There are over 400 million firearms in the United States.

When one of them is used to commit mass murder during a concert, this violent act sends three complete strangers on a fraught journey through the quagmire of Washington, DC, politics, the never-ending battle over gun rights, and face-to-face with armed militias as a Constitutional loophole sends the nation spiraling.

All three victims seek resolution in different ways. Instead, they may find themselves in the middle of a second Civil War.

impetus by sam leone is magnificent. the writing is clear and concise, the pace is even and the characters are very believable. we are all too familiar with mass shootings and tired of leaders who send their "thoughts and prayers" but do nothing about gun control. hold on to your imaginations! in impetus we have a president with "the plan" to stop mass shootings. is it popular? what do you think? definitely read this novel and let mr. leone know your reaction.

Interesting read. May not be for everyone but I stuck with it. Bounces around a lot which can make it somewhat disjointed. In the end, it comes together but it's a long road to get there.
