When my ex leaves me and my little girl penniless, the last person I expect to step in is my childhood sweetheart, Vander Moore.
It's been years since he walked out of my life, and now he's barreling back into it, seeking redemption, and making me an offer I can't refuse--to become his new assistant.
But everything has changed, including him. The broody, sinfully hot bad boy CEO doesn't trust anyone. Especially me.
It isn't long before we're butting heads and fighting at every turn.
He’s a walking red flag. One I need to stay far away from.
Except when life throws me yet another curveball and my daughter and I are forced to move in with him, I start to see the man behind the mask.
And all the tension and heat we've been resisting ignites, consuming us both.
But with each forbidden touch and toe-curling encounter, I give him another piece of my heart.
He says he'll do whatever it takes to keep me and my daughter safe. Even if it costs him everything.
But there are some things even this undeniably corrupt man can't hack his way out of. And it's coming for all of us.

Undeniably Corrupt (Boston's Irresistible Billionaires, #7) by J. Saman

4.5/5 stars

This book was a joy to read. I was smiling so much and I definitely snickered here and there. It's a second chance romance that will make you laugh, warms your heart and is full of amazing characters. Old and new.

The book starts with Vander finally emerging from his 'closet' at work and going for a cup of coffee. He is a talented hacker and CEO of his cyber security business. His appearance is ruffled and his shirt is coffee stained. When he sees a woman treat the barista horribly he sticks up for the barista and instantly realizes the barista is Liora. His first and only love. They dated as teens and something terrible tore them apart.

Liora doesn't recognize him. She is a hard worker and is studying to become a nurse and hopefully later an ob-gyn. She is a single mom and has a beautiful two year old daughter. The father/her boyfriend left them and she is struggling to make ends meet. She also dances at a stripclub and there they accidentally bump into each other again. Vander is there for a job and saves Liora from a handsy customer.

Vander immediately decides to improve her life. Maybe not entirely in the right way. He gets her fired, gets his assistant to bring her in for a job interview and straight away he is fixing her money problems and takes care of her and her daughter Hazel.

Liora is fierce and she fights him every step of the way. They fight and bicker and have the most delicious banter. Liora cannot stop taunting him, seducing him, making him smile. She pushes all his buttons and she secretly aches for his touch. Vander tries to stay away but their bond and shared past is tugging at them harder than either of them want too.

I loved their passion, the laughter and pure joy they shared. Seeing all the characters from previous books pop up was incredibly joyful too. I love their bond, their friendship and the way they have each other's back is admirable.

But Liora is carrying a great pain in her heart. And she does everything in her power to hide it from Vander. And when her past catches up things rapidly change and the story gets pushed forwards into a painful past and agonizing future.

This book has so much heart and it stole mine quite early in the story. Seeing Vander being a daddy straight away made my heart melt and I fell head over heels in love with him.

4.5 HUGE stars for this stunning story!

Book info:

— H (28) / h (26)
— Second chance
— Single mom to a two and a half yo girl
— Billionaire, possessive, protective, morally gray MMC
— A broke FMC
— Boss x Assistant
— He has a secret tattoo for her
— It’s always been you

Safety:

