Zero Point: A Sci-Fi Thriller of Alien Energy and Hidden Wars is a big, idea driven sci-fi story that goes far beyond a typical action thriller. It’s the kind of book that leans heavily into concepts consciousness, reality, and humanity’s place in the universe while still building a high-stakes conflict around them.
What stood out most to me was the scope. This isn’t just about one discovery or one threat it keeps expanding, from scientific research into zero point energy to something much more cosmic and philosophical. The idea that consciousness itself is a fundamental force is explored in a way that feels ambitious and, at times, pretty mind bending.
Dr. Elena Vasquez works well as the anchor for all of this. Her shift from scientist to something much bigger feels like the emotional thread holding the story together. The conflict with Dr. Voss and the Axiom Collective adds a darker edge, especially with the idea of weaponizing consciousness it’s unsettling and creative at the same time.
That said, the book can feel dense, especially with all the scientific and conceptual layers being introduced. It’s not always an easy read, but if you’re willing to go with it, there’s a lot to unpack and think about.
