts• I was so excited for the conclusion to Paesha and Thorne’s story. I adored the first book in this duology and the world the author created. Unfortunately, I really struggled with a lot things in this one. The plot went through so many cycles of climax to failed resolution and it felt so long (when it was only 600ish pages which isn’t bad for a romantasy). The story felt really complicated with all the characters, gods and twists, I found it hard to keep track of everything. There were also a few choices with character development and plot that didn’t resonate with me and definitely added to my struggle (happy to share more but they’re spoilers). I did really enjoy the banter between the characters and the found family was beautiful and a highlight for me. I’ve enjoyed other books by this author and I plan to read more in the future. This one just wasn’t for me!
Thank you to Miranda Lyn for the early copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Once again Miranda sucked me into a world unlike any other. Paesha’s story is one worth reading- it’s heartbreakingly beautiful. As always, the banter had me cackling- the tension had me swooning- and the story had me crying. The found family theme remained strong with side characters that capture your heart and our MMC was broody and hot - what more could you want? 😂. Overall this was a perfect ending to Paesha’s journey🩵💚
Thank you to Miranda for entrusting me with an early copy! It is an honor to be part of your street team!
Dual POV(!), meddling gods, found family, so many bargains, groveling, pining, banter, mysteries and secrets, past lives, mental health rep, impossible tasks, betrayal, feminine rage, she messes with him, twists, everyone is morally grey, shadow mommy, he will sacrifice anything for her, alllll the emotions
Paesha has made her way back to Quill, but finds much changed and yet another meddling god entrenching herself into her family. She has learned Thorne was lying to her, but she also has a bargain hanging over her head that is about to be called in. Thorne finds his hands tied due to his own bargain and is frantically trying to find a way to save Paesha. The war between him and his brother continues as he desperately seeks to keep her alive. On top of fighting off his brother, they must find an answer to the power that is driving Paesha mad and unravel plots that have been in the making for ages.
I finished this book and stared blankly at the wall for a bit while processing and being a little teary eyed - happy tears! Then I messaged Miranda that this book is perfection! Did she also destroy me before this amazing end? Yes. But I trusted the process and got such a great ending. I am so, so happy we got Thorne's POV! It definitely made a few parts much more impactful and I loved seeing his story arc as well as Paesha's. Besides our main relationship, we also got our found family with such great friendships and I adore the mother/daughter relationship between Paesha and Quill. Such an emotional conclusion (at least for now) of the Never Sky series!
(Oh and I can't wait to reread via audio when it comes out!!😍)
“If you need me, I’ll come. Don’t let that anger consume you. I’m not afraid of those shadows. I’ll stand there and let you cut me down a thousand times if you need to stretch that power. Break me. Crush me. Just let it be me and no one else.”
Thank you to Miranda Lyn for the free gift! All opinions are my own.
Evermore by Miranda Lyn sweeps readers into a high-stakes romantasy where love, power, and fate collide. This conclusion to Paesha’s journey is filled with intense emotion, godly conflict, and the kind of tension that makes you hold your breath from page to page.
What stood out to me most was how deeply Miranda Lyn makes you care for her characters. I lost count of how many times my heart broke for Paesha because her struggles and sacrifices felt so raw and real. The emotional push and pull between Paesha and Thorne had me completely hooked, and the constant power plays between gods kept the tension sharp and the stakes sky-high.
There wasn’t anything that didn’t work for me. This was exactly the ending I hoped for and more. It was as intense as it was beautiful, tying together the threads of love and destiny across time and lifetimes.
An epic, emotional finale, Evermore is perfect for readers who love reincarnated romance, mythic intrigue, and characters you can’t stop rooting for long after the last page.
This book made me feel like I was torn apart and put back together with paper mache. I think I’m whole but inside I’m still just mush.
I don’t even know how to review this book without spoiling the plot but just know you’ll feel every emotion under the sun. You’ll never trust Miranda again because she is capable and willing to do the unthinkable to your favourite character with zero remorse.