— Separation for 10 years:
Over ten years ago, the H (16–18) and the h (14–16) were childhood sweethearts. Their relationship was a secret because the h was the H’s best friend’s sister and the h also didn’t want her dad to find out, since he never liked the H. They dated for about two years.
The H told her he loved her and that she was the only girl he ever wanted to be with forever. But when her brother died, the H felt guilty for not being there to stop it—especially since he had been spending time with the h when he was supposed to meet her brother. And because her brother never approved of their relationship, the H broke up with the h and left, breaking her heart right when she needed him most.
He says he thought about her all those years but never went looking for her. The h was never angry with the H for leaving. She had moved on with her life, never blamed him for anything and I liked her for that.
Then 10 years later, the H and the h ran into each other by chance at the cafe where the h was working. The H recognized her right away but the h didn’t recognize him because of his different look and that really bothered the H. It took the h a while before she finally realized who he was.
— The MCs’ sexual history:
╰➤ The h said that the H was her first everything (as for the H, I don’t remember!).
╰➤ Both of the MCs have been with other people during separation.
╰➤ The h was the only girl the H ever dated. After breaking up with her, he didn’t date anyone else but he had casual relationships.
╰➤ When he was (20) in college, he and his roommate/bff were screwing around with the same girl (ow). He didn’t care so much about that and wasn’t exclusive with ow (it’s only mentioned). He said he hated sleeping with that ow, but he wanted to prove to himself that he had moved on from the h. Anyway, his bff and ow tried to ruin his life, so he doesn’t trust anyone anymore. (Both of them wanted to get back at him. His bff was jealous of him and also wanted ow for himself. And ow was mad because he didn’t want her to be his girlfriend).
╰➤ Her daughter’s dad isn’t in the picture. A year before the story starts, he left the h and his daughter and ran off with all the h’s money (she hadn’t been with him for long. A month after they started seeing each other, she got pregnant and said she never loved him).
╰➤ The H was the only guy the h had an orgasm with (double standards). This really annoyed me, especially since the H clearly experienced many kinds of pleasure with other women after the h, yet the h had it only with him. He even takes all her firsts whether it was in their past or in current time. Meanwhile he’s already done “most” stuff with other women before meeting her again. I know there’s no other woman compared to the h for him, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth.
(Note: there aren’t really any details about his past).
╰➤ The H has been celibate for a long time (no exact number of how long + I don’t think he’s a manho!).
╰➤ No info on the h last time.
— OM:
The h worked as a stripper at night to support her daughter. At the beginning of the book (around 6%) there was a scene where she was dancing for other men, almost naked (she's only wearing a thong and thigh-highs). Later one of the men asked her to give him a lap dance. She hated it but she had no choice. While she was dancing, the H stepped in and stopped her. At that point the h still didn’t realize who he was. Meanwhile the H was at the club for a meeting with those men. (Note: She quit her job as a stripper in the middle of the book and there are no other scenes except the one mentioned above).
— Slight OW:
One of the H’s coworkers was into him and flirted with him but he wasn’t interested. OW didn’t like the h, got jealous and kept trying to cause some trouble but the h always shut her down. She later apologized to the h and told her that she had moved on.
— No 3rd act break up
— Push and pull from both

This series has been such a fun one to listen two as it came out. I've really been enjoying this cast of characters and I had been SO curious about Vander. Our vigilante hacker behind the scenes. Stepping in when his friends and loved ones needed him. He also is a businessman and tech mogul on the legal side of things. He's intense and secretive but very caring.

When he comes face to face with his first love, Liora, a woman he never thought he'd see again. He can't help but step in as he learns of her struggles. He discovers she now has a young daughter (not his secret baby, just from her previous relationship), he is even more drawn into her orbit.

Liora has had a hard go of life since her brother died and Vander walked out of her life. Her greatest joy is her little girl, but life is not easy. Then her childhood sweetheart pops back into her life and he could be a fresh start or an absolute disaster. But she doesn't have much of a choice once he steps in. He's not going to let her go again.

I was so locked into their story. It was a beautiful second chance, and though there are some secrets and danger along the way, this was my favorite in the series.

Also, this was sexy as hell! Vander was a dominant with a naughty streak and I loved every second.

This was dual narrated by Stella Hunter & Connor Crais. They are such a fun pairing and just made this story pop.

🎧 AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

First off, I have to say that I listened to this one and I had the absolute BEST time. Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were fantastic and they brought so much depth and emotion to this one.

also Connor Crais amazes me and melts me with that sexy growl of his and I swear my body turns to lava when that happens. This man can literally voice anything and I couldn't have imagined anyone else as Vander. Stella was also fantastic and I really feel like she was the one that brought the emotion to the story and just really made me loved this couple as a whole and Liora in particular.

Stellar performance all around.

I loved Vander and Liora's story so much. I have been waiting on this man to get his HEA, and I can firmly say that the mysterious red flag man is my favorite of the series. This man in obsessive, possessive and a little morally gray and I am absolutely here for it.

Also, something about a single mom just always does it for me and Hazel just stole the show. And the way Vander quickly claimed both her and her mom as "his" girls stole my heart.

✨ Morally Gray Billionaire
✨ Single Mom
✨ Boss x Employee
✨ Second Chance
✨ Forced Proximity

This book had everything I wanted. Vander is broody and mysterious and I loved the second chance aspect of this one. There was such a history there that made complete sense with his character and I loved that the moment Liora was in his orbit again, he was going to to do everything he could to keep her.

