Received this book as part of an ARC reading. The twists and the turns throughout this story will leave you pondering what is going to happen next! This was most definitely a different reading style than what I’ve been used to, but nevertheless it was worth it! The in depth details provided to us in the story leave you seeing and practically smelling exactly what you’re reading, from character, to location descriptions- you won’t miss a single depiction. But pay attention, or you may miss key details that you didn’t realize at first and will want to go back to find the information. There’s one twist that definitely left my jaw hanging and audibly going WHAT… But the question is which twist was it? Now I want to start at the first book in the series and see what I’ve been missing!
This story was great. I didn't read the books that came before this one and we concerned that it might be an issue. that wasn't the case at all. this story is so well written that it feels like your a part of everything going on. I could feel, see, hear... it was awesome. when a book feels like a movie in my head, then the author has done a wonderful job. the twists and turns had me eating this book up. I'm definitely going to read the books before this one so I get an even better picture of the awesomeness this book was.
The book further expands the world laid out in the previous books, and really enjoyed getting to meet new characters and explore new locations. The plot is very fast moving, and full of so many twists you will not see coming.
I went into Bitter Truth without reading the previous books, and I was surprised by how quickly I got hooked. The story moves fast, the twists are constant, and it keeps you guessing right up to the last chapter. I really liked the mix of tension, emotion, and mystery — even when I wasn’t familiar with all the backstory, it still made sense and kept me turning pages. A great read if you enjoy unpredictable plots and strong storytelling!
The next book in the series is a fantastic read. I love how it expands the world, introducing new and exciting places that add depth and adventure. The twists are unpredictable and bring fresh perspectives to the characters and their relationships.