The plot twists were impeccable. The love story is full of yearning, grovelling, growth and forgiveness. Family is forged through love, loss and loyalty.
I’m actually sad that Paesha’s story has come to its conclusion. I genuinely love all these characters and would have happily stayed in this realm with them forever.
Thank you to Miranda and her team for the eARC of this book. This is my honest opinion.
After reading Nevermore I was so excited to read the conclusion to the Duology about Paesha. And this book has so many great quotes I can't choose!
I loved Paesha's energy and her just being a total badass. The next to quotes I loved! "Someone has to maintain order in this chaos you call a filing system. You organized the books by color rather than subject." "It's aesthetic." "It's ridiculous. Tuck nearly had an aneurysm when he saw what you'd done to the library." And I've also rearranged my books by color and its SOOO aesthetically pleasing, so yes I understand Paesha!
"You're mean. Has anyone ever told you that?" I rolled my eyes. "Yes, yes. All the time." And this one I just relate hahah
The beginning of the book continued where book 1 ended. It was all chaos, gods, and hating Thorne. The found family had to find a way to get all back together and beat the fates and Ezra. I'm not gonna tell more, you should just read the book haha
Just een FYI be prepared to get your heart broken multiple times! Miranda wrote another masterpiece. I can't wait to read more by her!
"I have loved her longer than there were stars in most skies. I have chased her through a thousand lifetimes, watched her live and die and live again, each time hoping she would finally be mine. Not because I want to own her, but because loving her is as natural as breathing, as inevitable as dawn following night."
Wow. Just WOW. I don't even know where to start. Evermore picked up where we left off at the end of Nevermore, lots of revelations had just occurred, lot of feelings are being felt. There's hurt, anger, betrayal, all of it conflicting with a love so deep it spans lifetimes.
Paesha is back, she's reunited with Quill, and she has a lot to work through. This book did such an excellent job of portraying grief, vengeance, madness, and everything in between. I hurt with the characters, I smiled and laughed with them, I cried with them, oh boy did I cry with them. The Never Sky universe is dark and beautiful, and I felt so completely immersed from the second I opened the book until I finished. Thorne and Paesha's "happily ever after" was hard earned and bittersweet, but we made it.
Thank you, Miranda, for the opportunity to read an early copy, I'm so grateful to be your "first ARC reader" <3

Paesha has found her way back to Quill, and discovered that Thorne is actually a God, who has been lying to her. Paesha finds herself plagued by the voices of the previous incarnations of the Huntress, who have all died at Ezra's hand, and they are slowly driving her insane. If she dies again at the hand of a God, this time, she won't be reincarnated. With the unwavering support of Archer, and with Thorne desperate to prove himself worthy of her, can she survive, and rewrite the balance of power to save the mortals?
THIS BOOK. Oh my word. It is everything - joyful, maddening, devastating, beautiful. Paesha is the strongest FMC I think I've ever read. She is constantly at war - with Thorne, with her own mind, with the Fates, with other Gods, with Ezra, with anyone threatening Quill or her family. I was exhausted for her! Every time you thought she might be beaten, she'd find a kernel of strength again. Thorne is exasperating at the beginning, but you find yourself forgiving him and rooting for him and Paesha, in their fight to restore balance to the world and to save her sanity, but also romantically.
Found family is a massive part of this book, and it is so beautifully written - I think it's my favourite part of the book overall. No single member of the supporting cast is without their flaws, but their love for each other is absolute. Be warned though - there is a moment that will SHATTER your heart!
This was a rollercoaster ride, with superb tension and high stakes drama throughout, and a thoroughly wonderful ending to this duology. Miranda Lyn has created a work of magnificence, and nothing less would have been suitable for a character like Paesha.
Also - can every author do a recap like Miranda did at the start of Evermore please?!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review this book!
I went into Evermore with sky high expectations. After loving the first two books in Miranda Lyn’s The Never Sky Series, I thought this installment would cement it as a god tier series for me. Her audiobooks are top tier, so I listened, and the book started really strong. Miranda Lyn narrated the hilarious recap she wrote, which was such a treat, but somewhere along the way, I started to lose steam.
