In the 1970s, the world changed forever. Without warning, colossal towers of black stone erupted from the earth, and with them came the Aserathi—an alien people who looked like humans but were faster, stronger, and infinitely more dangerous.

They were led by the Seven Sisters, beings of unimaginable power worshipped as living gods. Behind them stood their Archons and Scions, lieutenants who enforced their dominion. Humanity’s armies shattered. Governments crumbled. Within months, Earth was theirs.

By 2025, humanity exists only on sufferance—labourers, servants, rebels clinging to shadows. Resistance still sparks, but always at a cost.

Cael is no hero. Just another man trying to survive in the ruins of southern England, running jobs for scraps, looking after those who can’t fend for themselves. But when he crosses paths with an Aserathi, his life veers violently off course.

Soon Cael finds himself hunted, entangled in secrets older than the Aserathi’s arrival, and changing in ways that could either save humanity… or doom it forever.

In a world ruled by gods in human form, what chance does one man have?

Warning!!! Contains graphic description of violence and harem type relationships.

Can’t wait for book three!

Good series so far, just finished book two and eagerly await book three. A new to me author. I have started another series of his, titled the devils apprentice which I think is good but I prefer Ashbound if I had to choose.