Also a possessive man who will burn the world down for her and is completely obsessed... I was but a puddle on the floor.

I also really liked Liora in her own right and just wanted her to catch break and find happiness. I loved the pacing of this story, the emotional connection between Vander and Liora and the little bit darker plot with this one.

I also really loved the spice in this one. I know J Saman writes really good spice but I still am continuously shocked and sweating when I'm reading her books because IDK how but it just gets hotter and hotter every single time.

I love this world and this series and the author definitely saved the best for last because these two are amazing. ALSO, Vander is blonde and justice for blonde MMCS everywhere.

4.5 stars

The final book of the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series, this is a sexy, emotional and heartfelt second chance romance for mysterious vigilante hacker, Vander.

Vander has existed in the background of the other books in the series, always willing to come to the aid of his friends and family, but very much keeping to himself. Now, we see him in his element as CEO of a cybersecurity company, and secretly hacking for the greater good.

Liora is a blast from Vander’s past. They were high school sweethearts and deeply in love, but they were torn apart when tragedy struck. Now, it’s many years later and Liora is back in Boston, a single mother to a little girl, and working two jobs while struggling to get by after her ex stole everything and left the country. Though there is years’ worth of animosity between them, Vander can’t help but step in, and he offers Liora a job as his assistant, and when he realises the depth of the trouble she’s in and the danger she faces in her dodgy neighbourhood, his protectiveness knows no bounds and he moves her and her little girl into his apartment. Liora fights him all the way, but she has few other options so reluctantly agrees and the close proximity, anger, mad lust and blurred feelings from the past create a storm of emotion.

There’s no turning back. Maybe there never was. Maybe from the moment I saw her again, it was all over for me. Inevitable.

As much as I love the snark, banter and arguing between these two, it’s the emotion that kept me captivated. They loved each other so fiercely, and that’s never gone away, and the wild chemistry and sexual tension makes it impossible to stay away.

“Vander.”
“What?” he whispers against my neck … “Tell me.”
“This isn’t smart.”
He pulls back and meets my eyes. “Maybe not. But I’m tired of fighting it.”

There are so many feels between these two, and their attraction just makes it all the more complicated. They don’t want to want each other, they just do, and the more time they spend together, the more they give in to their undeniable chemistry, and they can’t hold back.

“I don’t just want you. I hurt with how much I need you.”

But there are big secrets between them – ones that could have dire consequences if revealed, and it’s such a great ride watching them slowly start to trust each other, open up, and finally find their way back to each other.

“You’ve always been with me. You’ve always been a part of me. My angel. No matter how I fight it, all the ways I know being with you is wrong. I still bleed for you.” He lifts my chin and his voice softens. “It’s you, baby. It’s always been you.”

It’s fun, emotional and so entertaining, and I devoured this book. Vander and Liora are fantastic characters, involvement of couples from the other books in the series is so awesome, and the romance is gorgeous. The sexy time is seriously steamy (Vander is a bit of a dark horse with a dirty streak, and I am here for it!), and it’s beautifully swoony, and I loved seeing these two get their happy ending.

I’ll never have this with anyone else. No one will ever love me the way he does. It’s wild and different and undeniably corrupt, but it’s ours, and I want it. Forever.

I have loved this series. Each and every book is an absolute win, and I look forward to many rereads and exploring more of this world in the future.

This is such a great read, I loved it! 4.5 stars.

This is my second book read and arc by J Saman. The first one, I absolutely adored, it was amazing. So when I was approved for this arc I was overjoyed. Unfortunately though, this one fell real short for me.

It seems like I am the minority that didn’t enjoy it so I am pleased to know others are enjoying it.

Firstly, this is an interconnected standalone and I totally understand that there are other characters in the previous books but omg I was so overwhelmed at all times when the previous mc’s interacted with this books mc’s. I’ve read a book in this series so I did understand some background but I couldn’t imagine someone reading this as a standalone, it was so overwhelming and overstimulating.

I was very keen to see where Vander’s story would go, he seemed so mysterious in the previous book so I was excited. Getting to know Liora was a privilege, she is such a hard working woman and does whatever she can to give her daughter a good life. I can totally understand why Vander wanted to look after Liora and help her with her situation but my goodness, he was so full on. Like I can always overlook red flags when it comes to MMC’s but he was just too much. It felt like even though he was trying to give everything to Liora, he actually took everything away from her. In the end she didn’t have anything that was hers that she worked for and owned, everything was Vander’s.