There’s no denying Lyn’s talent. She is an amazing writer and her world building is top tier. So many aspects of Evermore were compelling. We get Thorne’s POV chapters, Paesha’s arc is darker and more fragile as she struggles under the fallout of Nevermore, and we’re reintroduced to our favorite characters from Till Death in ways that felt both nostalgic and refreshing.
But with all of that came a flood of lore, gods, and prophecies layered on top of each other. Instead of deepening the story, it began to overwhelm it. The pacing suffered under the weight of so many moving parts, and the slow burn love story that made Nevermore so gripping felt buried. Lyn leaned heavily into Paesha and Archer’s friendship, and the dynamic between Paesha and Thorne that I loved became secondary and sometimes nonexistent.
By the time I reached the end, I was tired. And that bums me out, because I truly thought this series would be an all time favorite. Evermore isn’t a bad book by any means. We get the banter and humor we’ve come to love from Lyn, found family, and high stakes reveals that left me reeling, but I also thought there was a lack of balance between everything that was thrown at us. Miranda Lyn is still an author I’ll continue to read, but Evermore just missed the mark for me.
What a story. From the beginning of Paesha's story in Nevermore all the way through this one, I loved that woman. (You can't convince me she isn't real). She is a fierce and sassy fmc who had me laughing to wanting to rage and fight on her behalf within seconds. Much like this story. I cried, laughed, cried some more, laughed some more, threw my kindle, and delved deep into the world of meddling gods and twists and turns I just never saw coming.
The story contains so much heartbreak and love and fight and passion. All the while being fun and exciting to read. The pacing of the story was excellent and I couldn't put it down. It was a major rush of differing emotions page to page and I loved it. I would 1000 times yes recommend to everyone who loves an emotional and captivating story. The motto: Fight for love. Fight for yourself. Fight for your family and your friends.
And I think the best part is that family isn't always blood, sometimes it's found. The found family in this story is incredible.
Although this one was lighter on the romance and banter, Thorne was swoon worthy. I loved having his POVs in this novel. It added so much to the story's depth.
6🌟 omg this book!!! I laughed and bawled and fell so in love with characters. my heart broke multiple times and then was out back together. I LOVED THIS BOOK! Miranda Lyn really knows how to make you adore a character and then rip your heart out!! peasha, beautiful, complicated Peasha - I love her story, her strength, her doing family. Thorne, how I thought I hated you, but really I love you as Peasha does. Archer!!!! 😭😭😭 Quill ❤️ ugh I seriously loved these characters and the growth of them all. thank you for this book Miranda Lyn! 🥲🫶🏼
I was happy with the conclusion of this story, but wow were there a lot of twists and turns along the way. Just when you think you know what all is going on another huge event happens or huge piece of information is shared.
I really enjoyed the dual POVs as it made the story much fuller and added depth. I also loved how the found family aspect was delved into deeper as well. The love story was very complicated and yet I enjoyed how things slowly unfolded. And I was happy with how it all ended.
Having said all that, I was left with a few questions hanging and thought that at times this felt a little long. I enjoyed the series overall and would recommend it.
A story of seduction and sorrow, vengeance and redemption that captured me from the beginning and didn't let go! This was the perfect book to follow Nevermore. Miranda does what she always does, the plot twists are *chefs kiss*, the banter and tension are THICK, and the heartbreak, well yeah it gets you. I absolutely resonate with and love Paesha full stop. This duology in the Never Sky series was perfection and I will take no critiques!
Miranda is RUTHLESS. You want twists, buckle up and hunker down. You want characters to die, grab the tissue. You want betrayal, put on your armour. You want tension and groveling, get on your knees. You want anger and rage, keep your watch on to monitor your heart rate. You want to be surprised and say "**** you Miranda!! SERIOUSLY..." pre-type that response now! You want love, romance, connection, unconditional love, and spice, read this alone 😉. You want found family and non-judgmental support, get your snuggle puppy ready! You may worry about your sanity while reading, be aware!
