FALLING FLAT ON SCRIPTURE: A BIBLICAL RESPONSE TO DANNY FAULKNER'S GLOBE-EARTH APOLOGETICS

Rate this book
Falling A Biblical Response to Danny Faulkner is a chapter-by-chapter refutation of Danny Faulkner’s Falling Flat. While Faulkner claims to dismantle flat earth arguments, this book shows how he avoids the strongest points, misrepresents the evidence, and often refuses to deal with what flat earthers actually present.

This response book is written from a biblical point of view. It asks whether God inspired His Word with truth—or whether, as some claim, He allowed His people to believe false cosmology through “accommodation.” Did the ancient Hebrews believe in a firmament and a flat earth? Did Jesus correct their understanding, or did He affirm that they “knew how to interpret the face of the sky and of the earth” (Luke 12:56)?

Topics addressed

The firmament and the biblical use of the word “heaven.”

Whether accommodation theory makes God complicit in error.

How sunrise and sunset are defined in Hebrew as directional—“coming” and “going”—not proof of a spinning earth.

Observable still water needing a container, line-of-sight communication, and measurements that show no curvature.

Jeremiah 31:37: if heaven above or earth beneath could be measured, Israel would cease to exist.

Where Danny Faulkner appeals to science and authority, this book turns back to the plain sense of Scripture. If you’ve read Falling Flat and felt the Bible itself was pushed aside, this response gives the other side of the story.

God’s Word is true from the beginning (Psalm 119:160). The question is—will we believe what is written, or the assumptions of modern cosmology?
