Really though provoking book. First one in a while that I took quotes.
The book is written and read by an Evangelical Christian. As such it is very liberally filled with quotes from the New Testament and general evangelical thoughts/practices. In some ways I (as a Jew by Choice) felt like a voyeur reading these critiques…. But I learned a lot about evangelical approaches and hope I have the integrity to point a similar lens on my faith.
Very worthwhile. I now hear echoes of his argument about power, fear, and perceived loss every time I listen to the news.