The storyline was also exhausting for me. Just the on and off with both the characters moods. One would hate the other and then change their minds and confess their love but then would proceed to run away, then the other character would do that and rinse and repeat.

I really should’ve DNF’d this book so tbh it’s really on me that I didn’t have a good time but I was determined to enjoy it but I’m devastated that I just didn’t.

Ahhh! Perfection! I have been very eagerly waiting for Vander's book, and it was everything I needed and more. He’s been known for his protective tendencies, elusive personality, and unreal smarts throughout this whole series. After the last book, I was so excited when Julie announced she was finally giving us Vander's story! It met every expectation I had and then some. It was beautifully written, and the balance and chemistry between Liora and Vander were so well captured!

I think I’m starting to love second-chance romances more and more. Especially when they’re done like this one. I loved the brief but powerful flashbacks Julie gave us from when they were younger, and the fact that this man was all her firsts! Ah! So well done.

Liora was such a strong FMC. Willing to do whatever it took to protect her daughter and give her the life she never had. Which means accepting help from her very dominant boss, who just so happens to be her ex-boyfriend she never fully got over. Vander’s character was exactly how I pictured him through the glimpses we’ve gotten in this series. He was assertive, protective, and man, could he take charge in the bedroom. Or even out of it like a parking garage or over his desk. 🤭 This man loved showing Liora just how much he missed her during their years apart.

The chemistry between these two was HOT! Absolutely insanely well-written! I loved every second of them fighting through their frustrations. 🔥

I’m so excited for what’s next in J. Saman’s ever-growing world! She has truly created one heck of a universe for us, and I couldn’t be more obsessed!

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧
Dual narration
Narrated by Connor Crais and Stella Hunter

These two have become one of my favorite duos! They have nailed every performance I’ve ever listened to them do together. Whether it’s dual or duet, it’s always so well done, and this audiobook was no different.

When I found out Connor was narrating Vander, the MMC I had been waiting a lifetime (okay, I joke, more like a few months, but it felt like forever) I just knew he’d do the character justice. Grumpy and possessive is something Connor performs so well! I knew it would be the perfect fit, and it definitely was. He gave us all our favorite growls and f****!!! As usual, I fell even more in love with the character than I expected to, thanks to Connor’s performance and Julie’s writing!

Stella was absolutely perfect. A sassy single mom with a strong-willed personality is one of my all-time favorite types of Stella performances! She did such an incredible job bringing Liora to life. Her dual performances impress me every single time, not only does she do a fantastic job embodying the FMC, but she also puts so much personality into every other character she voices. I absolutely loved every bit of it!

I highly recommend this audiobook!!

I thought that book 6 was the final in this series, but I was so happy to be wrong! Vander has been an intriguing character throughout the entire series, so I was super excited when I found out he was getting a book. And it ended up being my favorite of the Boston Billionaires! How could I not love it, it had most of my favorite tropes and micro-tropes, and there’s some captivating mystery/suspense. Liora and Vander had the best tension, and I loved peeling back the layers of their history and relationship. And one of my favorite parts was how sweet he was with her daughter 🥹

This was a good second chance romance. Vander will be your next book boyfriend guaranteed 🥰. I absolutely loved the banter between these two. They had me smiling a lot throughout this book. Plus these two brought the heat ☺️. There are a lot of layers to this story and I enjoyed peeling them back one by one. Undeniably Corrupt was a good read that I highly recommend!!

This follows Vander (28) and Liora (26), connected by history. Ten years later, Vander a broody, handsome recluse who is now the CEO of a cybersecurity company and a secret hacker by night runs into Liora working at a café. She’s the one who got away. But now Liora has secrets of her own and a potential threat looming on the horizon. Can he stay away, or will he intervene without her permission?

This book hit me right in the feelings with its intimate moments, fun banter, and tension. Character driven with a little bit of plot. I’m obsessed with Vander and Liora it’s got everything I love. A struggling FMC paired with a man who wants to do everything to protect and take care of her, while the MMC is fully in denial and battling his internal feelings. Vander is a handsome recluse and a workaholic, while Liora is strong, doing everything she can for her daughter. She keeps her head held high, even as she hides behind secrets. She pushes Vander’s buttons at every turn, being a bit of a brat, yet unable to forget the memories they shared. I was smiling and screaming during the stripper scenes, especially with Vander trying so hard to convince everyone that he was just helping her out. I also liked how Liora found her peace at the end, though I wasn’t a fan of how the scene with her father played out. Overall, another brilliant book by J. Saman, with a fantastic narrator cast for the audiobook I highly recommend this format.