Miranda's introduction to the book was perfect. First, thanks for doing that, it is always so helpful to have a recap. Second, it was awesome to hear Miranda speak. She brought her authentic, genuine self, which was lovely.
I started with the audiobook and, of course, it was delectable. Once the book was available on kindle, I finished it by co-reading while listening. The narrators returned to finish the series, in duet style, and they did a fantastic job! Also, hiring someone to make music is a specific factor that makes Miranda's audiobooks stand out, they are so unique and the music is beautiful.
What a wild (insert curse word) ride! I thought Nevermore was really great, but this book was so much better. This feedback is coming from someone who loved, I mean loved, Nevermore. Miranda is such a thoughtful, descriptive, articulate, complex, and nuanced writer. Her writing shines so brightly in this book. The scenes, the deep passionate emotions the characters experience, and the descriptions of the plot and world are so thoroughly done that you as a reader have very strong emotional responses. I don't typically experience intense emotion, but this book pulled so much out of me. All throughout I was crying, grieving, excited, happy, laughing, cursing, sad, devastated, surprised, angry, and so much more. It is hard to have that many emotions provoked in one book that makes sense and the story isn't all over the place, but Miranda did it.
This books ties back to both Nevermore and Till Death. Guest appearances by Orin and Dey was one of my favorite moments. Dey continued to be her awesome self.
Now, let’s talk about Paesha. I love her. She is such a strong woman who is so empowering. She has boundaries and she sticks to them most of the time. So refreshing to have an MFC that isn't manipulated easy by other or guilts herself into changing her mind away from what her gut was telling her (like with her dad). I am a strong boundaried woman, so to read other women having strong boundaries with those who have abused them is beautiful.
Paesha learns alot in this book about herself, as well as about trust and forgiveness. She survives a range of losses, trials, and obstacles in this book and is challenged in various ways, always coming out stronger, even though in pain and feeling damaged. She has anger and rage, as well as intense fear, sadness, and grief; yet never forgets to be kind to those she loves and the less fortunate. She lashes out at times, while is thoughtful at other times. She has a range of emotions, behaviors, and thoughts that are nuanced and rooted in both trauma and a growth mindset. She is snarky and the small things that make her Paesha are woven into chapters all throughout the book.
Thorne also learns soooo much in this book and his growth is perfection. Gosh, he brought his A-game and I was all for it. He is also challenged in so many ways and he has to make choices that show Paesha he's growing, not just lip service that he will change. And, of course, Miranda does an excellent job showing his growth and not just telling us he grew.
The twists are super twisty, the betrayals are deep, and the mysteries are slowly revealed throughout the book. Plan to be on the edge of your seat and want to just keep reading and reading to see what happens next. The tension is thick and the banter is strong. The revelations are jaw dropping. I am intentionally being vague to not ruin the book for you!
This book truly does rip your heart out, stomp on it, sometimes says “just kidding” while laughing at your squished heart, and then puts things back together enough. It’s amazing!!

I didn’t love this one as much as ‘Nevermore’, but still a good read and conclusion to this duology! I will admit I didn’t focus super well on this one, so there are some things I may’ve tuned out or didn’t completely understand due to my comprehension. It was a solid 4/5 read for me though.
