Clean In 15: Create a clean & happy home in minutes - Iwan Carrington
I have been eagerly waiting for the opportunity to read this book since “Mr Carrington” announced it on his YouTube channel. I wanted to see if it would be any different or a copycat of the ‘celebs’ he hangs out with, one of which my sister is obsessed with and another who copies other ‘celebs’ to gain their fame.
So here we go Iwan, I watch your YouTube videos and they are very hit and miss for me. Sometimes, but not often I inwardly think wtf? While others are actually quite interesting. I think I’m still a bit narked at another book I am currently reading (not related to this one!) and I should give Mr Carrington a fair chance, I like him, he’s a lot of fun to watch. So let’s get reading your book…
First off, I love the dedication to Pumpkin & Mittens ~ Those two are adorable.
Well I’ve taken lots of notes so that’s a great sign for me anyway. There are a few things that I never even thought of so he’s definitely covered all bases. I need a cleaning caddy, why have I never had one at home!? I’ve had numerous cleaning jobs where I’ve used them and they are a life saver.
I think rotating ‘place’ should say ‘plate’ I thought it was proofread? lol
I love the idea of using lemon to make the microwave smell good. Infact I would use lemon everywhere throughout my home. I love the fresh, clean scent but my partner doesn’t so much.
I actually became addicted to using Lemon Sherbet Fabulosa a few years ago thanks to my sister and her cleaning obsession. I always had some made-up and ready to go it was my favourite!
I also used to get the Citrus Shake ‘n’ Vac but can’t seem to find it anywhere these days.

Overall I think it’s a great book, I’m glad I read it and enjoyed it. I learnt a few things along the way and I have high hopes for some of the solutions provided. Thank you Mr C!

I pre ordered Mr. Iwan Carringtons book in August. I have been longing for it to arrive in Mallorca, Spain. I was so excited to receive it. It is filled with household tips and tricks for house. Everytime now when I have a doubt or question how to do something at home, in the best and the easiest way, I check Iwan's book. Clean in 15 by Mr Iwan Carrington, TV and Youtube star is a must for everyone. I am a big fan. He is such a fab gentleman and the book is a must for everyone. I totally love it. Simply the Best.

I've been a long time subscriber to Mr. Carrington's YouTube channel and have followed along as this book was created.
I thought I knew what to expect when the book came out. I am already half way through and am gobsmacked. I don't think he missed anything.
I love the color coding as it makes things easier.
The organization is excellent.
While he does provide what I call 'things to think about' regarding acquisition of tools and cleaners, he also provides recipes for cleaners (etc) you can make yourself. And those are easy to do and cost effective. If you know Mr. C, those are his hallmarks.
He has included information on the symbols and labels that we see on pretty much everything.
And, yes, he provides routines for actually cleaning in 15 minutes or so. But not just for the inside of the house. Mr. C has added the outside areas to his list of routines.
The book is designed to go in with your cleaning supplies for handy reference and is easy to maneuver to find the information you need when you need it.
I knew this book would be a great tool for anyone who needs to know how to clean pretty much anything. I was not disappointed. I also think this book would be a great gift for those who are embarking on their first home (campus dorm, first apartment, etc.). As one who has been cleaning for longer than I care to admit, I think it is an excellent resource for folks like me.
This is one of the handiest books you will ever own.

Whilst not as dramatic and entertaining as a psychological thriller, although this is a book on cleaning, it is certainly not a 'dry, how-to manual' type situation.
I'm sure like many who have read this book, I discovered Iwan through the Sort Your Life Out TV show. Whenever he was on screen, I'd immediately jot down his advice and tips into my phone, as they were so clever whilst simultaneously being simplistic and accessible.
The voice of Clean in 15 is the same as the non-judgemental, down-to-earth, and quietly wise tone that Iwan presents with on Sort Your Life Out. His book is also very well structured, visual, and broken down in a way that makes my brain happy. You can very easily dip in and dip out for what you need, as and when you need it.
I was never shown much of how to clean properly, and have had to simply learn by making mistakes. I've faced much judgement for not having an inate cleaning ability, and this has actually improved my confidence a lot! Hopefully, this book will take out much of that trial and error in future with my upcoming house move.

Ich liebe Aufräum- und Renovierungssendungen und bin dadurch bei "Sort your life out" auf Iwan Carrington aufmerksam geworden. Er ist Putzexperte und Social Media Star, wo er gerne Putz- und Dekotipps gibt. Jetzt gibt es endlich die wichtigsten Putztipps als Buch und ich muss sagen, es ist rundherum gelungen. Von selbstgemachten Putzmitteln auf Essig- oder Natronbasis bis zu 15-Minuten-Putzaktionen gibt es alles, was das Reinigungsherz begehrt. Und das in äußerst unterhaltsamen Stil. Sehr guter Ratgeber!

Who knew you could clean so much with white vinegar! I feel like this would be great for anyone heading off to uni or moving out for the first time. I think my favourite part was the routine maps at the end, the illustrations were beautiful!

A nice enough read and well laid out. It didn’t contain much that I hadn’t already known. This is however, a great book for someone starting out.
