Let me start by saying that I wish more options were available, I feel it deserves more than 4 stars but not quite 5. Now don't get me wrong that isn't even down to the Author's writing style/skill, that is more to do with the genre I prefer on a daily basis.
Now here we have just one book, but multiple journeys and all for one price too.
There were stories in here that I enjoyed more than others, my favourite definitely being "The Porch People" the writing here done very well indeed, story flowed well, you felt yourself actually thinking "what's going to happen?". You could tell that the author resonated with what she wrote to a degree, and I absolutely love the ending.
This is an author whose existence I only discovered recently, or I would have read sooner, but one whose writing is well done and enjoyable and makes you wonder again about the minds of these creatures! I will be reading more written by S.H. Townsend and I highly recommend you all take a look as well.
The stories inside are as follows, Sparks
The Best Friend
The Coin
For Leah
Dreams of my Father
One More
Acute Teenager Syndrome
The Porch People
Somnambulism
The Bombing of Hamilton High

And then Poetry Corner.
The final three stories in this book were most enjoyable to me, for various reasons, because they are closer suited to genre that appeals to me, because I felt they told more of the story and because I felt that the writing was even better. There is no negative remark to be read in this, don't get me wrong, I think that all the stories should be read.