My thoughts: ~Absolutely obsessed with the recap of Book 1! ~Once again, the two narrators did a phenomenal job bringing all these characters to life! I enjoyed every bit of their performance. ~The background music is so epic and makes the audiobook experience feel like a movie! It added so many unique layers to the story. ~Loved the dual POV with Paesha & Thorne! Thorne’s perspective adds so much to the book and I really enjoyed his chapters. ~I’m also still obsessed with Thorne and the fact that he wears glasses! ~Yes, this is an adult-rated book and yes, I knew going in it was fantasy-romance… however! Unpopular opinions incoming: 1) I honestly think all the swearing (from every character) was super unnecessary and kind of took away from the story. Calling every single hated person a ‘f*cker’ got annoying very quickly. And 2) the spice was spicy, much more than in ‘Nevermore’ and while I was prepared for it, definitely be aware of it if it’s not something you’re in to. ~I will applaud the author for her well-written descriptions and imagery. I could never not picture the world—it was characters I for once got lost in. ~I feel as though I needed a recap of ‘Till Death’, the first book in the “Never Sky” series, because I feel like characters from that were suddenly brought back into this book that I did not remember at all and found it very confusing. ~Honestly, the first half of this book dragged and felt too complicated. It was hard for me to fully commit to the plot and understand the lore of the characters, while the second half was more action-packed & interesting. ~It felt more like a story connecting lore, rather than a set plot. Some of the reveals felt off & too many all at once. The parts I LOVED in book 1 were missing in this one. I didn’t fall into the story as much this time. ~If there was found family in this… did I miss it? It was really just Archer who was left. ~IN LOVE with Archer and his comedic timing!! Gabriel Michael plays him so well! ~The devastation in this book is UNREAL. Miranda Lyn we need to talk about what you did and why you did it. ~The reveals & twists were good. I did not expect any of them and was shocked by each one—some hurting way more than others. ~I was expecting more of a grand, action-y finale & end twist. What I got was not disappointing, but I was hoping for a little more. I had wanted a bigger fight between Thorne & Ezra.
Overall a good read. I'm not upset I read it, I just think my expectations were a little too high after absolutely loving 'Nevermore'.

I was absolutely enchanted by the recap and can hardly contain my excitement to hear Miranda's voice bringing it to life in the audio version! Normally, I prefer to skip recaps, but this one captivated me right from the start, creating the perfect vibe for a book that had me under its spell from the very first page.
This story is the ideal follow-up to Nevermore. I had the wonderful opportunity to read it ahead of its release, so I’ll keep my thoughts spoiler-free. I can’t say enough good things about Miranda Lyn’s talent as a storyteller. Fantasy novels transport us to incredible new worlds and adventures, but she has a remarkable gift for intertwining elements of real life into her magic, creating an utterly spellbinding experience. I connect deeply with Paesha; her struggles and life mirroring much of my own story, and witnessing her evolution from the moment we first encounter her in Till Death to her magnificent transformation into an empowered bad ass heroine in Evermore was a truly unforgettable journey. It’s rare for me to fall in love with an FMC, but Paesha Vox is everything I want for a female character- she is a strong, courageous, epic lead! She endures physical and emotional challenges without ever allowing them to define her. Through her darkest moments, she emerges not just as a survivor but as a hero not just for herself but for those she loves most. And who can forget her sassy banter and antics- this lady knows how to push all the right buttons!
Thorne’s pov added a beautiful layer to the story, deepening my love for him. This man who spans realms and centuries in search of the woman that owns his heart is the story we all dream of.
And, let us not forget that ML excels at creating not just an FMC/MMC to love but a full cast of characters that bring joy, laughter, and heartbreak, making me root for each of their happily ever afters. Every side character added depth and a sense of genuine connection, building a beautiful found family throughout the entire story.
I feel like this review could go on forever, so I'll close with this- this book had me in tears more than once, and it’s one I’ll cherish for a long time to come! (and will be diving into the audio the moment it's released)
A massive thank you goes to Miranda Lyn, for letting me read an e-ARC of Evermore! Not only does this dark romantic fantasy complete Paesha’s duology, it is the final book in The Never Sky series. And let me tell you, this finale? You will be broken, & need more tissues than there are stars in the sky. But I can promise you it is worth every tear, because this story is absolutely *magnificent*…
Paesha had been filled with hope, until an uncovered secret shattered everything. Discovering that she’s been in the middle of a war, for years beyond reckoning? Paesha’s heart is broken, as is her trust in anything but her love for the found family she forged in the darkness. With a deity circling her adopted daughter, Paesha’s determined to save Quill from the lies the gods can so easily spread. But as she’s unwillingly caught in a bargain of her own, Paesha’s freedom as she knew it is over. Can Thorne regain the trust Paesha gave him, or is their love broken beyond repair? Can this final life Paesha’s been given finally be the one to break the cycle of heartache & war? The broken will rise, & Fate will pay…
Glitterbugs, when I tell you Evermore is a must read romantic fantasy? I’m not kidding. In fact, I will tell you every single day to read this book until you agree to find your way to Paesha’s side. Paesha is proof that you can be broken & still rise. That you can be drowning in darkness, but still find the light. I’ve loved every single heroine Miranda has written, but Paesha? The Huntress is something special, & certainly one of my favourite FMCs I’ve ever read.
