Great read. I love Blake's character, and this was entertaining, humorous, and suspenseful.

As he often does, the author waded into politics, tackling liberal feminism. I totally agree with him, but that took up too much of the book.

But it was still a great read with a great plot.
And I enjoyed the side plot of Jake and Susan.

This book was bad language free, and I really enjoyed it.

I read all the previous books in this series and enjoyed the stories along with the biblical world view and the factual information woven in for each theme. This book had less of what I liked in the previous books and went to far in the explicit and gruesome details of the murders and the scene of the murderer’s capture. Also, the book ended too abruptly.

I loved it and I hated it. This entry in the series is more complex than the rest. Lots to unpack and think about and it doesnt all apply to the mystery. There's also a super sappy romance story I hate that part because it's like reading Jeanette Oke, the perfect version of christian romance that everyone wants and no one ever gets.

Listened to whole series on audiobooks while exercising (2 summers). Not sure how reading it would be but I did enjoy listening to the whole series.