Disappointed!

To me this was just an ok read, I had expected so much more! Vander was like this super hot, mysterious, morally grey character throughout this series. I was so excited for his story, Only to be disappointed. It was a really good storyline and I enjoyed all the characters and this is shocking coming from me, but I felt like the author filled the holes/pages with to many sexy times and not story time! Seriously I skipped over one or more sex scenes just to get back to the actual story😲😱 shocking I know!! I love this author but imo the story could have been nurtured into a 5 star read! Maybe its just me and the mood I've been in but I'm increasingly drawn to books with better character development, better world building and storylines that have some sexy times bc come on we all need that in our books. An equal balance of everything please! ✌

Over It Before the Epilogue.

I was bored with this one and almost stopped a few times. The plot had some potential, but it never really went anywhere.
There were more sex scenes than story, and I ended up skipping several of them.

I picked it up because there was a child involved, but there were so few meaningful interactions that it didn’t add much. Usually, that element helps carry a weak plot … not here.

Overall, a mediocre read, and I have no interest in continuing the series.

This was such a fun read!

- Spice throughout; this is not a slow burn
- no third act breakup
- Low angst
- forced proximity
- Good banter
- billionaire CEO, secret hacker/single mom, nursing student, exotic dancer
- first everything’s/second chance/soulmates
- morally grey/possessive/touch her and get seriously mangled vibes
- Strong protective FMC
- No OM/OW
- suspense/intrigue
- dick piercings/secret tattoo
- sexy times everywhere; they can’t keep their hands off each other/anal/light bondage, edging
- Dual POV; HEA - engagement in epilogue, 6 months later.

This was a fun spicy read that will leave you smiling. Vander is a CEO by day and hacker by night. He runs into his first love, Liora (“Angel”) when he sees her at a coffee shop in Boston 10 years after they broke up as teenagers (she was 16 and he was 18).

She is a broke single mom after her ex boyfriend left her and stole her money. She is estranged from her wealthy family, a nursing student and struggling to make ends meet. It’s for that reason she’s working in the coffee shop and as a dancer/stripper.

Vander sees her in the club when he is there on a “job”, he intervenes w a handsy customer and then arranges to have her come work for him as his assistant. Fun times ensue from there.

She is a short time later assaulted on the street outside her terrible apt and he steps in and moves her and her daughter, Hazel, into his house.

There is intrigue around the death of her brother at 18, why she’s estranged from her father, why she has no money, etc.

And while there is distrust between these two, there is never hate. I liked that she wasn’t bitter over their teenage breakup, but more annoyed at his current meddling. And I liked that he recognized and caved fairly quickly to his feelings and realized he could trust her and that he still and always loved her. This was a fun second chance romance, which is not always my favorite.

Take the ride and enjoy! 😊

Undeniably Corrupt is the final book in the Boston's Irresistible Billionaires series and one I was looking forward to since I have been intrigued by Vander, the hacker friend of the group. Now, the broody CEO/hacker gets a second chance at love with his childhood sweetheart.

Liora has been struggling to get by since her ex stole all her money. She is working two jobs while trying to finish nursing school while also taking care of her adorable daughter. When Vander runs into his high school sweetheart, he decides to step in.

Vander and Liora have a lot of history and past hurt to get over after he left her when her brother and his best friend died when they were younger. He is determined to get her back and help her, even if he has to do some shady things to get it done.

I loved the second chance romance and how sweet Vander was with Liora's daughter. Their chemistry was undeniable, and this one seemed like the spiciest book of the series.

There are some big secrets that led to their first breakup that came to light with dangerous consequences. I was kind of thrown off by the suspense elements of this one compared to the previous books, but it also added an exciting part to the story.

I absolutely adored Vander and Liora’s story! While J. Saman’s worlds are predominantly full of healthcare workers, this one is a little outside that realm and I loved that. While Liora is in school and doing clinicals at the hospital, the main focus isn’t that fact.