We have meddling gods, broken souls & a fiercely loyal found family. And that really is just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to what awaits you within these pages. It is both brutal & inspiring all at once. Miranda gives voice to the darkness of heartache & grief, but she doesn’t leave you there. And I am honestly just grateful beyond words to have ventured into this world...
An explosive, emotional, and perfect series finale.
Paesha’s journey, already paved with trauma and loss, reaches new depths. She’s not just fighting battles on the outside - she’s wrestling with voices in her own head, emotional torment, and the impossible weight of survival. Her strength has always been undeniable, but this installment pushes her to the brink in a way that’s both heartbreaking and inspiring. The few moments of comfort, humor, or even spice? So needed, and so perfectly timed.
I loved reconnecting with characters from throughout the series - Paesha’s found family is a constant, grounding presence amid all the chaos. Their reactions to her long absence and their unwavering commitment to their cause is both realistic and moving. Even more powerful is the seamless way Archie integrates with them. He’s angry and grieving, yet somehow still brings his trademark quirky energy, keeping the emotional weight from crushing the reader completely. I didn’t think I could love him more... but this proved me wrong.
One of the biggest highlights of this book is getting Thorne’s POV. His perspective adds such rich, emotional depth, showing us the torment he’s been carrying and the unrelenting love he still holds for Paesha. No longer just the mysterious Lord of the Salt or the powerful Keeper, Thorne seems human - broken, desperate, devoted.
The gods' interference comes to a head in spectacular, chaotic fashion. Just when you think you know what’s coming, everything flips on its head. New forces emerge, alliances shift, and the question of who to trust becomes a constant. The twists are masterful - clever, shocking, and completely satisfying.
Evermore is brutal and beautiful, devastating and hopeful, and this conclusion is everything I’ve been waiting for - and then some.
Well, I am truly and utterly speechless, and that’s a hard thing to accomplish with me. This book, my gods; this book broke me in the best way. So many amazing journeys we were taken on. Some quite fantastical and some completely agonizing.
This book captivated me from the first word of the recap and led me deeper into the hells of Paesha’s journey. It’s full of deception and secrets, allure and sorrow, rage and vengeance, and sweet sweet redemption. Miranda’s writing just has that way of sucking you in and giving you all the feels. It’s effortless and demands your full attention. And Paesha’s story definitely got my full undivided attention.
What a fantastic story this is and I am sad to be leaving this world. From the very moment we met Paesha, I knew she was going to be a force to be reckoned with. And boy oh boy was I right. She may have had to go through hell and back but she persevered. Her journey is full of intense emotion and so many gut punching setbacks that only make her fight harder against the insufferable losses she endured. Through it all, she is fierce and sassy with an unwavering loyalty to her “family”, especially Quill.
Paesha and Thorne together…OOF! What a dynamic pair with their unimaginable history of love and loss through a millennia. There is tension, angst, so much pining, mysteries, undeniable love and banter like you wouldn’t believe. My favorite part of their relationship dynamic is just how much Paesha loves to make Thorne squirm with her obsessive desire to rearrange his belongings. I don’t know how many times I laughed out loud.
I just loved everything about this book. Even though most of it broke my heart into a million little pieces; in the end it gave me a good squeeze and put all the tiny shattered pieces back together.
