Writing romance started out as a hobby and an escape from the stresses of my day job. I tried Amazon first, finding no success. I decided I wanted the interaction and feedback from readers more than money. I started publishing on Inkitt, where I found the audience I was looking for. One day, I received an email from their sister app, Galatea, offering a contract for Journey’s End. Things took off from there, and I now have 7 books published on the app, and a nice little side hustle.

2.5 stars, maybe 3.
This book was looong and boring at times. Then suddenly, as if the author finally got bored of pretty much writing the same things, the book ends.
Nate, self-proclaimed bachelor, and Stella, genius 22-year old girl next door virgin, get married to be on an adventure reality show featuring newly weds. It was a ludicrous start to the story, but whatever.
Both of them are immature and annoying. Giving each other the silent treatment and not talking out the issues. Eventually having sex and somehow beginning to love each other, on Nate’s part it was an expected development but didn’t make a lot of sense.
They face challenges and lots of things go wrong for them that are really stupid. The coyote in the day time. The semen in the eye. The pig thing charging in. The back against all the elevator buttons. The bear swiping at Nate. The alligator biting Larry’s ass. The kidnapping. Lots of nonsense that just were really stupid.
The main story was an interesting concept, just not well executed. Especially since it was a lot of the same ol’ same ol’ type situations. And then suddenly they’re like let’s end the adventure early, congrats Team Miller.
Expected and cliche ending where Stella loves Nate so much she sets him free and Nate is forced to go after her so they can stay together. Epilogue in the future with babies. HEA.

If I could give this story 100 stars, I would! It's so incredibly funny, sweet, with just the perfect amount of crazy drama (that is mostly relatable - or at least teaches a lesson, like what not to do when you're camping in bear territory) & spice! I am hoping it will eventually be available as a printed copy, and maybe even turned into a movie/tv series, because I'd read and binge watch this over and over!

I started reading this on the Galatea app and I could not stop reading once I started! It’s the perfect blend of adventure, spice, romance, and comedy. I love the banter between Stella and Nate, and this was the first book I’ve read in a while that made me laugh out loud while reading.

Good listen. Frustrating only listening to a chapter at a time, but ensured I didn’t spend my whole day devouring books