🖤Billionaire romance
🖤Single mom
🖤Grumpy x sunshine
🖤Workplace relationship
🖤He falls first
🖤Childhood secret sweethearts

Back when they were in their mid to late teens, Liora and Vander were in the absolute kind of love that we all aspire to. And then things happen and they don’t see one another again.

Here we are a decade later, Liora is a single mom whose life has been completely destroyed by her ex and she is doing anything and everything she can to provide the best life for her daughter. And when Vander sees this happening, of course he steps in to take care of her. The girl, now woman, who he has never stopped loving.

Their love story is epic and I loved the journey we are taken on with them! Vander is such a complex character – he is broody and secretive, but the way my heart melted in the scenes with him with Liora’s daughter. He loves with his whole heart, even when he doesn’t realize that he is doing it.

Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were the perfect duo in this dual narrated audiobook! Connor was the perfect mix of brooding grump and sweet man, but only for her! And Stella was fantastic with Liora’s strong willed, determined mindset, but also during the times that she let herself feel safe with Vander.

Liora is the example of what a mother would do for her child. She legit hustled and clawed her way to make sure her daughter was cared for and never had to question or ask for anything, no matter the circumstance.

Amazing book and amazing ending to this series

Undeniably Corrupt- J Saman

Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Narration 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

J Saman has knocked it out of the park, yet again. This was probably my favorite in the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series. Full of secrets and suspense and angst and tension. I loved how much Vander loved on his girls. He was so willing to burn the world down to make sure Liora and Hazel were safe. And Liora was a bad ass in her own right. This book was so good.

Stella and Connor were phenomenal in this narration. I think I said this in my last Connor Crais review too, but he has the hot grumpy voice down pat. And Stella did incredible as not only Liora but her little kid for is fantastic too.

Vander & Liora.

Shew lord.. J Saman has done it again and with a little extra kink to the mix.

Vander is the man who has dark secrets and deep desires. The secrets and desires will be unlocked once he spots Liora again. These two were childhood friends to lovers.. and things happened which ripped them apart. I will say I have been looking forward to seeing these two thrive not only in the bedroom but as a couple once they got out of each others ways.

Undeniably Corrupt ticks all the boxes for a thriller/mystery, romance, work place forced proximity situationship with a happy ever after that is a perfect ending to this group of friends who have become family.

Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

❤️ Enemies to Lovers
❤️ Second Chance Romance
❤️ Childhood Sweethearts
❤️ Grumpy/Sunshine
❤️ Single Mom
❤️ He’s Her Boss

I was so excited for Vander’s story, and it absolutely delivered.

Vander and Liora are childhood sweethearts torn apart by tragedy. Years later, life throws them back together, Liora is a single mom struggling to rebuild, and Vander is the broody, morally gray CEO who can’t quite let go of the girl he once loved (and lost). Their second chance comes with workplace drama, family secrets, and a LOT of unresolved tension. And when Vander lets down his walls? Whew. The man is protective, obsessive, and so gone for her.

Things I loved:
✨ The childhood sweetheart backstory, heartbreak but also so much history.
✨ Vander being protective (that doctor at the cafe scene?? yes, sir 👏).
✨ Hazel, sweetest little girl and total scene stealer. 😍
✨ The group chats (hilarious and gave me big first-gen nostalgia).
✨ The ANGST. The STEAM. The OBSESSION.

And the twists! I had my suspicions about Liora’s dad and Cass’s death, but when it all came out? Still gasped.

Overall, Undeniably Corrupt is steamy, angsty, emotional, and the perfect second chance romance for anyone who loves a morally gray hero who falls hard and a sunshine heroine who finally gets the love she deserves. Thank you J. Saman for the ARC!

Omg this was the best book in the series for me. Hands down. Single mom, second chance, AND they were high school sweethearts. This book literally took over my life in all the best ways possible. A single mom is going to do it for me every single time, especially watching Vander and Liora's daughter Hazel create such a beautiful bond... I adored it!

The audio was amazing and the dual narration really won me over.

✨ Undeniably Corrupt ✨
Book 6 in the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series (and yes, it can be read as a standalone!)

Vander is the broody, grumpy-but-soft CEO/hacker.
Liora is a fierce single mom doing everything she can to protect her daughter while outrunning her past.

