This outlines four principles that take teachers from just doing reflection to making it a way of being. Using the four principles, Farrell provides a comprehensive overview of the concept of reflective practice and why it is important for language teachers.
There were some good points, but they were weakly supported. By the end, I felt no motivation towards reflection beyond what I felt when I started. While Farrell stated many things, he didn't provide good arguments or evidence. I also found it a bit off-putting that he seemed to cite himself more than anyone else, like he was speaking in an echo chamber. Overall, I found his view of reflection to be quite limited and not very useful for many teachers.