First thing to point out, this is a long book. But it’s a book full of conspiracies, secrets, fights, love and magic. I was so satisfied to see Paesha come to power and get her revenge in a way. I was also excited to see her and Thorne overcome the consequences of book 1.
The highlight of the book for me was the deep, string bond Paesha, Quill and Archer build. It was a beautiful friendship to the point that it will make you feel touched and even cry. It was just perfect and the writing made you feel it.
I was overwhelmed at parts in a good way. Mostly because this book has Paesha’s POV and Thorne’s POV, there’s a lot going on. Paesha is trying to live with her new power as well as hearing all the voices of her old souls’ lives. And Thorne keeps fighting for Paesha, not only to win her back but also save her life from the fates and the gods.
I have to say I loved that the fates turned out to be the enemy along with other characters of course. I don’t know why but fates are usually not the villain, usually they’re written as neutral but wow this one won me with that twist. Speaking of twist, don’t get me started on the Aeris twist, not only did I dislike her the entire time but that revelation was a punch in the face for me, just like it was to Paesha.
I loved the ending but wow was it tragic in some parts. Overall I loved how it turned out and that all went well. Of course, we will miss some characters but I was also happy to see Deyanira make a brief appearance. Amazing duology!

This duet (and trio if you consider Til Death, which IMO is a must read before this pair) … is must read. Probably my favorite read of 2025 and we are 9 months into the year and 70 books in.
I cannot express how much I love this FMC and MMC, their banter, his willingness to give up everything for her, the playfulness, their ability to find each other through it all… I could go on and on.
The good: 1. The heartbreak in the worst way that tears you apart and puts you back together. The tear wrenching kind. This book made me cry twice. Close to 3 times. Complete and total emotional damage that is going to take me time to recover from. Miranda Lyn does not shy away from taking out hefty side characters. 2. Quill - oh how I hope and pray she gets her own story in the future. I’d love to see this wrap back around to her. 3. Introduction of Minerva. I rarely like new side characters being introduced at this point in a series, but this worked and she really grew on me 4. Archer. That is all. 5. Fantastic world building and story telling. You feel like you are within the story as an extra
The not so good: 1. There were a couple spots of repitition in this book that pulled me out for a few, but not enough for me to rate this book down in the slightest. It’s me being nitpicky 2. I do feel like there are a couple loose ends. But I am assuming this is intentional for the possibility of Quill’s or future story or others
Wow! I just can’t put into words how much I love this series. For me, the story telling is just so beautifully written with so many elements to it. Each book has allowed me to just be completely immersed and feel all the emotions.
Evermore has been no different. It broke me, then hugged me and put me back together, albeit with an ache in my heart! I just absolutely loved it. I have nothing but good things to say and love in my heart for this book!
The world building is just amazing and so cleverly crafted. The characters are just divine. So nuanced and complex, but likeable ( for the most part - iykyk) and relatable too.
Paesha and Archer have my heart - I absolutely loved their dynamics and relationship in this book. They provided so many touching and heart wrenching moments, but moments of lightness, laughter and joy too. Not forgetting the MMC Thorne of course - I loved that we got his pov in this book. Loved Chapter one - what a start! What a fantastic character arc for him - he has a piece of my heart too. Actually so many of the characters do! The found family element of this book is everything ❤️
I feel sad that this series has finished but so privileged to have been able to read it too. It’s one I will definitely be coming back to. What a way to finish though! I would love to see more from the other characters in this world in the future.
Thank you so much to Miranda Lyn and her team for the opportunity to read an advanced copy, it was an absolute privilege. All thoughts and opinions are my own and honestly given.
This was such an epic bittersweet finale to Paesha and Thorne's storyline. This book absolutely ripped out my heart and broke me, but in the best way only excellent books can. Miranda has created an absolutely spellbinding world with The Never Sky series and I am so sad that it is at a close, at least for now.