Once childhood sweethearts, fate pulls them back together—and every buried feeling returns stronger than ever. 💔🔥

What I loved most?
✨ Liora’s strength and fight as a single mom—she’ll win your heart.
✨ Vander’s relentless devotion—he refuses to give up on their love.
✨ Their banter (hilarious), their passion (next level), and their history (swoon-worthy).

This is the perfect conclusion to an addictive series that will leave you laughing, swooning, and maybe even tearing up. 🥹

🎧 Bonus for audiobook lovers: narrated by the powerhouse duo Connor Crais & Stella Hunter!

Absolutely love this story. IF you are looking for a good anti hero, morally grey hacker billionaire, Vander is your man.

Second chance vibes as they were childhood sweethearts, but had a falling out which leads to alot hate between the two. When they finally cross paths Vander does everything to get Liora back, doesn't matter what he needs to do. Vander was a perfect MMC. This was an amazing end to this series

4.25⭐️/ 4-5🌶️

This was a good book! From the second chance romance, workplace romance, forced proximity, overprotective MMC, spicy, found family, some suspense/ danger, and more, there was plenty of enjoy in J. Saman’s book. This was my second J. Saman book I’ve read, and I’ve forgotten how much I enjoy reading her books. Having read this book, I might go back and start from the beginning to see the other couples stories. Anyways, this story showed, Vander and Liora who were childhood/ high school sweethearts being reunited after many years since they last parted when Vander broke up with Liora. Things weren’t as simple or as they appeared especially with Liora having to juggle two jobs and raising her two and a half year old daughter by herself. Through a series of unfortunate events, Liora kept trying her best in work, school, and ultimately trying to provide everything she could for Hazel, and luck proved her with running into a familiar face…Vander.

I will say, from the moment Vander and Liora were back in each other’s lives, I could understand a bit of Liora’s hesitation about Vander, but at the same time…GIRL HE WAS STILL OBSESSED WITH YOU! Plus, it didn’t hurt seeing Vander go out and buy a bunch of stuff for Liora and Hazel, as well as giving them a place to stay after a terrifying encounter Liora and Hazel had. Liora was dealt a tough hand in life, and yet she still persevered. I admired Liora’s determination and honesty the way she was such a great mom to Hazel. Even in some more heavier moments, Liora always managed to bring happiness to Hazel and tried to shield her from the not so happy things in life as best as she could. On top of all the responsibilities Liora had, seeing her interact with Vander was interesting lol. I say that because, even when she tried to kept herself guarded from him, she couldn’t help feel those feelings she once had for him as well as feeling her ovaries exploded over seeing how precious and sweet Vander was with Hazel. All in all, Liora was a good character and she had a resilience to her that was very admirable.

While I always say, I don’t go out of my way looking for stories with kids in them, I will say, Hazel was such a cute pie especially in the scene she shared with Vander. Hazel was an observant two and a half year old who, saw and heard things most kids her age wouldn’t understand fully, but she did. In addition, Hazel was quite unsure of others such as Vance at first, but she gradually grew fond of him which was ADORABLE. Seeing Vander take on the role of surrogate father to Hazel was precious and honestly over the course of this book seeing him claim Hazel as his own was very fitting in Dad goals. So safe to say, I was a big fan of Vander and Hazel being cute together.

This story packed a good amount of things to enjoy, but it ultimately illustrated the obstacles and things Vander and Liora had to work through in order for their second chance romance. With the twist of a certain character being the villain and how they essentially played a role in why Liora was so secretive about certain things really upped the high stakes plot. There was a dash of danger sprinkled throughout the book which I wasn’t fully aware of, but again it also added that dramatic flair and moving force to putting Vander to help Liora. I also adored the found family in this book! It was crystal clear how much the friend group in this book all loved and cared for on another which was then extended to Liora and Hazel. Despite not having read the previously books, I was able to grasp which character was who, and not reveal too much about their respective stories should I want to go back to the start of these books. Anyways, this was a good book that kept me entertained, a tiny bit on edge, adore the characters, plenty of spicy fun, and a whole lot of Vander and Liora together again.

Julie Saman's books are always good, and her stories never disappoint me. With a very new book, they became even better.

I was really excited about Vander's book. He was like this handsome, grumpy and broody hacker. It was finally time to see who would be his reading lady.

Vander and Liora were a couple 10 years ago, but when her brother died, he felt guilty being with her and they broke up. Now, years later, they met by chance and from this moment on they became one of my favorite couples.

I needed this story so I could get to know Vander better. Yes, we met him in every other book, but that didn't help much to see him as a person. As soon as he met Liora, I can definitely say that he was obsessed with her. Yes, he wanted to help, and he was justifying his actions by saying he wanted to help, but to me, he knew he still loved her. It did take a little bit of time to admit that to himself, but that didn't stop him from being around her all the time. After all, she was his first love and would definitely be his last.

Liora was a wonderful woman. After all she's been through with her family, her brother's death and her ex leaving her, she didn't stop fighting for her dreams and her adorable little girl. At the beginning, she didn't recognize Vander, and after she knew it was him, she still couldn't trust him completely. It's been years and they weren't the same people. But as soon as she saw his intentions were good, she started to believe that, after all, she deserved happiness.

When they were together, these two were powerful. They build trust with each other from scratch and know they belong together. The way they looked at each other, took care of each other and loved each other was perfect in every way. Vander needed someone like her in his life to fully believe in love again. She simply deserved him, because his love was everything that she needed in her and her daughter's life.

As I expected, we had some pretty spicy scenes in this book. Everything between Vander and Liora was so hot and passionate. There was plenty of smut and there was definitely some kink going around. Which I looooved so much 🥵.

Overall, I loved Vander and Liora's love story and I can't wait for the next book the author will give us ❤️.

Julie knocked it out of the park with this one. Whew😮‍💨👏🏽I knew Vander will be my endgame in this series, and he f*cken annihilated me!I’d kneel for this man any day, any time🧎🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️ I thought i loved his dad’s book but he’s now the head of my new round table 🥵😌 This man sure has a way to make you melt into a puddle, panting like a dog🤤 He’s loyal to a fault, and loving but also very quiet and deadly😌👏🏽 he takes no shit from anyone and is way too smart for his own good(hello, hacker). All these qualities made him top tier book boyfriend but add in DADDY Vander and he topped it off!! The way this man took care of Hazel had me tearing up and feeling mushy inside..he went all out for this little girl and ughhhh.. he was perfect😭🥹👏🏽His overprotectiveness over Liora and Hazel was over the top and i love it!

Liora James is a spitfire..she challenged Vander in all the right ways. She’s also the best mama to sweet little Hazel. Being a single mom, working two jobs and going through med school is not for the weak, but she did it all with a little skip in her step! I want to be her when i grow up! The tension between her and Vander was the perfect kind.Their chemistry was explosive and full of heat. They’re molded perfectly for each other. That Brandy scene 😮‍💨🥵will forever live in my head rent free!!

this book was everything 👏🏽👏🏽Hands down, my favorite! Stella Hunter and Connor Crais did an amazing job bringing this story to life. You can easily tell which character is talking with the different tones they use for each one .They both did a spectacular job on this audio😌👏🏽Thank you so much to Julie for the ARC & ALC!

For me this book started off good. It took me a very short time to get through the first 30 to 40% because I enjoyed the back and forth Vander and Liora and I did believe in the relationship they were forming because of their past. I do have to admit though that I was so not a fan of the name Liora and had a hard time connecting with her in the book because she just didn't fit her name for me. It was nice to get a few flash backs of their history in the story which helped form that connection and make it more believeable. Their relationship overall progressed nicely and was cute.

But that is the thing that prevented me from making this 5 stars.....from all the other books the last thing I would think would that Vander would be in a 'cute' relationship and be ok with becoming an inta-dad with little to no reservations. From the other books I got that Vander was kind of the 'bad boy' who was a little socially awkward compared to his friends but he had a much more out-going and sensitve side in this story than I pegged him for. Overall the character of Vander fell short for me in this book compared to what I wanted him to be.

The whole mess of Liora's parents was another issue that didn't make sense to me. It was never really spelled out in the book WHY her dad was such a bad person to begin with other than he was involved with some bad people. But what did he do? And what did Cass find out about him that started the whole thing spiraling? I just didn't feel there was enough back story given to show the relationship or lack-there-of she had with her father which made the whole end of the story kind of drag on and felt like there were still some loose ends to figure out. I also didn't like the lack of an epilogue in the actual book. It felt like things ended abruptly and I've always enjoyed how this author with past books has given us an epilogue and then an extended one through the website but that wasn't the case here.