As you can typically find in her work, the banter is top tier, like I've alluded to, the emotional impacts are HARD and very very deep cut. But the most beautiful connections are found in the found family element. I may even love the found family the most. The connections Paesha had built are touching and will give you the best smile, you can feel the bond, the love, echoing off the pages.
The world building has continued to impress. The lore, the Gods, the world itself is so detailed and balances all the action, the tension, the heartache and plot twists you never see coming perfectly. Then we get to our love interest, Thorne. Can you say millennia of pining? This man is the definition of "I will crawl home to her" He is so beautifully heartbreaking. You will be in tears over him while swooning and falling apart alongside Paesha.
Lastly, Paesha, our heroine. I can't even put into words the levels of this character. She is so complex in the best way, layered only true heroines can be. She is strong, clever, loving, fierce, broken and resilient. Watching her character grow has been remarkable, and just like with Thorne you will cry and grieve with her, you will sigh with relief in her happy moments and cheer her on as the world seems to be against her.
I cannot recommend this series enough. I cannot recommend Miranda Lyn's writing enough. This was phenomenal and you will absolutely not regret picking it up.
Thank you so much to Miranda Lyn for the e-arc. All opinions are my own.
Gosh!! Another story with a heartbreak got me messaging Miranda for breaking hearts, but in the end, everything was worth it. With Miranda, I am always sure that she will break you, but will definitely mend you by the end of it. So, 'The Never Sky' series comes to an end with this book, but I want more. The story was like an addiction that I don't want to get rid of. I’ll be waiting for the future.
Now, on to the actual story. It starts where it left off in Nevermore, and it even has a good glimpse of how things happened. The best thing I found was the recap of the first book. It was all explained well, and my mind got refreshed with what to expect at the start. The recap was interesting to read.
Then the story began with so much happening in the present, and so much was revealed about the past that I am stunned by all the details. Paesha is a darling, and her character growth is phenomenal. She is the fiercest FMC I have read. Her actions, her thoughts, her kindness, her love, everything is just perfect.
The plot is consuming. Everything just sucks you in, and you can easily devour this big baby. She’s thick with 600+ pages, and every line has its own meaning, something is connected to something, and there is so much to explore with lots of fun, happy moments, along with danger. The Gods are waiting in the shadows. I loved the writing, it is a great conclusion. I will not say more. Happy reading.
I am absolutely obsessed with Till Death and The Never Sky duet world.
Miranda’s writing features beautiful prose, intricate world-building, and profound emotional depth that sucks me in from the very start. Her characters are always developed exceptionally well and continue to evolve as the story unfolds. Paesha is one of those flawed complex FMCs that you can’t help but love. She’s fierce and determined and everything I love in a FMC. Thorne will be forever in my RH of book boyfriends. I am absolutely feral for these characters.
There were so many surprising twists that took me by surprise, and I was constantly on the edge of my seat. I felt as if I was part of a survival game and I loved every moment of it. If you’re looking for a book that will break and heal your heart, this series is perfect for you!

Wow what a finale to the Never Sky series and Paesha’s duology! This book picks up right where we left off after all the twists at the end of Nevermore.
I enjoyed this book so much! The found family aspect of all of Miranda’s books is something I really love. There is some excellent banter not only between our two MCs but amongst our amazing cast of side characters as well. Speaking of side characters, Miranda has created such an amazing group. I find that sometimes in books I will love the MCs but find the side characters a bit flat or lacking in detail. I did not have that problem with Evermore or any of Miranda’s other books. She has created fully fleshed out, dynamic, lovable side characters. It really feels like we get to know as much about them as we do our MCs.
Miranda’s world building also continues to be impeccable. She’s able to create such detailed and immersive worlds in her stories. Evermore builds on the world created in Nevermore (and Til Death, though that can be read as a standalone) and expands the world even more in this book.
Though I’m sad this series is done, this was such a beautiful way to end the story.
Tropes: ☕️Found family ☕️Interfering gods ☕️Enemies to lovers ☕️Great banter ☕️Secrets and betrayal
I did receive an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
